The condo was clean and cute with a comfortable layout and furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a nice deck overlooking a wooded area with limited views of the 12th hole. The tennis court was grimy and unkept. The pool deck area and pool was covered in leaves and needles. Plan on playing tennis somewhere else. I recommend bringing your own beach chairs. The location was great!

Appreciate this guest's candor. We will definitely reach out to the HOA to have them address the tennis courts as it is a constant battle with as much vegetation canopy as the court has. Worth mentioning that we provide an hour of free tennis at one of the local clubs here in Sea Pines if future guests are interested. Just an FYI-the pool closes on 10/01, and so the pool deck area is only cleaned weekly during the closed months. Thank you!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Pines. We were there to attend the RBC Heritage , so the location was perfect. The house clean and spacious. Management was a pleasure, we arrived ealy and called to see if we could get in early and it wasn't a problem which is so nice after a long day of traveling. We would definitely stay again at 599 Hall .

Family Vacation

The property was in a great location. It was right near the pool and easy to get in and out of the parking area. We enjoyed the layout and even joyed the rinsing area on the porch, which came in handy with sand from the beach. The only thing I would say needs more attention is the number of bugs. There was WAY to many roaches and spiders inside and outside of the property. It might need to be sprayed. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

This feedback is much appreciated. Some guests unfortunately do not allow the pest control people inside when they are here. This can cause a problem for future guests. We have had a maintenance spray done. FYI for this neighborhood, treatment is 1st Thursday of the month.

The pool area left a lot to be desired. Pool was dirty including the area around the pool. I like pools and this was very disappointin.

Would recommend

The place was great - is getting dated but otherwise it’s clean and comfortable. Was nice to have the chairs for the beach to use so we didn’t have to travel with our own. No fault at all of the unit or the property owner but the pool was pretty gross during our stay (the water, the deck and the furniture all looks like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time). The pool location couldn’t be better for this unit. I would suggest to the property manager to help renters know more about beach access proactively. Knowing our access was through the beach club would have saved us time and headache, and most importantly knowing that they have very limited access to parking with the type of sea pines pass we had. If you’re not there VERY early you won’t get to park there…we went as early as 8:00 and we’re turned away…and the guys working the lot are clearly told to be hard…they were not even a little friendly in telling you to go find somewhere else to park or catch a trolley. The location of the unit on the island is great though (sea pines)…easy access to the harbour and other island attractions.

Appreciate the constructive feedback. The parking restrictions are posted in our ad details and in the notebook inside the villa, along with the shuttle and trolley schedules. the restriction on parking is limited to peak season. It is unfortunate that the attendants are not more friendly and something we often speak about with resort staff. We have messaged with the pool company and shared this feedback so that they can be more attentive with blowing and power washing.

A Great Disappointment

Our stay was less than pleasant. So many things... we were told three weeks before our Christmas/New Year's stay that our building would be undergoing exterior painting over the holiday. No one can prevent rainy days, but on other days, we endured plastic covering our view out of all windows for three entire days. Along with painters covering our cars in plastic which were parked right in front of the unit. They should have asked us to move our cars. Many other little things; less than stellar cleanliness, many lamps that didn't work, bikes that had to be changed out, etc.. I would not book a stay in this unit ever again. On the other hand, the view, of the golf course albeit the painters and rain, was lovely.

We certainly do apologize for the difficulties the exterior painting caused and would have honored a request to cancel when we notified this guest. Three weeks was all the notice we were given by the POA. The owners took the time after this check out to remodel their kitchen while the other work was going on in the neighborhood. Look for beautiful new pictures in the coming weeks.

Sea Pines Villa

My husband, 2 dogs & I had lovely week at the Sea PInes Villa. Only 1/3 mile from the beach & beach club. Plenty of surrounding activities (ie: horseback riding, animal petting farms, biking, walking trails, great restaurants!). We had perfect weather all week too! Perfect place for our family

Truly enjoyed this villa. Clean and well maintained. It was a perfect location for enjoying all Sea Pines had to offer. A good pressure washing of the deck is needed and was the only item not absolutely perfect. We look forward to our return!

Great location

The location to the beach was good and the rental bikes were great. Issues were A/C upstairs and bed comfort. Those upstairs spent some sleepless nights as they couldn't get cool. Don't plan in using the pull out couch in the loft due to springs. Kitchen was well stocked and the neighborhood was quaint with nice pool.

Excellent location.

House was well maintained & easy access point for our family members daily activities. Only complaint is the 2 bikes that came with the rental were in rough shape with flat tires. Bike rental company never stopped by to fill up the tires after multiple phone calls. Ended up renting bikes because of the issue.

Great location! We loved riding bikes everywhere! I wish we would have known to rent a Beach cart that hooks to the bikes before we got the kids bikes dropped off - The rental place was a far hike to go back and get one! House was well equipped and the owners were very responsive!
