Quite lovely great location

Have been to Venice 5x prior This apt was perfect for a group of 5 Lots of steps but we are used to that the only issue we had was we never had any English channels in the red living room Just wanted to catch the news Matilda was awesome checking us in The apt was very Venetian which we loved the last apt was a bit tooo modern for us so this set a perfect mood for the entire trip Best location ever as we were only steps from san Marco but on a quiet courtyard Will definitely stay here on our next visit !!!!

Fantastico!

We LOVED this apartment and Matilde who checked us in and gave us the information we needed. Wifi and laundry, excellent location, exceptional decor and size. We did not mind the 3rd floor walk up. We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed the restaurant by the church of miracles. I'll have to look again at the name, but it was great. There was also a great shop for masks near by the apartment that was just before the first bridge on our way back to the Grande Canal. Excellent, excellent place to stay!!

Wonderful stay!

This apartment was perfect for our family of five. The location is excellent, steps from St Marks Square. It’s off a quiet square which is nice. The unit is clean, nicely air conditioned, and the beds are comfortable. There are three bedrooms and a washing machine which is helpful. The bathrooms are spacious and the showers are great. The views from the windows are charming. As other reviewers have mentioned, it’s on the third floor and there’s no elevator so there are a lot of stairs to navigate. However, this wasn’t a problem for us. Communication with the host was great. I would recommend this property and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely, lovely apartment

A very lovely apartment on a very quiet, small square, but only 100 feet from a busy walkway and less than 200 yards from Piazza San Marco. Very nicely furnished. The owner's daughter in-in-law met us at the vaporetto stop and guided us to the apartment. She, Matilde, was very friendly and helpful. Again, the location was superb. There is one negative. There are 48 fairly steep stairs to the apartment. My wife and I are close to 70 and negotiated them without difficulty, just be aware.

This was a great place for 2 couples

We were surprised by the large size of this double apartment. There were 2 bedrooms with double beds (one with an extra single bed), 2 showers, 2 family rooms and even 2 kitchens! For us and our friends it worked out very well to be able to spend time together in one place or separate for our different schedules. It was clean, well appointed and met all of our needs. Having washer & dryer capabilities was a nice convenience for us. Matilde was the one who met us at the boat and led us to the apartment, gave us all the particulars, and was a pleasure to talk with and answered all of out questions. We loved her enthusiasm and she knew the place well. This is extremely close to St. Marks Square, but not in a congested area. There were quite a few steps up to the apartment without a lift, I believe it was 50 something steps, but we had good spirits about it because we knew that we needed the exercise to off-set the wine and gelato we would be consuming! Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
