Fantastic location

The house and neighborhood were spectacular and represented as is on this site. Close to El Paseo shopping, golf courses, restaurants & grocery stores. The pool and back yard are the stars of this property, beautiful and quiet - could not have asked for more. The only reason the overall review is 4 and not 5 star is bc the living room furniture (looks great) is very uncomfortable making it impossible to kick back and relax comfortably esp since we stayed for a month. Owners very responsive to any issue.

Desert retreat

This is a beautiful property. The inside of the house is comfortable and spacious and can accommodate a family. The back yard and the pool are very beautiful and there’s a lot of room for swimming and relaxing. The property is beautifully landscaped and the owners are responsive. We had a relaxing, quiet time and plan to come back!

Lovely home with modern in/outdoor design

Very pleasant modern home with exceptional design and comfortable in/outdoor spaces. Generally quiet and great for remote working. Located near hiking and lovely parks with serene mountain views. The kitchen is well-appointed and there are many excellent eateries and shops nearby that deliver and offer curbside pickup.

Hiking in the sun

Clean, comfortable kitchen and stocked with cooking utensils. Backyard is quiet and peaceful. Located with in walking distance of great mountain trails. And that CA sun is a plus.

Perfect getaway in Palm Desert

Our family came out to Palm Desert for close to 3 weeks to escape Chicago and we had an absolutely perfect time. The private pool and hot tub - in the beautiful backyard - made our ability to keep to ourselves perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed as we ate most of our meals at home. There is a playground walking distance to the home and many other parks a short drive away. The location was also excellent - close to many restaurants and shops (although we didn't frequent them, but would be ideal in a non-pandemic situation). The owners were attentive and quick to respond with answers to any questions. In addition, the home was well stocked with toiletries, shampoo/soap, etc. We would 100% stay at this house in the future!!

Property is Clean and Pleasing. Host was super responsive to the small issues we had. We spent a month here, weather was great and the pool - spa are right there in your back yard.

Lovely spot in great location

We made this house our home for a month and were very pleased. The grounds and pool/spa are lovely and well cared for. The location is top notch as it is close to the Living Desert for children and El Pasao for adults. The kitchen was complete and easy to cook in but heat and serve purchased close by was the best idea. For short of long stay - this is a great place .

Perfect home away from home

Debbie's home was well-stocked with spices and essentials in the kitchen. A welcome Prosecco did not go unnoticed, thank you! As well, the bathrooms had everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste if you forgot, first aid items and more. I highly recommend this home for its attention to detail. It says a lot about the hosts. Both the interior and exterior were perfect for relaxing in a variety of settings. We loved the pool with couches and loungers. The neighbourhood was very quiet and so close to everything. Great hikes in one direction and great shopping in the other. There is even a small park at the end of the street. Perfect home away from home.

Christmas in the desert

We spent Christmas of 2019 at this property, and we were very pleased with it. The home is lovely and just like the photos. Everything was very clean, and we appreciated the little extras like power strips by the beds so you can charge your phone and Qtips/cotton balls in the bathrooms. Our favorite part was the pool/spa. We were in it every day despite the cooler weather in December. The heater is very effective and our 6 year old son had a blast. Debbie (the owner) is a pleasure to work with and very responsive; she helped us have a great holiday! I hope to come back soon!

4th of July in Palm Desert

The house is beautiful and exactly like the pictures show. We had a wonderfully relaxing time; enjoying the pool, cooking at home, and sleeping comfortably in the quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located near shopping and dining. The owners and property manager were lovely and responsive. I hope we can go back again soon!

Nice weekend getaway

This house is lovely - just a short hop to town and dining, and less than a hour away from mountains, shade and a pleasant hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. The yard is quiet and private and provides a wonderful oasis from the Palm Desert heat.

Wonderful home in Palm Desert

My family had such a relaxing, fun time staying here. The kids loved the pool, and the house was very comfortable. We appreciated the owners' attention to little details that enhance guests' comfort and fun - pool toys in the garage, great instructions for working household gadgets, local restaurant recs. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood (Living Desert is walking distance - 1.4 miles - through a residential neighborhood) and various activities in Palm Desert/Palm Springs with this terrific property as our home base.

Great stay

We had a lovely stay - the house is nicely updated and in a quiet location just up the hill from El Paseo. The morning sun lights up the large pool, and we used the spa a few times, which heats up in about 30 minutes (after I finally got the instructions right). Nice to have the garage to park the car in, out of the sun. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fabulous time at skyward, the villa was everything and more, we found it very hard to go out and do things as it’s so peaceful and relaxing by the pool everyday and listening to the birds. We will certainly return one day and was hard to leave as the villa is beautiful

Laurie and I purchased our beautiful home on Skyward Way as a future retirement dream come true. We’re still too busy working in Los Angeles to make the move permanent, but we love to spend weekends in Palm Desert soaking in all it has to offer…sunshine on top of the list. Our favorite things to do: swimming at the state of the art aquatic center, hiking in the company of big horn sheep, pretending to play golf at the driving range, grilling steaks for friends in our backyard, playing scrabble, and of course, eating, drinking and shopping on El Paseo. Skyward Way provides us respite from our ‘to do’ lists and endless opportunity for ‘r&r’ - rehearsing for retirement.

This really is a dream house. Having spent over six months looking at real estate we had just about given up when we found Skyward Way and were overjoyed. Location, location, location… there is none better in Palm Desert. The open floor plan and glass sliding doors provide spaciousness, light, and views. The backyard is large, private, and so pretty …perfect for quiet meditation or pool parties. The kitchen is a cook’s delight and an entertainer’s dream. Each of the three bedrooms is welcoming and warm; perfect when you don’t want to leave the comfort of your own bed, and the bathrooms… with their large inviting showers… are simply stunning.

Everything is brand new! From the floors and fireplace to kitchen appliances and eating island to newly appointed bathroom fixtures and flat-screened televisions, our house has all new and modern amenities. Skyward Way, as befitting its name, is spacious, inside and out; providing ample opportunity for both privacy and multiple party areas, curling up with a book on the couch in the living room or taking in the night time starry sky from the Jacuzzi. Walk outside the door and take in the beauty of the mountains in every direction … and if you feel like walking up one, it’s only 10 minutes away.
