La Luna Llena, ubicada en Playa Hermosa (hermosa playa), se encuentra en el extremo norte más tranquilo de Santa Teresa. La Luna Llena se construyó a medida en 2010 como nuestra escapada: ahora descubrimos que no estamos allí tan a menudo como nos gustaría, ¡así que lo compartiremos con ustedes! Situado en el extremo norte de Santa Teresa en una zona más tranquila. La luna llena es perfecta para 4 adultos o una pequeña familia (limitada a) de 5. Ambas habitaciones están amuebladas con una cama queen (y una con una cama individual también), y ambas tienen su propio baño en el jardín. (Vea nuestro 1 dormitorio Half Moon # 989649, que está en nuestra propiedad para acomodaciones adicionales) Completas comodidades del hogar, pero no es su hogar, ¡es su escapada latinoamericana! La gran sala de estar es de concepto abierto con una gran cocina muy bien equipada. ¡Eche un vistazo al inmenso bar! Una mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6-8, con su banquete incorporado, por lo que puede invitar a amigos que conoció en la playa para cenar. Cómodamente amueblado para una experiencia verdaderamente relajada de América Latina. Hay aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones y ventiladores de techo, la cocina está totalmente equipada - refrigerador, estufa / horno, microondas, etc. Me encanta nuestra enorme cubierta de teca para tomar el aire sofocante y dormitar, leer o mirar a los monos, loros, colibríes, iguanas, etc. Hermosas líneas de bambú partido cada techo en el hogar. ¡No hay alarmas necesarias! ¡Los monos aulladores lo visitan, a veces dos veces al día! Tropa a lo largo de las copas de los árboles y pastan en las hojas y las flores de los árboles de la propiedad. Puede llamar para obtener servicios de chef, masajes, yoga privado o instrucciones de Pilates, organizar clases de surf, montar a caballo en una granja ecológica cercana, dar un paseo y descubrir por qué construimos en esta hermosa zona de Costa Rica. Nuestra área fue presentada en la revista New York Times Style. Viaje en mayo de 2016.

Great location!

We had the best stay at the Full Moon! The house was comfortable and well-appointed with indoor and outdoor areas to relax. The outdoor showers were lovely! The best part of our stay, though, was the location - away from the bustle of Santa Teresa, and a short walk to the beach. We were able to rent surf boards and get lessons right across the street and then come back later for lunch at the Cafe. It was an excellent week of surfing at Playa Hermosa! For dinner out, we highly recommend Atardecer Dorado in Manzanillo. The food is great and they have the best ocean views of any restaurant we went to.

Great location!

The Full Moon is a very clean and spacious property in a great location. It is a very close walk to a beautiful swimming and surfing beach where you can walk for miles in both directions. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Amazing property 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Full moon is a wonderful space with every possible kitchen amenity, great showers and bathrooms, air conditioning in all the rooms what you really need here in Costa Rica, directly across the street from a cafe that is pretty good that serves breakfast and lunch. The property is spacious and clean and well stocked with everything you would probably want almost as good as a luxury hotel. I sat on the deck and watched an iguana camouflaged in a branch watching me. For the most part the property is quiet. It is located on the beach access road behind a private gate. The property manager or concierge is named is Kristi. She went out of her way to help with any requests that I had. Including dropping me off downtown to rent a bike. She is very friendly and speaks English well. She did everything she could to make my stay comfortable and she responded very quickly to any questions I had. The villa does not have any views of the ocean but you can hear it with the doors open. Also in case you're looking for a smaller place Denise the owner also rents another studio with bathroom and fully stocked kitchen on the same property for a little bit less money. This is also a very cute place. And by the way, the internet works great. Anyway it's a wonderful property and I strongly recommend it.

What a perfect house for a costa rica get away. The location, within a short walking distance of the beach, but very private and across the street from our favorite breakfast and lunch spot, the house is beautiful with great outdoor showers and roomy living areas. Definately would recommend

Great spot!

We went without a lot of plans , but there is a lot to see on this peninsula and this house was about 400 yards from a beautiful beach and a great place to relax. Recommend renting quads too. Great way to get around.

