Lovely quiet apartment

This is a beautifully furnished, comfortable, extremely quiet apartment, located away from the busy areas of Florence but not too far to walk for those in good health. The kitchen is well-appointed, the bath is spacious, the mattress is excellent. Maurizio, Ms Francesca and Ms Valentina were absolutely welcoming, gracious and efficient. Thank you!

Outstanding

The flat is perfect for short and longer stays in the city, within 30 min You can reach all the important museums and churches. It has a favourable position near the green spaces of the city supported with fresh air and is absolutely calm. The interior is elaborated, the kitchen is well apppointed. European Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Florence and at the flat/apartment. It was excellent; clean, beautifully decorated and with a small courtyard. There was a homemade cake waiting for us on arrival (It was gone the first day.) The host was very quick to answer any questions. It was a little further walk from the tourist section of Florence which we did not mind. Given our carbohydrate intact in Italy, the extra 10 minutes of walking was not only enjoyable, it also allowed us to keep eating the pastries. If I return someday, I would stay there again.

Florence Honeymoon

The property was well managed with the owner living upstairs, which made it easy to navigate logistics. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality after receiving a freshly baked cake upon our arrival. There is a cute garden and table set in the back, however, the summer weather was a bit too buggy for us to enjoy it. The apartment itself is quite a walk from the river and much of the tourist sites - we felt comfortable doing this but were tired at times. There is a local bus should the walk be intimidating for some and there are also local restaurants right outside the wall and right as you enter.

Ideal apartment and location to visit Florence but avoid the crowds

This apartment is in the ideal location for couples who want to explore Florence, but don’t want a holiday driven by the frenetic pace of such a popular tourist location. The setting is peaceful, with a lovely tree-lined walk down to Porta Romano, where, if you wish, you have the choice of a myriad of buses which will take you to different parts of the city. Or you can walk into the centre, as we did, and get a feel for the city before you hit the tourist hotspots. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, an excellent holiday apartment. Attention has been paid to practical details that make life easier; providing detergent for the washing machine, for example, It fully meets the description provided by the owner, which was very pleasing and not always the case. Maurizio was most helpful in communicating with us prior to our stay and Francesca speaks English, so was there to advise, should we need any support. We had a lovely visit to Florence and would recommend this apartment.

Bobolino Garden Apartment stay

This apartment was large and lovely. My husband and I were particularly pleased that it was on the bottom floor and we did not have to navigate stairs to access it. The floor was made of pink granite and was beautiful. It had everything you needed: a nice bedroom and wardrobe to store your clothes, a large sitting area with TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, and good size bathroom. It is further out being against the Bobolino Gardens, but the walkway to the main street into Florence was gardened and enjoyable to walk. My husband and I like to walk, so did not find it a hindrance, but some might. The nicest thing about the place is the proprietress, Francesca, who was delightful and helpful, and made us the most delicious welcome cake. If we ever had the opportunity to visit Florence again, we would not hesitate to stay at this property. Thanks to Maurizio and his family for making this property available.

Peaceful Location

We arrived by car. Francesca met us and after unloading our luggage she took us to the garage behind the apartment. Our car was safely locked away. A delicious cake baked by Francesca was sitting on the kitchen table when we arrived. The apartment was clean and spacious for the two of us. We were able to do laundry, and typical in Italy we made sure to have time to air dry our clothes. There was air conditioning which made our stay very comfortable. The WiFi worked and there was plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the private garden just outside the kitchen. As far as location, there were plenty of walking distance restaurants and a grocery store within 10 minutes nearby. We walked from our apartment across the Ponte Vecchio bridge into the historic area near the Duomo in about 30 minutes. Last but not least, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens were a 5-10 minute walk from our apartment. A sight definitely worth seeing! We highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

Gepflegte Wohnung in Florenz

Sehr schöne, gut eingerichtete und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Wohnung im Grünen und völlig ruhig gelegen. Der kleine private Garten mit Sitzgruppe ist ein Highlight. Unser Auto konnten wir in der Garage sicher abstellen. Die Mutter von Maurizio hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und sogar mit einem selbstgebackenen delikaten Kuchen begrüßt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Excellent location et perfect appartment

L'appartement était parfait pour un couple, avec tout le nécessaire même un petit jardin. Francesca est adorable et nous a rendu de bons services surtout pour obtenir des taxis. En plus, elle nous avait préparé un bon gâteau à notre arrivée. Étant en retrait du centre-ville, il était bon de se reposer du brouhaha des touristes. 10 mins de marche des Jardins Boboli et 30 mins des grandes attractions de Florence. Deux superbes restaurants à moins de 10 mins de marche aussi: La Terraza del Principe et le Chalet Fontana. Grazie Francesca !

