Esta impresionante villa está situada sobre la ciudad de Almuñécar con unas vistas increíbles del mar y el campo circundante. La casa principal tiene 2 dormitorios dobles y 2 cuartos de baño con ducha, y ambos dormitorios tienen puertas que dan a las terrazas.Las zonas de estar/comedor y cocina han sido modernizadas recientemente y son confortables con todo el equipamiento necesario para garantizar que disfrute de su estancia. Hay puertas de patio desde el salón hacia las amplias terrazas soleadas con numerosos espacios para disfrutar de una comida al aire libre. En esta terraza hay una gran barbacoa de gas y también una terraza acristalada para comer cuando el clima es un poco adverso.Unos escalones conducen a la gran piscina (8 x 4 metros) y a la cocina exterior y zona de asientos. La piscina tiene una cubierta solar que proporciona algo de calor dependiendo del clima. También existe la posibilidad de calentar la piscina con una bomba de calor eléctrica con un coste adicional.Junto a la terraza de la piscina hay un apartamento adicional de un dormitorio y un baño, ideal para abuelos, niñera o adolescentes.La casa principal y el apartamento tienen aire acondicionado/calefacción en ambos dormitorios y en el salón. También hay calefacción por suelo radiante en los salones de la villa y del apartamento.Hay wifi de alta velocidad gratuito y televisión interactiva Apple.La casa está a 1,6 km de la playa de Almuñécar, donde hay numerosos bares, restaurantes y tiendas.

Amazing view

We had a lovely stay in this Villa (June 2023) 4 adults and a toddler. The photos were exactly as we expected. Beautiful location set up on the hillside with wonderful views for miles in both directions. Peaceful area to relax. You need to drive to any near by areas as nothing is in walking distance but that was fine for us. Good location to explore further afield. The addition of the extra sleeping area by the pool was perfect for additional family members who didn’t want an early waking from a noisy toddler. Pool was lovely and clean. Rachel was on hand and very responsive when we needed something sorting. The additional kids buckets/spades/bats & balls & inflatables were welcomed too, as you can only pack so much. A lovely welcome hamper of essentials were also there for us on arrival. Thank you Rachel 😊

Très belle villa avec vue

Nous avons passé de très bons moments en famille, la villa est très bien équipée, la piscine, le barbecue, les terrasses, tout est bien pensé pour passer de belles vacances. Je recommande cette location et j’y retournerai avec plaisir.

La villa a tout se qu’il faut vue magnifique très gros point négatif pas de place pour se stationner ont doit se stationner sur la route qui fait directement sur un virage grosse voiture à oublier !!! Et les lit trop petit matela inconfortable ! Les espagnols loco de laba sont raciste mal accueilli à éviter la ville plage très sale !!!!!! Super moche !!!! Ont a dit allez dans d’autre ville comme malaga qui sont très accueillant .

Beautiful villa in tranquil surroundings

5 of us stayed here in August . The villa is beautiful with Stunning views .amazing pool which has a bar and a steam room ,there’s also table tennis & a BBQ. I had an issue with the front door not locking and Racheal sent a maintenance guy round straight away and the problem was fixed. I think you would benefit from renting a car but be prepared for some steep mountain roads or it’s €10 euro to main town or the marina..all round a great holiday and I’d book again.

De woning is ruim en heeft schitterende uitzichten. De woning is goed uitgerust, alles is voorzien, van vaatwastabletten tot zilverpapier en kruiden toe. Halverwege ons verlof werden onze lakens ververst en werden nieuwe handdoeken voorzien. De sleutels van de woning zaten in een kluisje aan de ingang van de vakantiewoning, maar dit werd ons niet gecommuniceerd. Na een kort telefoontje met de verantwoordelijke werd dit snel opgelost. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Traumhafte Villa mit super Aussicht.

Unser 10 Tage Urlaub mit unserer 3- jährigen Tochter fehlte es an nichts. Super Lage und ganz tolle Aussicht auf der grossen Terasse. Tolle Ausstattung und sehr gepflegte Einrichtung mit Top Küche runden unseren ganz tollen Eindruck ab. Wir waren mit Allem mehr als Zufrieden und empfehlen dieses Objekt sehr gerne weiter... Fantastisch!

