La Villa Sophia Latchi es una hermosa y apartada propiedad, situada en una zona rural tranquila, sobre Latchi Chipre, con vistas al mar ya solo unos minutos de la playa y del centro de la ciudad.
Es ideal para una familia o grupo de seis personas, que deseen pasar unas vacaciones en un entorno tranquilo, disfrutando de una gran piscina privada, jardines muy bien cuidados y el campo virgen de Chipre.

Villa Sophia en Latchi Chipre es una propiedad de tres dormitorios, situada en una sola planta, frente al mar y las verdes colinas circundantes.
La villa consta de un área de planta abierta con cocina moderna, comedor y sala de estar cómoda, con puertas de balcón que se abren directamente a la terraza de la piscina y una terraza comedor a la sombra, con buenas instalaciones para sentarse.

Las habitaciones son agradables y espaciosas, con ventanas grandes y todas tienen aire acondicionado. (Se paga una pequeña tarifa de 5 euros por unidad localmente y solo para las fechas utilizadas).

La casa cuenta con un dormitorio principal doble con baño en-suite, dos gemelos que comparten un baño familiar con ducha y un WC.

La gran piscina privada en la parte delantera de la casa, está rodeada de cuidados jardines, plantas y amplias terrazas para tomar el sol o una siesta junto a la piscina, bajo una sombrilla.

Esta propiedad se encuentra en una ubicación ideal para practicar senderismo o caminar hasta Latchi Cyprus a través de los senderos vírgenes del campo.

The house is very comfortable and super clean. The location is perfect for those who seek a place to relax and enjoy nature. We had an amazing time

We had an amazing time here at villa sophia! The photos don’t do justice of how big the villa is and how big the pool is! It was amazing and we didn’t want to leave. We will 100% be booking to come back next year. Thanassis has been so kind, and helpful. When we arrived there was some food shopping for us, wine and flowers. So thoughtful. He also brought us a fresh melon from his sisters garden and it was delicious.100 percent we recommend!! Xx

I would happily stay there again…

Everything as described… really easy to check in and always received a prompt response to any queries.Was really pleased on check in… lovely to be greeted with local quality wine.. fresh fruit.. bread,… jam and milk and butter and other essentials… tea (a variety) coffee… sugar..Even fresh flowers The location for me was perfect… a peaceful location however a short drive to the amenities… Further away from the airport but still a beautiful area to explore with some lovely restaurants on the sea frontIn terms of the Villa… it felt very spacious and nice….lots daylight flooded in… basic furnishings but well furnished around the fantastic pool.. nothing else needed really I found the beds comfortable… the space airy and fresh.. exactly as described and looks like the photos… I have nothing to complain about.. I would happily stay there again… my adult children enjoyed it also as a base to explore… this is a peaceful and perfect retreatWe hired the Villa for a month.. perfect

Amazing relaxing holidays

Thank you very much dear Thanasis, for your hospitality and a beautiful stay in your modern well equipped Villa, surrounded with colourful flowers, herbs and olive trees, an enchanting view to the sea . Great clean Pool ideal for swimming.It was easy to relax in this peaceful place not far from Latchi port. Its in a walking distance (20 min). Villa Sophia is highly recommendable.

Didn't want to leave!

Beautiful villa, spotlessly clean and spacious. Really well equipped. The outside area and pool were perfect, great having outside shower too. Loved the local area- lots to see, great meals out and plenty of free parking. Thanasis was welcoming and super helpful , sorted an air conditioning problem out in record time! We have relaxed and really enjoyed the villa, we would all like to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa - car is essential.

Beautiful villa in a tranquil location. Fully equipped for all our needs. The owner was very accommodating in allowing a late check out due to late flight. The hamper was a pkeadant surprise as it was not expected. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Although the beach is only a 20 minute walk away, i would recommend hiring a car as the walk to the beach in the heat can be a little tiring. Overall we had a fantastic holiday..

Perfert Villa

We had a perfect two week stay at the villa as a family of five plus grandparents. Lovely and peaceful. The pool was a huge hit with the children and is all one level at just short of 1.5m. It felt secluded in the large grounds without being isolated as there are a few other houses in proximity. Other reviews have complained about the neighbour's security dogs, but they only barked if someone arrived and when they were fed and it never lasted for long. The bedroom AC is included in the price and, although you can pay extra for the living room AC it isn't required in the day with the doors open (the doors fully slide back). The veranda is north facing so you have the benefit of being able to sit in the cool shade all day, or you can lounge on the sun beds with uninterrupted sun. The villa is well placed for the small town of Latchi which has a harbour and a number of restaurants and shops. There is an amazing 24 hour bakery in Prodromi opposite a bowling alley called Artopiotis Bakery and if you go further onto to Polis there is a large supermarket although there are kiosks everywhere. Thanansis comes to clean the pool twice a week and we looked forward to his visits and our discussions about the island. He is well worth talking to as he is a fountain of knowledge. We really enjoyed exploring the island visiting the nearby Baths of Aphrodite (the beach there is great for snorkelling too). We went out on one of the boat trips from Latchi Harbour to the Blue Lagoon which was very reasonably priced. We also explored further afield and visited sites in Paphos (the waterpark is a must with children), Avakas Gorge and Vasilikon Winery. In short, the villa is a perfect home from home and has everything you need for a great holiday.

