A menos de 200 pasos del acceso costero más cercano y del surf de clase mundial, cerca del centro de la ciudad y a 10 minutos a pie del famoso paseo marítimo, la playa principal de Santa Cruz y el muelle municipal. Slice of heaven- cottage by the ocean

This cottage is adorable! It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The ocean is right around the corner with peeks of the ocean from the cottage. Short walk to the pier and Boardwalk. We will definitely stay here again!

Oceanside Haven

Spent a week in lovely 1 bedroom with full kitchen. I enjoyed easy access to ocean, bike trails, and the delightful Shrine coffee shop. The fenced patio is a real plus if you are traveling with your dog. I met so many friendly dog folks on our walks each day. Khristina is a wonderful host and I would definitely stay there again.

Great Little Spot

We were a late booking and Khristina was so easy to contact and work out the last minute logistics. I really appreciated that she text us to see how our first night was and if we needed anything. We just loved this quiet, clean, and perfect little cottage for a sister(s) get away.

Great santa cruz cottage

Cottage was beautiful, comfy and quiet. The location could not have been more perfect for my time in Santa Cruz. Such a beautiful place right on west cliff drive. Host was awesome.

Perfect getaway

Perfect beautiful space. My husband, puppy, and myself went for two weeks. Husband went home early and I stayed and felt so safe and relaxed. Close to everything. Enjoyed walking and being at the Ocean.The cottage was just remodeled and it beautiful!

Dreamy, Magical, Luxurious

The owner was friendly and very welcoming of our fur-baby! The bathroom, kitchen, living room had all the comforts of home. Each were stocked thoughfully. The location was spectacular and walkable! We saw whale 3 days in a row!! Highly recommend ed. Thelocationlocatiospectacular.

This was a great property in an outstanding location. The cottage was nicely appointed with top of the line amenities. This is a very private location with hostess who knows the true meaning of hospitality.

Delightful

Victorian on the outside, clean, comfortable, and modern inside. As 80 year old visitors, there are a couple of items, especially grab bars in the bathroom, we would like, but we managed. We could hear the seal lions day and night, and walk to both the lighthouse, or to the waterfront. Beautiful neighborhood, great restaurants nearby!

Great Stay in Santa Cruz

We loved staying in this cottage. It is located near West Cliff and the boardwalk, yet set out of the way, where you have more peace and privacy. Our elderly dog had a great time sniffing the sea air on the patio. Khristina is a perfect host.

Spring Break

Lovely place to stay and a great location. Perfect for a couple. Only thing to consider changing is the couch. Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the place perfect. Loved the closed in patio. Beautiful bathroom too!

Perfect for an extended stay in Santa Cruz

We had a wonderful 3-week stay at Epworth Cottage. The cottage was lovely, with high ceilings, a nicely equipped kitchen, and a separate bedroom with a comfortable mattress. The location is superb: set back a little from the street for privacy and quiet, but convenient to Lighthouse Field State Beach with its great views of surfers at Steamer Lane and all of Monterey Bay; Steamer Lane Supply for coffee and breakfast or lunch; and Its Beach for our dog. Khristina was not only dog-friendly, but also kind and accommodating when we arrived during an “atmospheric river” storm. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the area.

Charming cottage, great location

The cottage is charming and comfortable. Has everything needed for a short or long stay. Location is close to West Cliff and within easy walking distance of the wharf and Boardwalk. Host is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location.

Quaint and Comfortable

Beautiful cottage so close to the ocean you can hear the sea lions on the wharf! Gorgeous landscaping that brought in the hummingbirds. The home was well equipped with very nice kitchen, soap and linen choices. We walked the ocean edge path and also to breakfast and dinner often. Santa Cruz is a great place for day trips from redwoods to beaches and sea towns. Our host was very friendly and responsive.

Perfect Location

This may be the the best location for a visit in coastal California. West Cliff’s walking path is steps away, Natural Bridges State park and it’s small cafe is the perfect compliment to the beach scene. The cottage was an iconic Victorian, something that represent the charm of Santa Cruz. It had everything needed for our weekend stay. Plus, it was private and quiet with it tucked away on an enormous property. We have already recommended it to friends and family.

Homeowner is an extrovert, but takes cues from guests as to how much interaction they would like. I live in the main house, and am available to guests 24/7 to answer any questions you may have about local attractions and activities. Observation of privacy can be expected at all times.

Location, location, location! This property is centrally located, and works out very well for those that are interested in experiencing and exploring our beautiful central coast. There is ample room in the adjacent garage (shared space) for the storage of bikes, kayaks, surfboards, or other items you may be bringing with you. Beach towels provided. Private, sunny patio perfect for enjoying morning coffee. Pet friendly, and very well suited for extended stays. Monthly bookings are 30+ nights in duration, and qualify for our lowest rates.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Private, stand alone unit with no shared walls. We are close enough to the water that one can easy hear the waves crashing at night, and the occasional barking of the sea lions. :-) We are quite literally less than 250 steps from the nearest coastal access point (Cowell's Beach steps). Full service beach with facilities (showers, bathrooms, etc) is less than 1/4 mile away, and a 10 minute walk. Pet friendly, and four legged visitors seem to love the area as well! Please ask in advance about applicable fees when traveling with your animal companion. Also, we believe in legitimacy, and in providing our guests with peace of mind in knowing that we faithfully observe all rules and taxation principles required in our local Zoning ordinance. Our City of Santa Cruz STR permit number is 18-0089, TOT permit number is 001111.
