El Capuchino (también conocido como mono de cara blanca) es un apartamento de alquiler de 2 dormitorios y parte de la villa Castillo de Amber. Toda la villa es de 4 niveles, con la piscina y el área de barbacoa en el nivel más bajo. El Capuchino (anteriormente 'Jurate Suite') está en el segundo nivel por debajo del área de estacionamiento, idealmente ubicado entre la entrada y el área de la piscina.

El apartamento consta de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños, y tiene capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente. El dormitorio principal es espacioso, con una cama king, baño privado, vestidor, vista al mar y balcón privado. La habitación cuenta con 2 camas individuales, baño privado y vista al mar. Hay una cocina completa y bien equipada con todos los electrodomésticos principales, y también un gran balcón cubierto con vista al mar para cenar. La piscina es enorme, con una fuente decorativa, tumbonas y cocina en el área de la piscina, completa con una parrilla de barbacoa.

El Castillo de Amber tiene una ubicación muy céntrica en Manuel Antonio, a pocos minutos de la playa y el parque nacional. Cerca hay numerosos excelentes restaurantes, bares, tiendas y un banco. Se incluyen: El Avión, Agua Azul, Barba Roja, Café Milagro, Emilio's y Lush. El transporte público pasa cerca cada 30 minutos para Quepos y la playa / parque nacional.

El alquiler incluye servicio de limpieza diario, aire acondicionado, wifi, cable y servicio de conserjería.

I couldnt have been more happy with this property. It is well maintained, the view is breathtaking, and the Master Bedroom is spacious. This place is top notch and very clean. I must also mention that the housekeeper does an amazing job from turndown service to all the little details. The concierge Vanessa is an amaxing resource to have as well. This place is the best!!!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!

Nicely laid out with great views of the lake. Tons of great restaurants nearby and close to Manuel Antonio NP. We had Capuchin Monkeys visit the pool area and saw a couple Mccaws in a tree in the direction of the lake. The pool was relaxing and there's a bar with 4 stools which face the ocean. We occupied the 3rd floor, which has separate entry doors from the patio area, which made it easy to navigate and allow others to sleep if necessary, while you enjoy the outside views. The parking lot of the Yolo Resturant, across he street from the road exit, offered a far better Capuchin and Howler Monkey experience than the NP itself. The road leading to the property was well guarded at night and we felt very safe.

Absolute dream. Extremely walkable around MA and easy drives everywhere else. Jasmin, Kent, Vanessa and Marvin (and of course, Seth the Sloth) were amazing hosts and incredibly helpful. We loved spending all hours on the balcony, in the pool, and when we needed space, the separated bedrooms were perfect. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to MA! Pura Vida!

The pictures of the property are exactly as advertised. The views are awesome. The locations is minutes from everywhere in Manuel Antonio. The owner went our of her may to make sure we felt like we were at home and even offered to grocery shop for us before arrival. I also rent vacation properties in FL and very picky about my vacation experiences. IT DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is a very short drive to the national park and beach ( you can walk, but you are at the top of the hill! ) We were able to see “Seth” the sloth every day in his tree. The pool was clean, but definitely needs to be re-tiled or surfaced. We were in the El Capuchin, it is three separate living spaces (kitchen, large bedroom/bathroom/living room, and bedroom/bathroom) all connected by an outdoor patio with spectacular views. The patio has a lockable door to the outside which makes this nice for families with older kids or two families vacationing together. The rooms are very spacious, the main bedroom has a massive walk-in closet! Jasmine checked in with us each morning with clean towels and garbage bags. I highly recommend Restaurante El Cerdo Feliz. It is a short drive, , the food was excellent, the service was great and it was about 30% less than the touristy restaurants on the Main Street. Lots of great options all around. We also had very pleasant neighbors in the other units. We certainly recommend Castillo de Amber.

Good Things To Say

We were so excited about this trip and the stay in the Jurate Suite. Vanessa, the building concierge, contacted us pre-arrival with lots of helpful information, and helped us with transportation planning, grocery orders/delivery, and tour bookings. All was set! and then 12 hours before our flight to Costa Rica the unthinkable happened. My husband had a stroke, was in the hospital and couldn't travel. I had to cancel the trip. The property owners/management communicated with me right away, and were amazingly kind and supportive. So, I just wanted people to know that this was such an amazing experience, even in the face of a traumatic situation, and they handled it so well. This is an atypical review, in that we didn't actually get to stay in the Jurate Suite as planned. But I am looking forward to re-booking this vacation, staying at this property, and meeting these wonderful people in person so I can thank them. Mil gracias a todos!

This is an amazing oasis in the hills on route to Manuel Antonio National Park. We loved the villa and the incredible views of the ocean and small offshore islands. The pool was amazing and very refreshing after a long day of exploring. The master bedroom is very romantic and the huge balcony provides a great spot for dinners, reading books or relaxing to the sounds of birds and monkeys. The kitchen is also very well stocked. We would stay here again!

Overall an excellent stay at El Capuccin! The unit has a beautiful ocean view and the balcony was spacious with ample seating areas for relaxing. The overhead fans were very much appreciated!! The pool was perfect for a refreshing swim and there was enough shade to relax and read a book or have an afternoon nap!We were visited by capuccin and squirrel monkeys, 2 beautiful parrots spent early evenings in a tree just off the balcony, and howler monkeys were heard (but not seen)Restaurants and grocery shopping close by ( walking or by car) and a short drive to Manuel Antonio park.Beds were comfy, the unit was clean and well kept, staff we met were friendly and helpful.We would definitely recommend this rental!!

The house is amazing. The view is unbelievable. Bonus having housekeeping. The Capuchin monkeys visiting us on the balcony was over the top. Be aware the rooms on the middle level are separate connected by an outdoor hall,which we enjoyed feeling more outdoors. Very kind staff and well kept property.

A wonderful vacation!

My partner and I stayed here in July and had a great time. The apartment is part of a larger villa with 4 apartments--but is small enough to feel like a B&B, and very private. The views are spectacular, and the pool area is ideal. We spent the majority of the time lounging around the pool (there's a fridge, bbq grill and sink there), listening to Manuel Obregon on the stereo--very relaxing!

Perfect Condo for Our Trip to CR

The entire experience with this rental was amazing and I would recommend this listing to anyone who is looking to travel to Manuel Antonio. First, Heather is truly an exceptional point of contact. She was very flexible with our arrival and departure time. She is quick to respond to email and it was easy to work with her on booking, arrival and departure. The unit itself is ideal for 2 couples which was our situation. Each couple had their own private room with full bathroom but there was also a common area by the master bedroom and a shared kitchen. We didn't utilize the common room much but the kitchen had all the utensils needed for cooking. We spent the majority of our time on the balcony which spans the length of the unit and has AMAZING views of the jungle, ocean and coast. We spent about an hour watching monkeys bound from tree to tree in the jungle below. The pool is clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the jungle below. When we weren't at the beach we were at the pool! There are plenty of small restaurants in the area and some are within walking distance. We had a rental car so we were just a couple minute drive away from the main beach as well as Manuel Antonio National Park. The town of Quepos is a few minutes away as well which has grocery stores, gas, etc. If you're going to stay here I'd recommend having a rental car for easy access to the surrounding areas. There was a house keeper than came each day we were there except for Sunday. She cleaned the units and did laundry which was a huge help. The only suggestion I had for this place was a BBQ for the pool area but while we were there Heather informed us that the BBQ would be purchased after we left. Adding a BBQ to the unit makes it the complete package as it already has powerful wifi. Amazing unit in an amazing part of the country. Would recommend it 10 times out of 10 for anyone looking for an ideal living space during their stay.
