Yool Caanal condominios, un favorito desde hace mucho tiempo! Este clásico de Akumal se encuentra en un bonito tramo de Half Moon Bay.



Yool Caanal ofrece cómodas habitaciones sencillas, con fantásticas vistas de Half Moon Bay. Cada unidad cuenta con terrazas laterales de largo de playa perfecto para con vistas sobre la bahía y azules aguas del Caribe.



Las unidades constan de un área de cocina, sala y comedor bien equipada. El dormitorio principal está amueblado con cama de matrimonio. El segundo dormitorio con dos camas individuales. AC en habitaciones solamente. Yool Caanal 5 viene equipado con un monitor de TV y un reproductor de DVD para ver películas.

Va a encontrar un excelente buceo justo fuera de la parte frontal de la unidad en Half Moon Bay.

Poor management service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed July 2026. Very dissatisfied with the customer service. We booked the condo for two separate stays. I arrived at 10:00pm, after the check in office closed, but unfortunately I was not able to inform them of my late arrival time. At 10:00pm arrival I was not able to get into the condo for over two hours despite calling the emergency number for immediate help. It was hot and humid making the wait unbearable. This scenario repeated itself on the second check in date. The condo was clean and felt safe and the cleaning staff was polite, but not considered a good value for money.

We feel so well taken care of by our housekeepers and Daniel the groundskeeper.Morning coffees on the balcony, one or two snorkels a day, the shade of a palapa on the beach and the constant wind that makes even the hottest day pleasant are things we love about our stays. The only negative is watching people walking in the bay where small corals start as soon as you are knee deep and seeing locals fishing and spearfishing in the bay which is a protected area - I wish something could be done to make people understand the damage they are doing.

Beautiful and peaceful stay!

We had such a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary here in Akumal. The property is beautiful, private, and very peaceful. Bed was extremely comfortable, view of the ocean was beautiful, kitchen was well stocked and the concierge was very helpful in setting up additional activities for us.

Perfect location

Perfect location for our adventures! Close to many activities and restaurants. We stayed for 10 days and wandered around the are. It was bliss! The condo was well appointed and the people were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous space

Great location, amazing views and water access. Check-in process was easy. Only complaint is that silverware and knives were nowhere to be found. Ended up eating yogurt with an ice cream scoop.

Great place

One of the greatest views. A few steps and your in the ocean. Exactly what we were looking for. Only downfall is that there is only AC in the bedrooms. Which we knew going in. Open a window and a door and we had a good breeze. Highly recommend staying here.

Was magical to wake up with the wind blowing across the bed, the sound of the waves and the incredible view without lifting your head off the pillow. The wicker furniture in the living room was quite uncomfortable but other than that everything was perfect.

Watch turtles hatch in the summer

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this condo many times. We love to stay here in the summer and see the turtles laying and hatching. This is a coral beach and a small reef system is just a swim away. If you stay April-October the turtles lay nests and hatch. Ariel manages this condo and he is wonderful. Housekeeper Valentina is a joy! Condo is always clean and well maintained with great AC and a smart TV in the living room. There is no pool here and it is quiet and relaxing.

Amazing!

We loved our 9 day stay at Yool Caanal! Just as advertised. Daily cleaning was incredible. Valentina's attention to detail and the cleanliness of the unit was impressive. The beach out front was beautiful and the view from each room of the Caribbean was paradise. There is so much to do in the area. We loved snorkeling, swimming in the cenotes, the ocean and the Bio Reserve. Nearby, the Yal Ku Lagoon was amazing and filled with so many beautiful fish for snorkeling. Our advice would be to not take a tour to it, but walk down and just pay your entrance fee for the morning or afternoon...you can stay as long as you want! We recommend Karaoke night at Buena Vida also nearby. Our teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Thank you for a wonderful accommodation and experience while we were there!

The perfect beach getaway

The location was exactly as described. It was right on the beach, and private enough that we were able to avoid that resort feeling of overall busyness. Check in was smooth and easy. The property is located in a secured neighborhood, with local police nearby. Felt safe the entire time. We went during July, so it was brutally hot and humid, but the AC units worked great.There's also an abundance of local wildlife all around, so you'll get to see a lot of animals on land, and in the water. Snorkeling was amazing, and most of the time the visibility was great. The water is also quite shallow, and we were able to touch bottom as far as 100 feet from the shore.The only downside at all was not within the control of our hosts. The sargassum was incredibly thick. Most of the beach areas in the center of the bay were completely inaccessible. Luckily, this particular property is closer to one end of the bay, so they cleared us a path into the ocean every day. So while it was a nuisance, it didn't prevent us from being able to go out and snorkel.

Top 5 vacations of my life. Would live here full-time in a heart beat. I dont recommend the Blue Caribe tours offered through Akumal Direct. We went to Chichen Itza and while the tour guide and destinations were great, we were stuck on a huge tour bus with 60 other people for 10 hours of a 14 hour day. It was exhausting. Also, we recommend adding an additional 1 hour to your travel time back to Cancun Airport. There is roadwork that has been going on for about 1 year and delayed our drive time from 1.5 hour to 2.5+ hours. We almost missed our flight. The driver booked through Akumal Direct was the only reason we made it. We will 100% be back to stay in unit 5 again. AMAZING...

Unit 4 and 5 review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Yool Caanal before and were excited about coming back. Part of our stay was in Unit 4, which was mostly very nice; very clean and comfortable and good Wi-Fi. The refrigerator made a very loud humming noise when the compressor was running. The microwave made a loud humming noise while running. Other than early in the morning or in the very late afternoon, the balcony patio was pretty much unusable because the sun shine made it unbearably hot. An awning or umbrella would be helpful. Unit 5 has great views, but the Wi-Fi was spotty at best and not good if one planned to do some work there. The living room could use its own air conditioner as it get quite warm in there during the day. Maid service was wonderful for both units.

relax as promised!

The property is good, you may find all kind of kitchen appliances and all elements you may need to have a wonderfull experience. It is almost a private beach given the amount of properties with access to the beach. Some of the tours are using now Half moon as the main facility for snorkelling (Akumal is now restricted due to Turtles reprodution process). All in all, manageable and not a negative element at all. Access to Cenote of Yak Kul is really close by and there are a few options for dinning that are also good enough. The only negative element was the check-in process. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and the keys were not at the office. There was no security on duty and needed to call the manager who was so kind to come but we stayed there 1h waiting (and it was 11pm...). On the other hand on departure date they did not miss the chance to let us know 5 mins after 11am that we should be doing check-out. Thta´s why is four not five stars Overall, really good property and level of info given. we enjoyed a lot.
