Bienvenido a "Cottage # 2" en Salty Breeze Cottages, ubicado en Rye Beach, NH. Realmente no hay nada mejor que esto. Disponible para alquilar por semana y mínimo de 3 noches.

Great getaway in Rye

Property was immaculate and fully furnished with all types of accessories. Owner greeted us and asked to contact him should we need anything. Will definitely go back.

Local Getaway

My husband and I were looking for a quick coastal getaway in State due to Covid. This was just what we needed. The place was clean and updated. The check-in/out is a breeze. We felt safe and comfortable. Steps from the beach and a quick ride to Portsmouth for dinner. Thank you to the Clinton family - we will be back! K&J

Spectacular Place!

We loved everything about our little cottage! It was perfect for just the two of us. The beach is super close and convenient. Didn’t have to travel long distances to get to many very cool activities and destinations! Highly recommend!

Lovely Respite From The City

Cottage 2 is just lovely, well-appointed, and much nicer than the photos indicate! The hosts perfectly balance your privacy with your needs. The beach is great for wading, swimming, or just sitting at night star-gazing. Not much surf (for any interested) but not crowded either! If you have any mobility issues you'll have to head down the road a bit for easy beach access, but it's not a big deal. The bed is comfortable and I'm fairly picky about that! The shower is great as is the kitchen. I would highly recommend. I plan to go back as soon as I am able.

Great place right across from the ocean.

We really loved the cottage we stayed In. It was #2 and fit our needs perfectly. There’s a small beach across the street but you do have to traverse some rocks. There are a number of really nice beach very close as well as restaurants. We would recommend this place and the Clinton’s were really great hosts.

Great location

Perfect place to stay with so many things close by. White mountains, Maine, Portsmouth, Massachusetts there to explore with a great home base. Very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and wonderful owners. Will absolutely stay there again .

Perfect for 2 people, convenient to Foss Beach

Small but roomy enough for 2 people (my husband is 6'3" and doesn't do well in small places and didn't feel that way here). Good size living room and kitchen, bedroom enough, bathroom a little cramped but great use of space. Know a few things: 1. Laundry is in between cottages 3 and 4 and coin operated, $1.50 for wash and $1.00 for dry, works great. The grill is also central to the cottages and house on the property. 2. NH and Maine beaches have unique tides so most beaches get completely covered at high tide. Foss, across the street, is no different but a beach chair works on the smooth stones as well as on the sand. Bring water shoes to be able to easily navigate the stones. 3. The wood ramp up over the sea wall works fine but we needed to walk a bit on the sea wall to safely navigate down to the beach. 4. Portsmouth is not far, the closest grocery store is Market Basket on the outskirts, 10 minute drive. Both Wallis State Park and Jeness State Park to the south and north respectively get crowded but have more sand than Foss. Hampton Beach is like Wildwood NJ & OC Maryland had a child and let the child raise itself. Just saying and we have frequented both. We hope to return sometime soon!

Return to Salty Breeze

Our second trip to Salty Breeze Cottages was just as enjoyable as our first. Great seaside location. Cottages are very clean and well equipped. Hosts are very friendly and hospitable. Would return again!

Nice peaceful place

Nice clean quaint little cottage, ,but not all that private. Close to the beach but can’t see the ocean from cottage. I would recommend it. The owners were great. I would stay again. Note mattress is stiff so you might want to bring a foam pad as I couldn’t sleep with out one.

Lovely

The pics don’t quite do it justice- it is absolutely adorable! It was the perfect fit for two, had everything we needed and was walkable to the beach and a bunch of great seafood spots, with downtown Portsmouth just a 10 min ride. The manager and owner were both great- even left me a pint of tomatoes when he stumbled upon us admiring the garden! If you need to accommodate more people there are a number of other rentals on the property - great to scale up for friends/family.

Paradise

This sweet little cottage is the perfect getaway. The house is a wonderful size for a small family, it’s clean, nicely updated, and just feels like home. The beach is directly across the street and is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. You do have to climb down some rocks to get to the sand but once you’re there it is so worth it. During low tide, the water is so calm and the beach is really flat- it’s wonderful. The Clintons were so pleasant and helpful - we will absolutely stay again in the future!

Romantic Seaside Getaway

Desperate for the opportunity to get away to the ocean SAFELY during a global pandemic, and after many hours of searching, I came across this PERFECT little cottage across the street from the ocean. It is super clean and cozy, beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need including a shared outdoor grill that overlooks the stunning marsh. The owners are a delight and beyond accommodating. Foss Beach was wonderful. NH closed parking on 1A so we basically had the beach to ourselves. No issue social distancing here! We would live here all summer if we could. I so highly recommend this rental to a couple wanting a private, romantic getaway with views of the birds and sunsets over the marsh, sunrise over the sea and all the fun that is to be had in Seacoast NH. Ray's down the street is great, Petey's (in my opinion) was even better, and The Charterhouse was incredible for a fine dining experience. Truly a perfect vacation. Can't thank you enough! We will be back!

A memorable stay

This is a beautiful vacation spot. Cottage #2 was truly a find, and right across the street from the ocean. I can not think of a negative thing to say, other then our stay was to short. We can't wait to go back next year. Thank you Mark for being such a great host.

Camera in the bathroom.

I did not spend one night there. CAMERA IN THE BATHROOM. Thank Goodness for a the Rep Ralph in Austin that set me up with alternative housing after realizing my pictures of the camera in the bathroom were a clear and present danger.

Relaxing Rye

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with the Clintons in Rye at their #2 cottage. Location was fantastic and owners were wonderful. Very peaceful and beautiful.

I could live here. First impression was it was cleaner than some 4-star hotels I've been to. Everything I needed was there. Quiet atmosphere, beach across the street, friendly hosts. Photos don't do it justice.

The owner does send an extensive contract to sign after your reservation is processed. There is also no a.c. Which was only an issue one night. The cottage was very clean. The owner was responsive and we enjoyed our stay.

The sofa bed in the living area shoud be tossed to the trash . I hope anyone staying there in the future will go and buy an air matteres like I had to or they will not sleep like I couldnt

Originally from the greater Boston area, The Clinton first purchased this beachfront destination in 1975. This parcel of land included 2 houses and 3 stand-alone cottages. Cottage #2 was at one time a Seafood takeout stand operated by the previous owners! The original name of the property in its entirety was "The Salty Breeze Inn" - and we are suckers for history! Thus we have rebranded our property as "Salty Breeze Cottages" in 2014. To this day, The Clinton Family descendants still continue to own, operate and manage this beautiful gem located in a quaint New England Seacoast town, Rye. You are part of our family when you are here! We speak fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese and some French. You are in good hands at Salty Breeze Cottages with your Hosts, The Clinton Family of Rye Beach, New Hampshire.
