Directamente al otro lado de la calle de la playa ya solo unos pasos del centro de la ciudad costera, esta ubicación es ideal. El gran porche delantero, completo con columpios, lo invita a disfrutar del aire fresco de la mañana. Deambula por el interior, donde te recibe la sala de estar formal con chimenea y sofá cama. Dos habitaciones de matrimonio, cada una con baño privado / ducha, completan el primer piso. Diríjase hacia la elegante y muy bien equipada cocina con horno doble y estufa de inducción, asientos en el balcón y una gran mesa de comedor lo suficientemente amplia para que toda la familia se amontone. Hay un generoso balcón en la cocina con vistas al golfo para su placer. ¡La suite principal de gran tamaño, también en el segundo piso, es absolutamente deliciosa! Spring Break Family Fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sabbatical offered the most perfect, relaxed setting for our family and friends during spring break. The location cannot be any more perfect with quick walks to both the private beach access and all the offerings of town center. We drove our car only once during our stay just to visit Rosemary, so it was wonderful having everything we needed within walking or biking distance. Sitting on the second floor porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine with the beautiful view of the water. West Ruskin was a very quiet street during our stay, and we enjoyed daily morning walks all through Seaside before the crowds arrived. Homeowner's Collection offers top notch customer service, greeting us upon arrival and quick to answer any questions before or during our stay. The only disappointment was the size of the primary bathroom. It's very small for the size of the room, and we opted to use the downstairs showers. We look forward to returning again!

Perfect location!

The location was perfect! Close to the square and beach access. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. The upper balcony was perfect for a morning coffee and people watching with a view of the Gulf. The house does have a lot of stairs and steps but we needed the added exercise. The house was so close we didn’t even get the teens bikes. They walked everywhere.

Awesome location. NOT SAFE FOR TODDLERS

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a lovely house in a fantastic location. The property management company is wonderful, I have stayed with them before. If you are couples or a family with older kids it’s great. If you have kids under 5 this is NOT at all safe. Objectively, this house should not say friendly for children. There are so many stairs in very odd locations and no way to prevent kids (brought our own baby gate!). The worst part is the railing looking over the stairs in the kitchen has so many holes for a child to crawl through. I am a physician and if I knew of someplace where I could report this to prevent tragedy for a family, I would. This house is hazardous for young children and should not be rentable to families with toddlers. I asked to move houses once I realized but was unable. The master room has a giant claw foot tub In the middle. That’s in the photos and obviously we knew this. However the photos do not show the actual master bathroom which is the smallest bathroom I think I have ever seen and does not have a shower. The downstairs bedrooms have showers. Additionally, if you go over spring break you are right on the main road. You will be kept up. It is probably not a problem if it’s not peak time.

Two beach towels and a beach bag were provided which was a nice touch. General floorplan layout could be difficult for some people with lots of stairs. Master suite had tiny bathroom with a clawfoot tub in the middle of the room.

Sabbatical

Our stay in Sabbatical was amazing. We have taken our family to Seaside for over thirty years and have stayed in a different house every time. Sabbatical is one of our favorites. Not only is the house wonderful, the location is great as well. The house is very clean and updated. The upstairs kitchen and dining room was so enjoyable. We loved hanging out on the porch overlooking 30A with beautiful views of the gulf in the morning. And the master bedroom is huge. Plenty of space for our children and grandchildren!

only two drawbacks: 1. problem with birds in the chimney making noises before dawn every day!! 2. all night traffic noise on 30A, which is uncontrollable.

Fantastic house!

Great house! Need a new coffee pot. The actual pot spout is on the side, not the front. Makes pouring almost impossible. Television in the master did not seem to be “connected.” Two very minor problems.

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented Sabbatical many times and Dreamboat once. All-in -all the condition of the property has been good. There was an issue with the leak in the closet in the downstairs left bedroom. The maintenance crew was quick to respond. There was still a drip, drip, drip sound after they left. The closet did not show any more water. Since the property is one of the oldest properties (Dreamboat icluded) plumbing issues, perhsps the owners need to think about taking on the expense of correcting the issue.

July Stay at Sabbatical

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would definitely stay here again! The property location and amenities were great and accurate. You can't beat the closeness to the beach. The primary room's king bed was so comfortable and the separate A/C for it was a dream. The 30A road noise/people didn't bother us from our room at night. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were good with great bathrooms and walk in showers. We do wish the primary bathroom was bigger. It was so nice to have a smart tv in every room and the kids played board games that were available. Kitchen was nice, however, that part of the house did to cool off well - probably due to all the windows and French doors on that side. The only real problem we had was roaches. The management came and brought us traps and spray right away. We aren't super freaked out by them but I could see how it may bother other visitors a lot. Hopefully they will be gone next time or for the next people. Thank you for letting us stay and use your home - it really is lovely and we would stay again for sure.

Weird house layout but with a great location

This lovely house has the ideal location for visiting Seaside and especially the Red Wine Festival being only 2 blocks away. We were 6 adults ages 55 to 80 and the weird layout of the stairs in the entrance area was difficult to understand as to why it was designed in that manner as we have never seen anyplace like it and we are all in the real estate business. The only other issue was in the primary suite where the bathroom was tiny for such a huge bedroom suite and the claw tub in the center was unusable by older adults who would have to climb over to access the tub and the shower curtain surround was not practical at all and a safety hazard with no hand railing or bars. We did have some trouble closing the doors to the upstairs porch which looks to just need realignment. All other features were fine.

Sabbatical

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All was wonderful for our group of 6 adults. Upper level kitchen with balcony was a great place to mix during AM coffee and lower level living room for evening beverages and laughs. Very convenient to Seaside center of town, pools and restaurants.

Central Ease & Beauty

Super convenient to everything! Feet from the beach access, the center of town, the bikepath... The double front covered porches were perfect for people watching. We watched the half-marathon & 5K runners go by. The interior architecture, color pallate and furnishings were beautiful. (There are stairs between rooms.) Not easy to re-latch the top of the doors to the porch, but great to have the doors open with the breeze.

Close to beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect higher end beach decor home. All furniture was comfortable . Stocked with everything needed. Has such a quick and easy beach access . Just one block to town center resturants . The only down side is this home has multiple step levels and stairs that could be a problem for some with mobility issues

Wonderful home

There were a few areas where it is starting to need "fixing up" but we understand with the rental market how that can delay things. The Property management company was AMAZING. So helpful, kind, and eager to help in every way. We would highly recommend Homeowners Collection!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation at Sabbatical. The house is in a great location, both close to the beach and the action. It is multi level, so there was a lot of up and down which would be my only negative. The view is great and the house has most of anything you need. The Homeowner’s Collection staff were also great and very accommodating, especially Brigitte.