Excellent location and a wonderful experience for my family

I spent a week with my family in this lovely home and we could have stayed a month or more... close to the beach with everything you need close by. The surfing was amazing. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect home base for a week in paradise!

We stayed at Denise's lovely home for a week for a family vacation. The house is really well laid out for two adults and two kids, and it had everything we needed and more. The location is absolutely incredible, just a few minutes to walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with a cafe and surf shop right across the street. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The property is special. Very clean and fully equipped. Right across from a fantastic cafe and surf shop. A local grocery is close by for quick groceries. Denise and Will are amazing people and Kristi and Casey were awesome and always close by to help.

Great location and very spacious

Just a two minute walk from Hermosa Beach, this house is ideal for surfers and sun lovers. My family enjoyed our stay and the convenience of having the beach so close, a cafe across the street and a small grocery store around the corner.

Loved our stay at Full Moon

We were very comfortable, enjoyed mornings and evenings out on the deck, refreshing a/c mid day. We surfed each morn and evening, easy walk to beach, loved the easy access at Playa Hermosa. As a beginner it was the perfect place to learn. Board rentals right next door, so easy. Ate in a few times, easy trip to restaurants, casual or upscale, whatever you choose. Everyone was so nice, we totally enjoyed our stay. Thanks Denise for sharing your great place!

Excellent Home in Perfect Location

We spent an amazing week at this home and have nothing but praise. A lovely, fully equipped house with every convenience. Five minute walk to excellent beach, good restaurant across the street and great café next door. Colourful town Santa Teresa, very ugly, but so interesting. We were well taken care of, very comfortable and enjoyed the surroundings. Yes, roads are beyond belief, but that can also be an adventure.

Nature!

We really enjoyed our stay at Full Moon House. We were greeted by Denise who was very accommodating and hospitable to my family. I would like to take the time and say thank you for being generous and flexible with us. We really appreciated the attention and letting us stay in your home. We were put in contact with property managers Noelia and Kristi who told us about local restaurants and about a nice tide pool located close by. You’ll have to ask them where that is. :) The kids were able to see tiny lobsters, shrimp, fish, etc in the pools. The property is beautiful and nestled into the mature palm and banana trees. The bamboo ceilings of the house are a nice architectural touch that make the house one with nature. The outside showers were also a reminder that you are definitely in a tropical place. We loved hearing the howler monkeys in the distance as well as the various species of birds that would fly by the area and take over tree tops. The house is several minutes away from downtown Santa Teresa which was perfect for my family. We didn’t want the night time noise of the crowds, cars, dirt bikes, ATVs. Instead, we got to listen to various insects, lizards etc. with the occasional rooster crow. Across the street you have Couleur Café which is French owned restaurant. We had a couple of meals there. They serve dinner only twice a week when we went. Tiamat Surf Lodge is literally steps down the road (on your way to the Playa Hermosa). They have good prices for rentals and also serve food. My son and I received lessons for 1.5 hours and were able to keep the surf boards for longer. All in all it was a great vacation and loved Full Moon House. Pura Vida Denise, Noelia and Kristi.

Second time around.

As usual the stay at Full Moon house was relaxing, rejuvinating and well worth the drive from Liberia! There were a few hiccups, but we all managed to deal with them and get into the Costa Rican groove. Denise and Will are great owners that care and communicate. A wonderful asset when renting a home. Their caretakers Noelia and Kristi are so awesome, always around to help or answer any questions. We really enjoyed our second time down there as we felt like we were part of the community this time. Couleur Cafe is the best and right across the street. The beach is peaceful and inviting. We had fresh coconut water every day there and met locals that have become friends. We will all go back as soon as we can! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Loved it.

Great house. Great location. Great host. This is a beautiful, well-furnished home a short walk from the beach. All the rooms are air conditioned and the wifi works well. We had a problem with a shower head and it was fixed right away. We feel lucky we got to enjoy the waves and stay here.

