Crear recuerdos familiares en nuestra casa limpia y remodelado que es el hogar de una de plata Lagos mejores propiedades frente a la playa. Las aguas del lago de plata son muy limpias y cálidas para su disfrute. Esta casa cuenta con 2 dormitorios y 1 baño. La habitación de los padres tiene una cama de matrimonio, la habitación de los niños está configurado con 3 camas individuales. Un sofá cama y un futón completo también están disponibles. Se proporcionan todas las camas y ropa de baño. La cocina está totalmente amueblada y equipada con microondas, lavavajillas, refrigerador grande, estufa y horno. La planta baja cuenta con una sala de sol para disfrutar de un café o un cóctel por la noche la mañana. Ambos niveles tienen aire acondicionado de ventana. The beach house was perfect for our week-long stay. The internet was fast enough to be able to work from home. The lake is clean and great for swimming. We enjoyed all of the extras like the kayaks, paddle boards and tubes.

Beautiful cottage!

Loved our stay! Clean and cute cottage, friendly owners. The cottage had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, towels, etc, plus lots of games and toys for the kids. Silver Lake is always clean and warm

What a beautiful and clean home with everything you could need. The views were magnificent and the amenities were above expectations. It’s a must book for future families.

Wonderful hosts and great for time on the lake or exploring other parts of northern Michigan!

We had a great stay. Dave and Ellen were fantastic hosts. Nothing but great things to stay about them and their cottage. You can tell they take great pride in keeping the house and their property spotless. We stayed for a week and divided our time between hanging out on Silver Lake and exploring Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Crystal Lake and Frankfort, all of which are anywhere from 15 minutes to 40 minutes of the house.

Can't wait to come back!

Our stay here was top-notch! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Lots of personal touches and you can tell they really care about making your stay the best it can be! Kitchen was fully stocked (I was actually surprised by how well stocked it was) and they provided everything you could need! Clean, quiet, and all around great- we really loved being able to relax on the water. We loved our stay at Ellen and Dave's place so much, we're already talking about when we can plan another trip! :)

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a fantastic week at Sandy Beach Cottage! Dave and Ellen were exceptional hosts and have truly thought of everything when setting up their rental experience. The home is more than fully equipped! It was clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in. The location in relation to Traverse City was perfect. Not too close to deal with traffic, but close enough to go in to downtown for dinner, shopping, etc. We would highly recommend this property and these hosts!

Welcoming and Beautiful Lake Home

First time to up north Michigan! What a beautiful area. Our visit was great and Dave and Ellen were accommodating and welcoming from the time we arrived with our two kids under 5 yo—small inviting touches like welcome messages on the sidewalk and beach. The lake cottage has everything you need for a vacation with family. Ellen and Dave have thought about everything. They were willing to do anything to make our visit enjoyable despite June's cool temperatures and rainy days. We will definitely be back.

The perfect Summer get away!

David and Ellen were the perfect host and set the perfect escape for family. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and knew it was going to be a special stay. We were in town for our son's graduation and David and Ellen left him personalized signs congratulating him. There were even home cooked brownies for our 9 year old daughter. When we looked out the window to the perfect beach and lake view, we realized all the lake toys were included. The kids had a great time in the water and my wife and I enjoyed all the relaxing spaces created to sit and watch them. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a stay here. D-

Best Little Lake House

From the moment we got to the house till we left, Dave and Ellen were the best hosts! They made sure our stay was enjoyable and we're so kind to let us know of a local baseball game that we took our kids too. The house was very clean and had everything you'd need. We brought our 2 young boys (6 & 2) and they absolutely loved all the toys in the house and the beach area. The kayaks and row boat were a plus, we were able to enjoy those often during our stay. My husband and son enjoyed fishing off the dock every morning cathing rock bass and blue gill. This truly is the best location. We would enjoy quiet days at the lake then in the evenings we would drive to downtown Traverse City to eat and go to the park (only a short 12 minute drive). Book it if it's available, your won't regret it! Thanks again Dave and Ellen for your hospitality

Nice vacation property

Excellent location on Silver Lake with many amenities provided by the owners. Nice beachfront location with dock, tubes, kayaks, firepit, and the cottage is well stocked with everything you may need for an enjoyable stay. Cottage has family rooms on both floors, which gave our teenagers space of their own. The owners live next door and are very friendly and welcoming. Recommend.

Excellent Experience!

Our stay here was exceptional! The property is exactly as described. The owners are fabulous and have thought of and provided everything to make your stay worry free. Their attention to detail is outstanding and the personal touches were everywhere. We especially enjoyed making home cooked breakfasts, spending time kayaking or just floating on the lake, and several game nights. The neighborhood is quiet and the area easy to navigate. We spent time at Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mackinac Island, and in the Manistee area. The owners and property are among the best of the best. We couldn’t have asked for a more fulfilling stay. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend!!!

the place was stocked with essentials, very clean and well organized hosts Dave and Ellen were very accomodating of my last minute booking and went out of their way to make sure it went smooth the view here is better than the pics, I wish I had more time there will not look elsewhere when I am in the area again (unless of course it's booked due to all the happy returns)

Great Getaway

Home away from home

We had a lovely time all thanks to Dave and Ellen. They take immense pride in their home and what they do and it really shows. When we booked the reservation we received a call from Dave thanking us for booking with them and just introducing himself. I thought that was such a nice gesture! When we arrived for our trip we were greeted by our hosts and a welcome side walk chalk display, brownies, and a special note on the kitchen table. They are the most welcoming family and we felt like it was a home away from home. The home is extremely clean and it is evident a lot of time was spent to be Covid conscience. The house has everything you could possibly need during your trip. Everything! We will most definitely be back! I highly recommend this property, just a wonderful experience. Thank you for opening your home to us Dave and Ellen!

Wonderful family vacation

This rental was great! The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need. The private beach was well maintained and my kids loved playing there. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boats. The cabin was extremely clean. The owners are easy to deal with and very responsive to anything you might need. Great location.

Wonderful in every way

Hard to overstate how much we enjoyed our vacation to Traverse City and our stay with David and Ellen. They are wonderful hosts and they take pride in making you feel welcome and in providing little extras that are so lovely. We have young kids and the place was perfect for our family. I’d highly recommend it.

Our new home away from home.

Dave and Ellen were fantastic hosts who had everything we could possibly imagine and some. This was our first family vacation with our two kids ( 3 years old and 1 year old). My daughter had the time of her life playing on the beach every day and my wife and I both had tears in our eyes as we were backing out of the driveway to head home on our last day… We know now we do not have to pack half of the stuff we did this time and we can not wait to return next year.

Memorial Weekend 2021

Myself and 3 other ladies stayed at this property for memorial weekend and it was amazing. The owners are super nice and gave us the tour of the cottage when we got there. Ellen was super sweet and made all of us brownies. The breach front was very nice and clean. Very asscessible driveway.

Great location, excellent host

Our family of four stayed for the week. Never have I seen such a well stocked house. If you forgot it no worries Ellen & Dave more than likely have it there for you. Great location Minutes from TC downtown and a short drive to the dunes. Can’t wait for our next trip.

Perfect Location and Hosts

Check in was great and came with a plate of delicious brownies (thanks Ellen!)! The cottage was everything we were looking for from a short family trip: beautiful lake, close to Traverse City, & quiet. You can tell Dave and Ellen have done this not only for a while but also with a view of always making their guest’s experience as great as possible. They asked for our feedback and you can see in the way the cottage is prepared/setup/stocked that they have listened to many other visitors. Anything you need is probably there, will certainly stay here again!
