Somos una familia activa y amorosa y tenemos todo lo que necesita para que su estadía con sus amigos y familiares sea completa y agradable. Nuestra casa se encuentra en un parque de 1/2 acre como patio. Disfrute de las vistas desde la hamaca, la cubierta superior e inferior y la cancha deportiva ligera. Nuestra casa tiene una maravillosa vista panorámica desde arriba y abajo. Arriba tiene 2 dormitorios con camas king y queen, sala de estar con chimenea de gas y cocina con un control deslizante a la cubierta principal con barbacoa. Hay un patio delantero con una pequeña cascada para disfrutar de la sombra del verano. En la planta baja tiene 3 dormitorios, sala de estar con chimenea de gas, TV de sonido envolvente y DVD, Wii y cable, además de la lavandería. Tenemos colchones para más de 11 personas (incluido el colchón de aire Queen), pero estamos abiertos a más invitados dentro de lo razonable, si quieren dormir en una cama de aire Queen (incluida), un sofá de 10 pies o colchones dobles (también incluidos). Nuestra casa tiene aire acondicionado. Dentro de 1 milla se encuentra la entrada al US Open 2015, en el campo de golf Chambers Bay. Además, un centro comercial con Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Safeway y muchas oportunidades para comer (mexicano, chino, tailandés, pizza, McDonalds y más). El centro de Tacoma está a solo 15 minutos y ofrece varios museos, vida nocturna, cenas de alto nivel, un zoológico y mucho más. Nuestra región también ofrece muchas experiencias únicas desde observación de ballenas, paseos en ferry, senderismo en dos cadenas montañosas diferentes con toneladas de vida silvestre y cascadas, eventos deportivos y compras en Pikes Place Market. Wonderful property

This home is spacious and was well laid out for our family’s needs. The view of the sound is stunning, with a new and well appointed deck for enjoying it. The yard is large and had a swing set, slide and basketball/pickle ball court available. Our family had a great time meeting up there for a reunion. The owner is responsive and warm, with good communications.

Golfing/Family Time

East meets west. Great location to enjoy time with family. GA family meeting with Vancouver BC family. We were impressed with the views and all the space to spread out. The golf course/tournament was 5 minutes away. Grocery shopping and restaurants were really close. Hostess was extremely communicative and shared multiple restaurants to try. We felt like we were at home. Seattle airport was around an hour away.

Perfect fit, gorgeous view

This property fit our family perfectly! We loved the sport court, and the view off the deck was amazing (sunsets every evening). The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Stephanie is a great communicator and all went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Family wedding

We were in Tacoma for my sons wedding. We stayed here for 6 days before the wedding weekend. The house was plenty big to hold all of us 3 kids 5 adults and two nights an extra adult. The kids LOVED the sports court , they played tennis a few times a day every day and the littlest rode the little riding bikes. On the only rainy day we had the projector screen tv and Xbox games were a hit. The VIEW from the living room and kitchen and bedroom and the large big deck were amazing. Lots of outdoor furniture to sit on and enjoy the view and have a meal on the large outdoor table. Stephanie was always available for questions and any little problems that would pop up. She is a very pleasant friendly nice host. The neighborhood was wonderful, quiet and very walkable. We would definitely recommend this house and host and would stay here again if we came to Tacoma. Thanks Stephanie.

Devine Family Time

Family from across the country came together and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. We filled the place up and there were blankets and towels to spare. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outdoor spaces are unbelievably beautiful. Kiddos scootered, played basketball, and generally had a blast. The hosts were readily available and so kind. We highly HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home.

Fabulous view

Communication with owner was excellent, always responded promptly to any questions we had. Property was spacious in and out. Views of water and sunset were fabulous. House has everything you need, well equipped kitchen great front area and back deck for gathering and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. Loved it!

Xmas 2021

Family was able to safely gather in a spacious, warm, and well stocked home. Our stay coincided with significant snowfall and cold snap. The backyard served as a wonderful play area for kids, there were plenty of toys and books as well. Having grocery stores and playgrounds nearby was great. Communication with owner was clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend (or consider staying there again ourselves).

