Ubicado en una calle tranquila, este estudio está situado en la planta baja de un precioso edificio de estilo liberty, y este es un lugar ideal para explorar Palermo. Carlo was a wonderful host, gave great insight into Palermo and ideas for good places to visit. We felt very at home in the apartment. The location is perfect: quiet but in walking distance to the train, city centre and many sights.

Thank you so much for your stay - we had a wonderful time. The apartment is very conveniently located but also private at the same time. Carlo was very easy to communicate with and showed us some wonderful places to visit in Palermo. Highly recommended!

The perfect holiday location in Palermo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The flat was cosy, super clean and in walking distance of most of the sightseeing points. Yet because of the garden it also gave out a really calming atmosphere.

Excellent property for our 4 night stay. Well located equidistant to Politeano and Teatro Maximo, just like description. Carlo was excellent host. Communication issue is because we know no italian, Carlo was good we just listen poorly. Property was clean and well outfitted. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect apartment

Wonderful apartment. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The amenities are great. I was there for 10 days and didn't need a car, as everything is within walking distance. Carlo gave me great tips.

Palermo Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and property. The courtyard is delightful. We ate fresh oranges from a tree in the courtyard. Many sights are within easy walking distance of the apartment. Carlo and Laura are pleasant and helpful hosts!

Quiet home away from home

This beautiful property is tucked in a neighborhood in the middle of everything. All sights are within walking distance. The room was clean and well stocked. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from a vacuum clean to breakfast our first morning. He even had our laundry done. The backyard is adorable with the fruit trees and stray kittens running around. I would stay here again if I was back in town.

Relaxing stay in a chaotic city!

Palermo itself was pretty chaotic, but Carlos space was peaceful and quiet. The yard space and apartment are in a courtyard inside several locked doors, so it felt very secure. We would definitely stay here again!

Oasis in Palmero

This little studio was perfect for two adults. It offers calm and peace right in the middle of a very busy Palmero. Conveniently located in central Palmero it’s an easy walk to markets, historical sites, and services. L’Oblo laundry was close by and so many great restaurants. We’d stay here again.

Wonderful stay in Palermo

Lovely haven of peace and quiet in the centre of Palermo. Carlo was very accommodating and helpful with local recommendations. Apartment was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Apartment opens onto a lovely tranquil garden with lots of cats! After the buzz of Palermo it was lovely to come back to this little oasis of calm.

Stylish & relaxing oasis in the heart of Palermo

We stayed for seven days in Carlo's and Laura's apartment and had a fantastic time. The apartment is ideal for a couple (we had our baby with us) for exploring the vibrant downtown area of Palermo because once you enter the backyard you can relax in a quiet blooming garden full of mandarins. Carlo and Laura are extremely thoughtful and amiable hosts who gave the apartment a modern yet cosy touch with a mixture of functional and antique furniture and accessories. We can recommend a stay wholeheartedly.

Book without hesitation

Communication with Carlo and check-in was easy. Location was perfect: quiet residentiel street, safe area and you can walk everywhere: 10 minutes from Massimo theater or market, 20 minutes to cathedral or Norman palace, 30 minutes to train station. Small and comfortable studio with very large window door opening on a lovely garden. Visited in April and enjoyed a lot having breakfast in the garden.

a satisfying return visit

I stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed the privacy of the garden, with its orange trees and resident cats. The view makes the studio seem larger. The host, Carlo, is very responsive. The Capo market, cathedral, gourmet supermarket and opera house are in walking distance as well as the Politeama stop for the airport bus (only 6E). The kitchen is well equipped and the bed and pillows are wonderfully comfortable. The only disappointment was that there was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom.

Nice appartment near the city center of Palermo

We really enjoyed our stay in Carlo's apparment. The appartment is really well located. You will arrive in the city center within a 20 minute walk. The appartment itself is spacious and has everything you need. In the garden there are a lot of cats, which is why (unfortunately) you cannot eat outside. Carlo is a really gracious host. He explained everything upon our arrival. He also helped us pointing out the highlights of the city on the map. During our stay we had some questions, and he was always willing to help. We would reccomend this appartment to everyone.

A cozy, quiet little place with garden view

This is my third stay in Carlo's studio apartment and it was like coming home. The design of this compact place is just right because it was put together by Carlo and his wife, both architects. So, whether the tenant is a man or woman, their needs have been anticipated. A kilim on the floor and artwork on the white walls make the place bright and pleasing to the eye. Coffee,bottled water, jam and croissants are a nice welcome to a weary traveler. A bakery, restaurants and supermarket are nearby and the bus to the airport is about 9 blocks away. Two thumbs up!

Much can be improved

The host - super nice & attentive. Location-convenient tho not in a nice part of town. Apartment-adequate but lighting was poor, dirty or not working especially in kitchenette & bedside. Grounds-unkept, overgrown, no hammock. No washer found, just access to his washer offered.

Great little spot in the heart of Palermo

This was a small but nice and clean space to sleep while here. Carlo was very flexible, which is especially helpful for us traveling abroad. The grass in the yard was overgrown and the lounge chairs had a few spots of bird droppings but we wiped them and it was fine as we spent little time lounging on the property. There were adorable (wild) kittens in the yard, as well. It is easy to get around to trains, and there’s many restaurants in walking distance. The one downside was we both ended up with multiple bug or spider bites while sleeping (they weren’t a problem at first). Carlo left us a bug trap for the mosquitoes, which we used. We kept the windows closed and air on to minimize their entry. Carlo also stocked the little fridge with a few things. Overall a pleasant experience.

Geweldige locatie aan de voet van het oude centrum. Rustig. Sfeervol. Carlo staat bij evt vragen direct voor zn gasten klaar. Prachtige tuin met citroenbomen. Wel rekening houden met mosquito's.