Como en casa

Muchas gracias a Francesca, que fue discreta pero atenta al minimo detalle!! Una linda casa con todo lo necesario. No necesitamos utilizar el auto ya que pudimos hacer todo a pie, pues está bien situada. Una dirección a conservar. Grazie mille per il dolce Francesca, buonissimo !! Buona fortuna!!

Tolle Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet und befindet sich ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Porta Romana entfernt. Die Buslinien 12 und 13, die regelmäßig verkehren, sind nur 3 Minuten entfernt (Tickets für 1,50 im gesamten Stadtgebiet, einschließlich Fiesole). Die Abwicklung war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

Eine Perle in Florenz

Bei solch einer wunderbaren Wohnung mit dem schönen kleinen Garten fühlt man sich gleich wohl. Für den herzliche Empfang mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten möchten wir Signora Francesca nochmals danken. Wir konnten uns gleich zuhause fühlen. Die ruhige Lage der Wohnung - am Rande großer Parks, die zum Spazieren einladen - ist Gold wert. In der Umgebung der Porta Romana (10 Min. Fußweg) kann man alles besorgen und in die Stadt kann man auch zu Fuß gehen, muss man aber nicht, denn an der Ecke der Via del Bobolino (150 m) hält der Bus (Linie 13 stadteinwärts und Linie 12 zurück). Bei dieser Wohnung fällt der Abschied von Florenz besonders schwer...

Great apartment, great location, great hosts

Perfect apartment for Florence. A short walk from Porto Antico, which is a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Very peaceful and well appointed apartment and Francesca actually made us a meal with a glass of wine when we arrived late and tired. When minor issues or questions came up, we simply send a WhatsApp message and we got a immediate response I would rent again

Rust in Firenze

Schitterende en rustige locatie met garage en dat op wandelafstand van het centrum. Appartement zelf is ruim, gezellig en mooi ingericht. In de keuken vind je alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben. We werden heel vriendelijk verwelkomd door Mevr. Francesca met een heerlijke bosbessencake! Een adresje om te onthouden voir een volgend bezoek aan deze geweldige stad!

fantastisch vakantie verblijf

Dit huis, de ligging, de vriendelijke gastvrouw, de inrichting, de tuin en de garage...echt een aanrader! Zeer rustig, compleet en aangenaam, ook met een temperatuur rond 35 graden. Het énige wat wij misten was een waterkoker😊

Joli appartement au calme très bien placé

L'appartement proposé par Maurizio est très bien et très joli. Très sécurisé, au calme avec un joli petit jardin privé tout en étant proche de la ville à pied. L'accès en voiture est assez facile et la mise à disposition d'un garage est très appréciable. Dans le descriptif de l'annonce il est noté à un endroit qu'il y a 2 chambres et à un autre qu'il y en a une ce qui peut porter à confusion. Peut-être corriger l'annonce pour noter qu'il y a une chambre + un convertible dans le salon-salle à manger. Autre point appréciable, la présence de Francesca dans l'appartement au dessus et son amabilité.

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood

Our stay in Florence was lovely and our accommodation was great. The homemade muffins were an especially nice treat for the children upon arrival. Our host was very helpful with regards to the surrounding area and was on-hand the whole week should we need anything. The couple of things that I feel I should mention are as follows: 1) The address HomeAway gives for the apartment is wrong, it's actually just down the street from where we were told and 2) the apartment has 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, it's not a 2 bedroom place like the description said when we booked. Aside of those couple of things, our stay was great and we would hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

A perfect haven in Florence

We loved Maurizio’s beautiful apartment on a quiet, green street away from the bustle but within easy walking distance of all the beautiful sights. The apartment is so comfortable and well-appointed with everything we needed for cooking several meals and sleeping utterly peacefully. The garden was beautiful & Signora Francesca’s muffins were the best ever! Thank you for making our first visit to Florence so delightful!

Un séjour délicieux!

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans cet appartement très agréable, calme, tranquille et très propre. Après une journée passée dans les rues de Florence, il est très appréciable de retrouver un logement dans lequel on se sent bien car spacieux pour les 3 personnes et le quartier est calme et reposant. L'appartement est lumineux et le petit jardin est un plus tout comme le garage mis à disposition des hôtes. Nous reviendrons très certainement l'année prochaine!

Posizione Fantastica

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza da sogno, squisita l'accoglienza della signora Francesca, che ci ha accolti con le sue prelibatezze culinarie Toscane. La casa è in una posizione strategica vicinissima al centro e ad ogni necessità… immersa nella tranquillità e nel verde dei bellissimi giardini di Boboli. Utilissimo il garage.