Unbelievable Property

We spent time in the area on a golf trip and had THE most incredible time at this home. Hosts were hospitable and we couldn’t have had a better time. The sport court and basketball hoop was well kept and an absolute blast!

Awesome view and great for families

Met up with two other families with small kids. The house was perfectly equipped for our crew. The backyard with sport court is so fun. The house has a common area on each floor so our kids chaos didn't overflow everywhere. And the views from the entire house are gorgeous. Host Stephanie was attentive and responsive. Great experience!

Beautiful location & wonderful home to stay at.

This is a location that is beautiful for the views overlooking the water & for stunning sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed the pickleball court and appreciated that paddles & balls were available (although, if you are a regular player, bring your own). Delightful having so many places to gather and visit. Photos represent each of the rooms accurately. Very generous for the owners to have a fully stocked kitchen, including spices, and lots of pots, pans & serving bowls. We rented this VRBO for a family wedding being held nearby and definitely will consider renting again in the future.

Awesome house, killer views, outstanding value.

Friends and I had a fantastic time staying at this property. The terraced yard and sport court were perfect for all the lawn games we brought with us. Mind-blowing views of the Puget Sound. A great time was had by all!

A Really Great House

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Owners are great and communication excellent. It was bigger than it looked in the pictures so even though we were a large group we fit with no problem. It was great to stay in a house that people live in as that meant the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and spices etc.... And it was decorated for Christmas! Great neighborhood close to stores. Would highly recommend this home and would stay there again.

Perfect Location for a Chambers Bay Wedding

Place With a View

A highlight of a stay at this location is the view of Puget Sound, both from inside the house and from the deck & patio. The sport court is also a real plus for a group with children. Location is very good and the owner was very prompt and receptive to any communication.

Puget sound paradise!

First of all, Stephanie is a wonderful host. Prior to arrival she answered questions, sent us a Tacoma magazine, suggested things to do, places to see and did all she could to make our stay wonderful. A couple of minor issues came up during our stay and she was very prompt in answering and all was solved in just a few texts! Now, when we first walked in through the door, the vista before us was breathtaking. Mere words cannot describe the beauty of Puget Sound in the daylight, let alone at sunset. The house was spotless and rooms were sorted out to all the family...13 of us! No one complained about anything. The kitchen is well-appointed as are the dining areas. The deck became a huge favorite for all of us. How lovely to sip a glass of wine whilst looking over God's creation. We had 4 grandchildren with us and they enjoyed sleeping in the play room bunkbeds. Not all our family lives in one state, so these kiddos got to visit and be together in the same room! We also had a baby with us and the pack and play was great. The jungle gym in the back yard was well-loved by the littles. The tennis court was a hit as well. They have a large family, so the house is situated for a lot of movement, relaxing and fun. I really don't know what more to say than all of us had a wonderful time, we laughed, cooked, played games, watched the littles play together and enjoyed a vacation that we will never forget. Thank you, Stephanie for allowing us to stay in your lovely home and making this family reunion/vacation as wonderful as it was! We all definitely recommend this property as a home away from home in Puget Sound! Mary and family!

We are a busy, active family of seven, and this is our primary home during the school year. In the summer months, when we travel, we enjoy opening our home to guests and sharing a space that has been thoughtfully cared for and truly lived in. Because this is our family home, it is not a typical vacation rental, it is comfortable, well-equipped, and designed for gathering and relaxation.

Guests are welcome to use many of the everyday items throughout the house, from the fully stocked kitchen to the inviting indoor and outdoor living spaces we enjoy ourselves.

The home offers multiple living areas and plenty of room to spread out while still spending quality time together. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the setting is peaceful and private, and we kindly ask guests to be respectful of our home and our neighbors. We hope guests feel at ease here and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere as much as we do.

We chose this neighborhood for the combination of space, convenience, and community. The large yard gave our kids room to play and gather, while the quiet residential setting made it ideal for raising a family. At the same time, we’re close to the local high school, Trader Joe’s, a neighborhood bakery, Chambers Bay, and downtown Tacoma, which makes everyday life easy and connected. Our home naturally became a place for hosting friends, youth group, and enjoying games on the sports court, and we continue to love the balance of peaceful living with nearby amenities.