Relaxing house

Great place in playa Hermosa. The beach is a few minutes from Santa Teresa and is very quiet. The home is a 3 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful. Good beach for kids - soft waves on the shore - and great all round location. The house is very good. The whole place is filled with windows which keep it bright all day long. The kitchen is great (all items are there), The rooms are good (two suites) and a nice balcony. The bathrooms have a "sky windows" which is great, but the shower heads are not the best. They provide towels which is great (not the newest ones but you are at the beach). A lot of monkeys, lizards and birds all round the property all the way to the house. Loved the home and location. The manager around is great and helps on any occasion. One supermarket about 5 minutes around and two restaurants right next to the spot. One room had some dirt from the roof but nothing much to complain. The owners are very helpful and available. Can´t go wrong.

This is the place!!!

What a gem! Let's start with the location: Hermosa beach lives up to it's name and more. Perfect for surfing or any other ocean recreation you could possibly imagine. Close enough yet far enough away from Santa Theresa. This house is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. It's spacious with an open floor plan that makes life feel free and easy. Open the large sliding doors out onto the deck for relaxing in the evening and listen to the waves. The beds are comfy. The bathrooms have outdoor showers that work well. Their staff are helpful, friendly, and professional. Everyone we met in the area was as cool and sweet as can be. Really, I don't think we could have possibly had a better experience. I highly recommend this house!

Pura Vida!! Our Best Family Spring Break Ever!

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome at The Full Moon home. We were greeted by Noelia and she showed us all around the beautiful, spacious home. We were also lucky to meet Will when we arrived and he even gave us a delicious dinner to cook since the markets were already closed! Our family had such a great time spending most of our days at the beautiful nearby beaches and relaxing in the afternoon at the house before heading down to the beach again for sunset. Kristi and Noelia kept in touch with us the entire time we were there and helped us do all the activities we wanted. Our family really enjoyed horseback riding and zip lining! The house was very clean & so comfortable for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals at home! We had such a fantastic family spring break!! Thank you so much Denise and Will! We can't wait to return next year!

Perfect Getaway for a Family of 4

Loved this house!!! We stayed here in December and had a wonderful family vacation. The home is close to the beach (only a 5 minute walk), it's clean, has AC which allowed a welcomed break from the mid day heat. The home has two bedrooms and a spacious living room area. It's not large but it's all you really need. The house is right next to a fabulous cafe - really fresh ingredients and healthy food, smoothies and cocktails. The surf shop across the street has surf boards for rent and they can set up lessons for you too. Noelia is the property manager and she lives right next door should you need anything. Denise, the owner, was really easy to work with and I had several lovely email exchanges with her. The house has a great sized patio to sit and read a book and sip coffee in the morning. Overall, we loved it here!! Great house at a great price.

Fantastic location and Welcoming home

I first have to say that it's hard for me to write this review because I don't really want to share the house and location with anyone else! What a fantastic first trip to Costa Rica for us. While our drive to Full Moon house was adventurous to say the least with the dirt roads and pot holes. Once there it was the best hidden gem we could have hoped for. Greeted by Kristi when we arrived was wonderful and welcoming. The house was clean, and was as if it was waiting for us. The short walk to the beach (3-4min tops) is easy with Monkeys in the trees, Iguanas lounging on branches or on the side of the road and flowers on the bushes. Playa Hermosa is a vast white sand beach , with perfect waves for body surfing, boogie boards or surfing. At any given time there were no more than 60 people visible on a 3 or 4 km beach. The only minus to this particular beach is that there isn't tons of shade to set your towel on. So we ventured about 10 min to the right and found a great beach with Mangrove trees that hung over the sand to give you shade when the sun just got to hot. Full moon is situated right next door to a wonderful café called Couleur Café that serves dinner Mon and Tues evenings and breakfast and lunches the other times. Friendly staff and amazing food! Across the street from Full Moon is a small surf shop where you can rent boards for the day! Kristi and Noelia ( caretakers of Full Moon) are great "go to" ladies for anything you may need and Denise and Will are great owners also with a wealth of knowledge. The Kitchen has pretty much all you need for cooking, maybe a few more serving bowls for salads and such but nothing we couldn't figure out. While alot of people may not want to cook on their holiday, we found it to be less expensive than going out for every meal. With fresh local fish why wouldn't you cook!! Will has said that there will be a new BBQ soon which will be a great addition to the rental. Bathrooms were so cool, as the shower is outside and you literally can see the monkeys overhead in the trees while you shower! If you are contemplating renting this fabulous home, don't hesitate any longer. You cannot go wrong! Don't forget to make sure to see the sunset every night down at the beach, it will take your breath away!! Thanks Denise and Will for sharing your wonderful Costa Rican home with us! The most legitimate and unforgettable Santa Teresa experience!

