Villa Elafonissi is a 2 bedroom villa situated on the edge of a hill just 200 m from the sea. The gate entrance walks into the terrace where the outdoor dining area is shaded under a pergola & private pool (11 x 4, 5 m) is lying in front.

The interior is split up into two levels. The higher level hosts the twin bedroom, one bathroom with Jacuzzi, the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area.
The lower level is consisted of the master bedroom & the living room. The bedroom with en-suite bathroom has direct access to the balcony leading to the garden. A beautiful view of the sea is offered when lying on the bed. The living room in earthy colors creates a cozy atmosphere. Special features of this villa the wide openings especially the big window at the dining area which offers spectacular views of the sea.

Wonderful stay

Our stay at the villa was fabulous. The owner was accessible 24/7 and the property was as advertised/expected. We hope to visit the area and stay at the villas again!

Great property, everything was fantastic. Plenty of privacy and an unbeatable view. The hosts were very accommodating while also respecting our privacy. I would highly recommend staying there and will consider staying with them again!

Einfach perfekt

Traumhaft schönes Haus. Wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer, schöne Einrichtung, großer Pool. Völlig ruhig gelegen, Griechenland pur. Im Westen Kretas ist von Massentourismus aber auch so gar nichts zu spüren. Zauberhafte Tavernen in der Nähe, entweder unter Olivenbäumen oder direkt am Meer. Ganz besonders: der Kontakt mit unserem Hausbetreuer. Wenn mal irgendwas war, beispielsweise ein Rohr leckte, gab es innerhalb von 1 Minute Rückmeldung per WhatsApp. Der Schaden wurde dann binnen einer halben Stunde behoben. Einfach perfekt, wie auch der Kontakt mit der Agentur im Vorfeld. Es gibt wirklich, wirklich nichts zu meckern. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Diese zwölf Tage haben uns sehr gut getan. Urlaub für die Seele.

Nette Villa mit schönem großen Pool und einem sehr freundlichen Service vor Ort, sofort da auch für die nötigen kleinen Reparaturen der nicht mehr ganz neuen Innenausstattung. Für unser Ruhebedürfnis war der Ort genau richtig, ziemlich einsam an der felsigen Westküste gelegen, ein kleines Auto ist dafür ein Muss. (Achtung: Google findet in dieser Region nicht immer zuverlässig die gute Asphalt-Straße!)Die Auswahl an lokalen Restaurants ist begrenzt, der nächste größere Supermarkt mehr als eine (bergige) Autostunde entfernt.

Sehr schön - aber Wind muss man mögen :-)

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche im Haus verbracht! Lefteris und seine Mitarbeiter waren mega freundlich und haben alle Rückfragen umgehend beantwortet und gelöst. Das Haus hat eine wunderschöne Lage, ist aber wenn es windig ist (was es in unserer Woche definitiv war!), dem Wind ziemlich ausgesetzt. Zwei Sachen, die verbessert werden könnten: - es gibt ab dem Nachmittag kaum noch richtig schattige Bereiche - es gibt keine Duschen, sondern Badewannen in den 2 Bädern, die zudem keinen Vorhang haben Davon abgesehen aber ein sehr schöner Fleck, an dem man mit dem Blick aufs Meer die Seele baumeln lassen kann

Ruhe mit herrlichem Blick

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, rundum Meerblick! Im Bett hört man das Meeresrauschen. Man muss sich nur auf Serpentinenstraßen einstellen, es ist ruhig im "Nix" gelegen. Zum Strand Elafonissi ist es nicht weit und der ist im April noch sehr leer und wunderschön. Das Wlan hat nicht gut funktioniert, während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde aber ein neuer Router eingebaut. Mit der Entwässerung war auch etwas nicht in Ordnung, das wurde aber auch vom Vermieter sofort repariert.

Super Lage und tolle Aussicht

Tolle Lage mit herrlichem Meerblick aus dem Wohnzimmer, Küche und Schlafzimmer! Abgelegen mit Ruhe. Auto aber unentbehrlich. Geschirr könnte üppiger sein, für zwei Personen aber ausreichend. Freundliches Bedienungspersonal und freundlicher Nachbar. Insgesamt herrlicher Aufenthalt im „Wilden Westen Kretas.

Charmantes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Sehr schöne Lage mit phantastischem Ausblick und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen. Toller, großer Pool, der täglich gereinigt wird. Kommunikation und Infos perfekt organisiert, toller vor Ort Service! Ausstattung gut, könnte etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck sein, aber ausreichend! Leider kein größerer Supermarkt, aber gute Tavernen in der Umgebung! Bademöglichkeit an Klippen fußläufig, aber Traumstrand Elafonissi in 15 min erreichbar. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag, unbedingt hier hin!

