Beautiful property. Perfect size for our family of 17 and the kids loved all of the indoor space. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a great time.

Great stay at an alternative cabin on the same road bc this cabin had something broken on the hot tub during the dates we were staying. Cabin was switched the day of check in a few hours beforehand with no issues and we were switched to a cabin similar to this one that accommodated all of us with a working hot tub. Had a great time!

Great place for family reunion!

This was a gorgeous property set on the side of the hill with magnificent views out the front as well as the back. Kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed our meals at the beautiful huge dining table, Our group was 17 and there were plenty of sleeping accommodations. Would definitely recommend for family reunions, or other large groups.

Outstanding stay

Beautiful place in beautiful location. Natalie was very responsive and helpful and had great suggestions on places to visit. I would definitely recommend this group and their cabins and plan to stay again. One note, there are a lot of ladybugs, but that is understandable and didn’t negatively impact our stay.

The cabin itself was beautiful, and the views were truly amazing. It was a lovely setting for our family Thanksgiving getaway.Unfortunately, we did experience several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the door keypad was not functioning. When we contacted the host, they asked if we planned to leave the cabin and whether we wanted someone to come out to fix it. We confirmed that we would be leaving and requested that it be addressed. However, no one arrived the following day. After a follow-up call from my husband, we were told someone would come at a specific time, but when we returned later that day, the lock still had not been repaired. Because the door could not be secured, some family members had to stay behind while others went into town, as we did not feel comfortable leaving the cabin unlocked.In addition, we were surprised to learn that the fireplace could not be used unless temperatures were below 30 degrees and only during the months of December through March. Although we were visiting in November for Thanksgiving and the temperature dropped to 28 degrees, we were still unable to use the fireplace. A fireplace is a significant part of the cabin experience, and this policy may be worth reconsidering.We also found the hot tub to be unclean and did not feel comfortable using it. There were paint buckets around the property, a ladder near the front entrance, and the outdoor common area appeared to be under construction. Additionally, the grills were not functi

Great location. Great House for big group

We had a great time spending 4 days in this beautiful home. The owner was great at communicating and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back to visit. The house was so open and had a variety of different rooms for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy each others company. I have rented many times and this experience was one of the best. Thank you for letting us stay!

Great start to our summer vacation!

We had a great time ! The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay there. We are looking to go back again this fall. It was a simple and quick getaway with our kids as we are starting our summer vacation and we found so many things to do, we would have loved to stay a bit longer. Really enjoyed it. Wedding at Serre Vineyards

The home is beautiful. The views the sunrise and sunset. The only problem was infestation of stink bugs. Outside and inside. It still was ok just a little creepy since I’m not a bug person. I would still stay there again my family had a great time and close to a lot of different things.

Family Mountain Thanksgiving

We had 20 people(+2 babies)in my family and they came Carolinas, New York State, and Michigan. The house was very clean, had a 20 person dining table, and had lots of cooking equipment and view was nice incredible! Very expensive but good value.

Great House!

Owner is very friendly, very quick with communication and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. Hosted a small business retreat for 6 people and everyone loved it. Great set up for brining provisions for cooking and eating in the lodge, wonderful open floor plan on main level with large table. Everything was in good condition, from the kitchen/grilling to the TVs, linens, etc. The views and the clean air will have you eager to book your return trip.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very spacious yet cozy at the same time. We celebrated a birthday and had 7 couples staying. Each had their own room which was great for privacy. The only complaints we had were the matresses were hard in some of the rooms and the hot tub was not working while we were there. The owners were very willing to work with us and were attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this home for large groups. Plenty of outdoor seating as well!

Great for family reunions

The property is beautiful and has great views. We had plenty of rooms & beds for all 19 of us. The LARGE walk-in pantry just off the kitchen was a very pleasant bonus...we were able to store all of our dry goods/extra food in there, out of the way. The hot tub and pool table were enjoyed daily. The owner was quick in returning calls when we had questions/issues. She wanted to make sure our stay there was as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We all had a wonderful stay there. Thank you!

Wonderful Retreat

This is the second time staying at this cabin. Both times we took the leaders from our Christian ministry here to get away from the business of life to get some extended time with God. It was magnificent. Every left the weekend rested and refreshed. The cabin is amazing. The views are incredible. Perfect for a family reunion or gathering of several families / friends. We recommend hiking Stone Mountain about 30 minutes away. Take a picnic lunch to eat at the top.

Lovely home with wonderful view

We really enjoyed staying here. The home was very nice and I really liked the layout. It worked well for our large annual family gathering. All the decking and covered porches was nice and helped with the 2 rainy, foggy days. The view was awesome, especially the back, but the front was pretty also. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and games. We visited Mt. Airy and did some hiking in Stone Mountain State Park. Natalie was very helpful to us also. Thank you, Natalie.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Beautiful location and the house was perfect for our family. Enjoyed our week away. The kitchen is very sparse on cooking items.. The PM was quick to respond when the A/C stopped working, although we did have to wait at the house until the repairman came. Also you might want to think about replacing the hot tub cover as we were afraid to use it, which was disappointing.

Breathtaking Mountain Views!!

We had the most amazing time in this gorgeous, spacious cabin!! We didn't want to go home!!! Everything was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more!! Thanks for recommending the Shelton Vineyard! We had a full afternoon of wine tasting.. My favorite!! We will definitely be in touch soon, the family is already asking if we could spend Christmas in the Cabin in the mountains!!! Thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation.!!