Staying at the Full Moon house in Santa Teresa was the best decision we could have made. The house is beautiful - located in a very quiet setting where there is guaranteed relaxation as well as a very welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by one of the owner's who made us feel extremely welcome as well as shared some very important insight on best surf brakes and times. The house is very open, with a large living room that during the day is able to keep cool while the temperature outside is skyrocketing. All the appliances in the kitchen are brand new and the open kitchen layout allows for a fun post-surf cook and chill environment. I must admit that our favorite part of the house was the open bathroom and shower. It was the most amazing feeling to come back every day from our morning surf session and take a shower looking at the sky and trees around us. The other amazing feature of the house was its location. Literally a three minute walk from Hermosa beach, our favorite surf spot. Aside from all the wonderful stuff mentioned above, the house comes with a couple of great people who lived close by and who were around any time we needed help with something. Also, not that safety is any issue in Santa Teresa but the house has a gate that can be closed at any time during the day. This was my sixth visit to Santa Teresa where I have always stayed in hotels. I must admit that this was absolutely my favorite visit and I can guarantee that the Full Moon house was the main reason. We felt absolutely at home every day and when we left, it felt like we were leaving our home behind. We will always come back to Santa Teresa and if we are lucky, we will stay at the Full Moon House every time!

Beautiful Home in Ideal Location

This home was beautiful and well equipped for all of our needs, very clean and well cared for. We saw monkeys and sea turtles at the beach, enjoyed lovely sunsets every night and relaxed in hammocks under the palm trees. There was a variety of wildlife around the home including a family of monkeys and beautiful birds. We enjoyed the location being just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Theresa. We very highly recommend this home!!!

Crecí en Long Island y pasé mis veranos en la playa. El padre de Will estaba en la Marina, así que su vida siempre ha estado alrededor del agua. En Virginia Beach, cuando tenía alrededor de 13 años comenzó a surfear y encontró su pasión. Cuando no estamos en Costa Rica vivimos en los Outer Banks de Carolina del Norte en Southern Shores. Vivimos en un canal para kayak y paseos en bote y momentos desde el Atlántico para el surf de Will, cerca de pato, Corolla, Nags Head ya una hora de Hatteras. Hemos estado en el negocio de la gestión de la propiedad y bienes raíces durante 25 años aquí fundó 2 empresas fantásticas Corolla Classic Vacations (posteriormente vendiéndolo en '08) y Corolla Real Estate. Sabemos la importancia de mantener y mejorar. Nuestros corazones están siempre en la arena de cuidar de personas y casas en la playa y proporcionar las mejores vacaciones.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Primero vacationed en Santa Teresa en 2004 y encontramos un lugar que queríamos volver. En 2006 compramos propiedad en el Océano en Manzanillo. Luego compramos esta pieza en 2007 y después de una cuidadosa consideración y colaboraciones construimos Full Moon y Half Moon. Nos encanta la ubicación porque podemos caminar a la playa es preciosa. Elegimos esta zona porque todavía tiene una sensación relativamente resistente con sus caminos de tierra y desarrollo de bajo nivel. Gente de todo el mundo vive y vacaciones aquí. Debido a que el área atrae a los surfistas junto con individuos de conciencia de salud es la vanguardia con Yoga Retiros Spas, y las tendencias emergentes para su cuerpo y alma. Usted encontrará que es un área muy juvenil y empresarial. Maravillosos restaurantes o servicios de chef ofrecen los mejores y más frescos alimentos para el último comedor. Nuestra área fue presentada en el New York Times Style Magazine - Travel Mayo 2016.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Luna Llena es discreto, pero creo que es también hermoso! Los techos de bambú son un recordatorio constante de que usted está en los trópicos. Lounging en la enorme cubierta de teca que son casi siempre protegidos del sol con su enorme voladizo. Ver los monos en los árboles de la ducha - increíble! Siempre conocemos a alguien nuevo mientras estamos aquí como todo el mundo va a la playa para ver la puesta de sol antes de la cena.