Dit huis is super! Er staat een nieuwe keuken in met alles wat je nodig hebt. Zelfs ingrediënten die je veel nodig hebt zijn voorzien. Het terras gaf een heerlijk ontspannend gevoel omdat je zicht hebt op de bergen, op de zee en op de stad. Zo’n zicht kom je niet vaak tegen. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Beautiful villa location, stunning views, villa itself needs a bit of work

Firstly, overall we had a great time staying in the villa (1 week Oct/Nov 2018). However, we had some issues with the electricity tripping out certain circuits whenever it rained (unfortunately the circuit tripping contained the cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, lights, TV and WiFi) that meant some evenings had to be planned a bit differently (candles are cosy anyway, aren't they?). The floor heating in the Living Room/Kitchen/Dining kept bringing up faults and only worked some of the time. Both issues were reported and people came to try and fix but could not be resolved by the time our visit was finished. There was also an issue with rain-water leaking into the 'apartment'/'pool-house' (this was NOT pointed out at the time to Rachel). It was okay but notable that the bathrooms in the villa (and 'apartment'/'pool-house') were of an age and not to the same standard as other areas of the house (particularly the kitchen, which was very modern and high-spec). I would give 5* in terms of Customer Service and the response provided by Rachel (and 5* for the villa location and the views it offers) but feel that the villa itself could be greatly improved by better electrics and updated bathrooms. The last two may be 'a Spanish thing' but I have to call it as I see it.

Great house, stunning views and plenty room for a family of 6

We had 2 great weeks in the house - 4 adults and 2 kids. Everything was as expected, however the bathrooms are very small. It's a shame you can't take a walk/hike anywhere but always need to go by car, but that's probably the consequence when you have a house placed in the hills with unbelievable views. Will definitely recommend this property to both family (with older kids because of the stairs going down to the pool area) and couples without kids.

Excellent with amazing views!

A lovely villa in a lovely area. Pool area was outstanding. Very well-equipped and situated. The views are not done justice in the pictures. My little boy loved star-gazing in the night (we saw Mars). The town is very nice with good selection of restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket. The old town was pretty and the beaches plentiful. Kitchen was very good and the indoor space was comfortable. The bathrooms are dated (as other reviewers have noted) but perfectly functional. All-in-all a wonderful way to spend 10 days. Perfect for families or couples going away together. Would highly recommend.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Ingesamt ist es ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus . Super Küche , das Haus ist groß und geräumig mit Klimaanlagen und Gase vor den Fenstern . Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren auch gleich in der Nähe . Der einzige Kritikpunkt waren ein zeitweise nicht funktionierendes WLAN bzw. Internet . Aber die Bearbeitung des Problems wurde schnell und unkompliziert vorgenommen . Die Idee mit dem schlüsselkasten vor der Tür gefiel uns sehr gut . Für meinen Geschmack war der Pool zu warm aber wer 30 Grad Wassertemperatur mag für den ist ideal . Wir würden wieder kommen ...Ro

Stunning Views

Lovely large house. All rooms were spacious. However the double room was separate and should be described more as a pool house. Amazing views of the sea, great sunsets. Taxi into town was under 10euros, you would find the steep incline difficult to walk. Wifi not working until the last day which made arranging tourist activities difficult. Terrible shower, only mildly warm. Bathrooms and bedrooms could be cleaner. We found rubbish in the corners of the rooms. Limited toilet paper supply, you had to provide the rest. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Good stay in Casa Melina

Very good contact with Rachel via email. Some present in the fridge when we arrive. The house is very good (large kitchen, good living room with a small TV and Apple box) Internet access seems to work but the dl/up is poor. The bedroom and bathroom are the oldest rooms of the house. The second house is perfect for a second couple. And last, but not the least, the swimming pool is amazing. We spend a very good stay in this house. For sure, we will come back ...

Beautiful environment and views

The outside areas and surroundings are amazing! However the house itself was not clean and I cleaned it myself on our first day. But before I could start I had to clean out the entire inside of the vacuum cleaner and filter which were overflowing with dust and dirt. The kitchen is nice and up to date but the beds and bathrooms are old (shower really small), shower curtain had mold on it so I had to clean that myself as well. Overall we enjoyed our vacation as we were on the go a lot (location is really central and thus easy to go to other cities like Nerja, Granada, Malaga) and we loved the cities of Almuñécar and La Herradura. If only the property would be more maintained we would definitely come back for another visit in the future!

Super

Très belle endroit pour profiter du soleil, de la magnifique piscine chauffée et de tout le confort de la cuisine et du salon. Des terrasses merveilleuses avec une vue exceptionnelle. La seule remarque un peu négative : les deux douches à l'intérieur sont un peu dépassées. N'hésitez pas à réserver cette villa.
