Kitchen was scarce in equipment. There was no spices, salt,pepper etc. Most places we have rented had wine glasses, beach towels, and beach chairs. The house did not.

Great location and plenty of space

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental had a fantastic location with ample parking and just a short walk to the beach. There was more than enough room for our group of 10 to be comfortable. A few maintenance issues did greet us upon arrival — the garbage disposal wasn’t working and the sink drained slowly, though maintenance came the next day to fix it. The kitchen faucet handle was broken, making dishwashing and handwashing a bit difficult, and it seemed like it had been that way for some time. Aside from those items, we had a great stay and would recommend this property for its location, space, and overall convenience.

We kept the AC at 73 degrees, as directions indicated, but still had trouble with drops of water from one bedroom vent falling on the bed (and the person trying to sleep in it).

A Great Beach House Getaway!

Plenty of space for the family and fun to have a big seafood night with lots of table room outside on the deck and in the dining room. You have an easy walk to the beach from this home!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a return trip to 2 Summer Dunes. Bathrooms were not cleaned, old soap and empty containers. There is major construction next door, with workers arriving at 7:30am including Saturdays. A good cleaning, extermination and updates need to be done. We had a good experience last year, but will be looking for a new property for next year.

Gorgeous Property

The house was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location. We loved it. The only drawback I can think of was not enough bath towels. We were constantly asking “who has a towel?” And running loads of bath towels. Also, the management company didn’t reply to two emails I sent them through VRBO which was frustrating but ultimately not a huge deal. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Each bedroom has a private en suite and the extra bathroom on the main floor that isn’t shared with a bedroom is a nice bonus. There is tons of pantry and cabinet storage in the kitchen. The house is a short walk to the beach. The only downside is the lack of beach view but the house is so nice, it would not deter me from renting again.

Spent Christmas week with our grown children and grandchildren and never felt cramped. What a plus that everyone had their own bathroom too. The only suggestion I could make would be to bring a good night light for the stairway landing. Three people in our party stumbled on the one step down to the next level of the stairway. A simple fix for a beautiful vacation home!

The location was perfect for our group

Perfect place for draft weekend

Overall a great property and 8 of us slept here comfortably. Very convenient location as steps from the beach and in close proximity to wild dunes golf courses. Fantasy football draft was a success and the only thing that wasn’t good was the belly button ring that the loser had to wear all weekend. Would def recommend it and would love to go back!

The location of the property to the beach was phenomenal. The house could use a lot of upgrades, especially for the price. The beds were soft, the staff was friendly, pretty much a good stay overall.

The Perfect House for a Family Vacation

The only suggestion I would have is to upgrade the stove and the refrigerator. We had to adjust the burners on the stove so the pans would not slide off and the refrigerator was a bit small but it worked out fine. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to rent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location was perfect! Not on the beach but extremely close. House was mostly well appointed and clean. There is definitely some wear and tear but that’s to be expected and wasn’t a deal breaker. Beds were comfortable and the house was spacious, perfect for my group of 10. One of the burners on the stove wouldn’t heat up and the coffee pot wasn’t great. It leaked when pouring and took a long time to brew, no pause function on the pot. There were exactly 10 bath towels which was kind of odd, no extras but there was a washer/dryer. The house had a beach cart, wagon, and beach toys which was great! The grill propane tank was empty but a quick trip down to island realty with the empty to replace it for free was easy enough. Overall it was a 4.5 star stay and we throughly enjoyed our stay! We would book again!
