10/10 Condo Rental

This was our third time staying at Honokeana Cove (different units each visit) so we knew exactly what to expect from the property and surrounding area. The unit came stocked with everything you could need for your stay including beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. The kitchen is well stocked, even with spices for cooking and plasticware to take down to the pool deck. My singular complaint is that there wasn’t foil to use at the ocean front grills and that’s something we could easily resolve ourselves. Despite the fact that this unit is tucked into the corner, there’s a fantastic ocean view and great airflow through all of the windows. This condo truly does not disappoint and the property itself is no exception!

Fabulous Maui stay

Wonderful stay for a week with my family. Beautiful view with rainbows and turtles! The best stocked rental I have ever stayed in, including beach gear. Perfect location for exploring the area. We’ll be back!

It's the best snorkeling on the island and we just love the low key, easy feel of the property. When we go to an island, we want to feel a bit removed from it all, but we also have small children. So, this is THE PERFECT option for feeling quiet and secluded, away from the giant resorts, with a perfect pool, kitchen and play areas for the kids. This condo in particular was so nicely redone and furnished. Please include in the rental listing that you have beach chairs and an umbrella for your guests to use (would've saved us from renting prior to arrival). Thank you!

Comfortable unit, incredible view

Loved our stay at this unit. Incredible ocean views from Lanai (better than I expected based on the photos). We were a group of six and had plenty of space. 15-minute walk to Napili beach, one of our favourite beaches on the island. Every day we saw lots of turtles swimming in the cove or sunning on the shore. The unit also stayed a nice comfortable temperature for our entire stay. Property managers were always friendly and responsive. We would love to return to this unit in future.

Delightful Retreat!

We enjoyed everything about this property, starting with location: amazing location with great snorkeling and sea turtles steps away, ocean views from main living space, pool and lawn visible from lanai, walk to Napili and Kapalua, near-daily rainbows in December. The unit: updated interiors with fun, beachy decor, ninja blender and daily smoothies, puzzles, games, beach chairs, one snorkel set, great small kitchen with everything you need, plenty of hooks to keep towels try, comfortable beds and bedding, wonderfully placed lounge furniture to enjoy the view. Lovely staff and guests! Our stay was the best, and we hope to return in the future!

Peaceful and Restful

It is a intimate and beautiful compound of low rise buildings in a semi circle around a pool with ocean vistas. I have never seen so may turtles as I did in the small bay. Clean, modern, and spacious. We had a very lovely stay and would come again.

Why I Always Come Back to The Cove

The snorkeling is always rewarding. Su is great to help with some of the little details. An easy drive to Kapalua or Lahaina for shopping, dining, or golf yet it is just as pleasant to stay on the property for swim, sun, and relaxation. Stay #5 will be in our future.

A wonderful place to stay

The condo was impeccable and had everything we needed. Even a few loaner chairs and float noodles which were so great to have. Loved the sea turtles everyday and the tiki torches at night with sunset. Just a perfect spot, beach access is a few minutes walk around to the next bay, otherwise enjoy the rocky Honokeana Bay perfect for swimming, snorkeling and paddleboarding. Wish we could have stayed forever.

Super clean, newly remodeled & tastefully done. Very comfortable. TV is a bit overwhelming to control, but finally figured it out. One note as with most of the units at the Cove, traffic noise outside is an issue. You will be sleeping with all the windows open & can hear everything.

Amazing!!

Su at this property was awesome! She took care of everything. The property is newly remodeled and looks amazing. Showers were fantastic beds comfortable and view from the patio was breathtaking. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Hidden gem in mauI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Honeakana Cove, unit 209 for 11 nights. It was out second visit to Maui and we will never stay anywhere else! The condo sits on the most beautiful cove where dozens of sea turtles live. The best snorkeling on Maui is in your backyard! Napili Beach (my favorite on Maui) is just a 5 minute walk. You are minutes from Kapalua, the blow hole, Two tiered pools, etc. Napili Market is just a few blocks away - a fantastic market with everything you will need after your Costco run. Su at front desk is EXCEPIONAL!!! We forgot fathers day cards and I stopped in the office to ask for some blank paper for my boys to make cards - and she gave us her handmade cards that are just beatiful. Unit 209 is perfect in every way - well stocked and simply/tastefully decorated. We floated on tubes and watched the sunset most nights. Grills are great too - I thought we would eat out more but we didnt want to leave the cove, so we grilled in most nights. This place is exceptional!!!! Thank you, Honokeana Cove for such a lovely vacation!