Praktiska problem

Tog flera dagar innan luftkonditionering och spolning på en toalett fungerade. Yttre entrédörr gick ej att öppna utan kraftansträngning. Utlovad städning varannan dag fungerade överhuvud taget inte. Detta var mindre praktiska problem men huset som helhet hade hög standard och en fantastisk utsikt.

Villa agréable dans sa partie extérieur mais désagréable dans son intérieur

Très bon accueil avec le concierge de son prénom Michel et rien à dire sur l'équipe d'entretien etc... par contre nous avons dû dormir dans la cuisine sur les cousins du canapé pour obtenir un minimum de fraîcheur ( problème de climatisation) puis la seconde nuit nous avons passé la nuit dehors car aucune climatisation ne fonctionné sans compté un nombre très important de blattes dans la maison. Durant la première semaine, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à alerter les services concernés . Le propriétaire à constaté le dis fonctionnement de la climatisation, tout d'abord il nous a proposé de dormir une nuit puis une notre dans une autre villa où il n'y avait aucun souci, ce qui nous a permis de récupérer d'une fatigue accumulée, ensuite nous avons été équipés d'une climatisation portative très bruillante, de nouveau impossible de dormir, la réparation c'est fait en fin de deuxième semaine, il n'est pas acceptable de perdre du temps durant un séjour de vacances, en vue de la prestation annoncé sur le site, pour le prix de cette prestation, nous nous attendions à un minimum de confort, autant être en camping !!!!! Si c'est pour dormir dehors !!!!de ce fait, nous voulons un dédommagement financier lié à ce préjudice. Nous avons envie de retourné en crête mais certainement pas dans cette villa !!! Dans l'attente d'une réponse et d'un dédommagement rapide. Cordialement Madame et monsieur DUFRESNE

They did their best. Rather than dwell on the problems we had with the Villa we would like to compliment the owners who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. When we had problems, they fixed them right away. Even going so far as to replace the hot water heater in one day, which is no small feat in the remote west side of Crete. But in the end, we decided to leave after four days instead of staying for the entire week as we had planned. Once again, everyone involved was great and they agreed to refund us the remainder of the money for the week’s stay. After a little back and forth they even agreed to give us money back for four nights instead of three. The problems we had were both showers leaked badly upon arrival. They were fixed the next day, but a quick check that the showers worked before we arrived would have avoided the need for us to bring it to their attention. The toilet off the master bedroom leaked and the room smelled of sewer gas. This was also fixed the next day. There were quite a few millipedes in the jacuzzi tub, so many so that we didn’t feel comfortable turning the jacuzzi jets on. Silly little things like no paper napkins, coffee filters, or laundry detergent for the washing machine and only one dish towel. The villas are located about an hour and a half drive from Chania a mostly beautiful drive on a very curvy road. Elafonisi beach is about a 20 minute drive away from the villas. Very beautiful beach and water. It’s easy to get to and has tavernas, beach chairs and umbrellas. This also makes it a busy beach, but worth a visit for sure. Once again everyone we dealt with was great. They even gave us a complimentary meal they day after we arrived and were able to accommodate a vegan diet with more than tomatoes and cucumbers. The meal was given to us as a welcoming gift, not because we were having problems with the bathrooms. All in all, this place was just not for us.

Lefteri and his family are so welcoming and generous. They redefine hospitality. For a special treat, ask Lefteri to connect you with Executive Chef Ametheos, who cooked us an amazing meal right in our villa. It was the highlite of our week in Crete.

FANTASTIC Villa!!!

The Elafonissi Villa "surpassed" our expectations by far! This is an AWESOME villa, located perfectly overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It's quiet and secluded location provided us the opportunity for a nice relaxing time. The sunsets and star gazing from the villa were awe inspiring. It is also conveniently located a short 5 minute drive from the infamous Elafonissi Beach in southwestern Crete. There are multiple taverns/restrauants within a short 5 - 10 minute driving distance and the food was absolutely delicious at all eating establishments we tried nearby. The villa has all necessary amenities, pool is cleaned daily, cleaning lady comes every 2 days, and the villa manager is a hands on person, eager to assist at all times. We fully intend to return here to stay again in the future and highly recommend this villa to any parties interested in renting a villa in southwestern or western Crete. The western part of the island is the most beautiful and this was the PERFECT place to return to every day after beach going, sight seeing, touring, etc.

Hello there,
I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable.
I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself.
The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).
