Exciting Resort

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Splash Resort. My grandson had an awesome time in the kids section of the resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this resort to anyone with young children and to adults who want a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The condo was extremely nice and the décor was super cute.

Property was clean. Loved the included beach chairs. An upgrade to appliances would be nice but they get the job done. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, utensils,ect. Very nice Condo

Not as I expected

When I arrived, I opened the door and as soon as I clicked the light switch on, just inside the door, a ROACH went running up the wall. (No others SEEN over the stay). The sofa bed was VERY flat and uncomfortable. There were TWO tvs not three as listed. VERY long waits for elevators. Overall, the condo was okay, not great, the location and views were GREAT.

Great level

Everything was ok. Loved being on the 5th floor. Just a few disappointing things. Coffee table leg was broke. Sent message on first day to let them know so we didn't get accused of breaking. Floors were really sand. They had not been swept. I had to sweep when we arrived. Also sent a pictured of this on the first night. Got no response all week. Dishwasher was full. Dirty towels still in the basket. I had wondered if it had even been cleaned but beds and linens were all clean. Couch is stained. Hot water does not last long at all. Other than this we had a great week.

Overall experience at Splash Resort was excellent and no major issues with our room. However, couch is very stained and the chair fabric is fairly torn up making it feel pretty unclean. Also the ladder to the bunk bed was broken and slipped out several times while our child was climbing up to bed (kind of scary and definitely should be addressed.) The glass tabletop in the photos appears to have been broken at some point and rather than disposing of the table, they shoved it in the laundry closet, which made the vacuum very difficult to get in and out... and added to the unclean vibe. We would consider staying at Splash again, but would likely look for a different room.

We had to make a last minute diversion to the Gulf Coast after our original booking on the Atlantic was interrupted by hurricane Dorian. The booking process was so simple and the staff was courteous and so accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect Condo

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful. The splash pad/pool area is awesome and the condo was just as described. Super nice. It was also awesome that it is a 5th floor condo. When the line for the elevator was long, we just took five quick flights of stairs. The West end of the beach is also the best. We will be trying to book this same condo next year!

Good concept

The condo itself 505W was as described. Had a minor problem with the A/C, called and someone was there in 30 minutes and fixed it. Kitchen is short on cooking utensils and not many pots and pans. Comfortable mattress/pillows etc. Great size for the 5 of us. As for the resort....long waits for the elevators and elevator doors shut forcefully. Parking was ok. The pools were not heated and were ice cold. Almost impossible to swim in. The lazy river was a bit warmer, but still cold. Bar and grill was never open. Hot tub was full of very young kids, yuck!!! Splash pad was also freezing cold and the bucket that dumps water every 45 seconds was very forceful, to the point of kids crying. It is a great concept with the pools being under the buildings and out of the sun for the most part, but turn on the heat in the pools!!

Clean beaches,nice pools,kids enjoyed indoor waterpark. Condo--Dryer was junk, floors dirty & sandy

Hotel Property itself was nice, beaches clean, kids loved all the pools & indoor waterpark! My only complaints were elevators took forever, the condo... floors hadn't been swept, there was dirt and sand everywhere. The dryer took forever to dry 1 shirt, no DVD players in the condo.

Great getaway

The amenities at Splash were amazing and the 2 free beach chairs and umbrella provided were a wonderful bonus. The condo was clean & roomy and the furnishings adequate for the price. We were surprised that there were no DVD players so we were unable to watch the movies we had planned on watching. The kitchen didn't have a pitcher so we had to go purchase one for tea & lemonade. The bed was very comfortable in the Master, but could definitely use some room darkening shades. The condo light outside the window was so bright that it seemed like midday and made falling asleep and staying asleep difficult. The balcony provided a perfect view of the beach and was where we spent our time during the heat of the day, ate our meals and watched the beautiful sunsets each evening.

This was a great place to stay for a family !!

Our condo was clean and plenty of space for the five of us. The beach was beautiful and my kids loved the pools and lazy river. We will be back for sure !!!!