Lovely villa and location

This is a lovely open plan and well equipped villa situation just above the port of Latchi. The villa was immaculate and clean and as we stayed there for 2 weeks we also benefited from a mid stay clean and linen change by the owners, which was a nice touch. The large pool was cleaned regularly by the owner. Pool terrace and sunbeds were lovely. The property immediately in front of the villa and pool area cannot really see the pool terrace, as it is on higher ground, and also the windows at the rear of that property appear to be frosted glass. For anyone having a concern about that property from the pictures there really is nothing to worry about. It is a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk down into Latchi where there are a number of nice restaurants around the small harbour. A nice place to walk along the beach also. The owner was great when visiting and always let us know when he would be there for pool or villa cleaning. For a peaceful and safe holiday I would recommend this villa.

We had a very good time

We had a very good time in Villa Sophia. Especially the pool, the view on the see and the quietness of the property were our highlights. Also, the villa is not that far from the next shops and restaurants. For sure you need a car to make this way, but it is only a 5 to 10 minutes drive.

Nic villa, but no sea view

The villa is modern, spacious, airy and has a very well-equipped kitchen. It is also (as the website correctly claims) located in peaceful countryside, above Latchi. However, it does not boast amazing sea views (as the website also claims), because these are blocked by an adjacent villa. If a sea view is important to you, you should give Villa Sophia a miss. The pool is unheated, but in full sun all day, so it was still pleasantly warm in late-September. And the villa was comfortably cool once the air conditioning was switched on. Unfortunately, you have to pay the owners in cash to have the aircon switched on. It's not too expensive (20 euro a night in our case), but it meant we had to manage without for our first night, which was swelteringly hot.

Wonderfully peaceful villa

This is a wonderful villa. It is very peacefully situated on the edge of the countryside. It comes very well equipped and the pool is lovely. The agents were ever so helpful in all instances. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great Stay

This property is wonderful BUT it needs more steps to enter the property properly. I would not take anyone disabled to the property. The pool is big, you need to clean the pool from bugs each day as there are no skimmers to take the bugs away.. The pool was cleaned three times to take the bugs from the bottom of the pool. Do not wear your good costumes, ours have gone green, and lost their colour. Otherwise cleaning ourselves kept the bugs down and we had a good swim. The pool needs a bit of tender loving care and it will be fine. No outside shower, we used the hose in the garden. Villa very clean couldnt complain, however, Linen change once a week, although your pool towels are not changed, we were told by the cleaners they couldnt change them. We washed them using the washing machine. Dusting wasnt done either, a very basic clean. There were 2 mugs, crockery was a mixture of bits. We had to buy two mugs. There was a good food hamper waiting and lots of bits people had left behind you could use, that came in handy, like salt, pepper etc. I would rate this as an excellent property if the outside of the property was finished off properly with further steps into the villa, the pool looked cleaner and repaired in places and the clean be a bit more thourogh with pool towels changed and dusting done. Saying all of that we would definitely return, the views are amazing as it is so open planned. This review is based on other villa stays, we have been visiting Cyprus for 30 years.

Place is great and large. Amazing pool area and deck for lounging. Big BBQ for cooking on. Large kitchen and very clean. Had everything we needed. Pool man even came to clean the pool during the week. Worth noting due to the position in the country there are lots of bugs flying round. Not a deal breaker but annoying at times. The main let down was the air conditioning. The description says ''use of air-conditioning is provided with a small fee of 5 Euros per unit, per day'' and ''The air-conditioning in the lounge is paid extra on request as this is up to the guest to decide the use in resort'' I feel this is misleading. It makes it seem that only the lounge air conditioning is paid extra, and at only 5 Euros. In reality there is a separate unit in each bed room, and the lounge has two units! So you have to pay 5 x 5 Euros per day (25 EUROS) . I think the full cost should be clearly stated in the description of the property. It was only the start of May and we couldn't sleep at night due to the heat. Also be aware that due to bugs mentioned above leaving the doors or windows open at night is not an option. I wouldn't recommend this place in summer unless you can sleep in a hot climate with no airflow or are willing to pay 25 Euros per day for air conditioning. If the air conditioning costs had been defined clearly in the description I would have accepted them and given this place 5 stars.

Une Villa confortable et bien située

La construction est de très bonne qualité et son équipement est bien adapté à la région. La climatisation est efficace et puissante ... C'est nécessaire au mois d'août. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Elle est bien conçue et l’accès est aisé même pour des personnes un peu agées. La propriété n'a pas de voisin très proche. Il y a une façade à 20m mais c'est l'entrée de la maison du voisin et on ne voit que peu de monde passer. L'endroit est très silencieux ... l'idéal pour ce reposer. Une grille électrique permet de rentrer la voiture dans la propriété. Le port de Latsi est à 15min. à pied ou 5 min. en voiture. En arrivant, nous avons trouvé des fruits, du vin, du pain en guise de bienvenue. Nous avons eu 2 visites discrètes du responsable de la maison (principalement pour l'entretien de la piscine). Les contacts ont été très agréables.
