Set on a hill in the small, charming tropical town of Sayulita, overlooking the beautiful Pacific coastline of Mexico, Casa Dos Chicos is a unique vacation home available year round for weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. This newly renovated villa on the Riviera Nayarit, with 360 degree views and its own lush garden, features four beautifully decorated suites, a swimming pool, a tree-top Jacuzzi with ocean views, and a Mexican-style open air living area which includes a rooftop living room and kitchen/dining room dramatically linked by a bridge. This one-of-kind property has views not only of the ocean and coastline but also of the lush foothills of the Sierra Madre and the energetic town of Sayulita which surrounds it. Each of the colorful accommodations has its own bathroom with shower, king size bed, fan, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. All rooms share views of the walled garden, pool, town, and surrounding hills. The house and grounds provide a private retreat high above the town and the sea, which at the same time is only a short walk to all the local charm Sayulita has to offer. This three thousand square foot home, which can sleep up to ten, offers the best of both worlds: it is at once your own hideaway and a gateway to the delightful town of Sayulita, known for its languid pace, smiling attitude, and happy-go-lucky approach to life. Beautiful stay

The place was in a great location and a beautiful home. Walkability to the main city center and a yoga place within a 5 minute walk was great. We did have an issue with door keys going missing but the house manager was very responsive to all communications. Not a great place for kids (the railing would be dangerous) but excellent for a friend group.

Travelers Beware

While the pictures are stunning and the views are incredible, our stay at Casa Dos Chicos was more of a nightmare. From the start, the communication was slow. Upon arrival, the security was tight around the house because the neighborhood did not seem safe and the noise was so loud we had trouble sleeping. The walk to the beach was filled with odd looks, trash on the streets and stray dogs. We traveled with our children and had to stay in the room with them as the bedroom doors led to exterior stairs inside the gated home. We were excited for the said heated pool and hot tub, but the pool was NOT heated, more like a polar plunge. The hot tub was only heated at night from 6-7pm (warm) 10-11pm (hot), which was listed in the house details we received a week before going! With children and the "cold tub" on the third floor, we constantly were worried about slipping and falling through the 3rd story railings (not up to US Code). With everything outside, there were stray cats and lizards roaming through our kitchen. Gross. There is currently Norovirus spreading through Sayulita due to the sewage leak pipe, so the beaches, ocean and restaurants are not safe for your stomachs! We had to evacuate to another town to get out of Sayulita and see a doctor for all nine of us. Travelers beware!

Wonderful property

Great place to stay! The property is beautiful & though Sayulita is wonderful, we found ourselves hanging out at the house because it was so welcoming. Coffee on the top level is glorious. The housekeeping staff came everyday & cleaned up any needed (so nice to not even have to do dishes! ). We enjoyed the walk to town though the hills are a bit steep & only actually used the golf carts a couple of times since parking in Sayulita is hard. The hosts took care of arranging airport transportation & the golf carts which was also so nice! We would definitely stay here again.

Better in person

The property itself is amazing in person! The pictures don't really demonstrate how big it is and how secluded you feel from the street and neighboring houses. The view out to the ocean during the sunset and there were a lot of places to lounge around. The location is also great. Super easy to walk 6-7 minutes down to the main area. We also rented golf carts that the property manager, Ernesto, helped coordinate so that we could easily bring back up snacks and large jugs of water without any hassle.

Stunning Views

This was the most amazing and memorable vacation. The location of the house was so convenient to town. We rented golf carts to get around. The setting was breathtaking. The rooms were gorgeous as well as the pool, and outdoor living areas. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect Luxury Rental to Compliment Charming Town

OMG. Casa Dos Chicos exceeded our expectations and then some. The house is super chic with a stunning view of Sayulita. Each room is unique, yet coordinated and well stocked with hand soap, shampoo, and fluffy Ralph Lauren towels (nice touch, btw.) Kitchen is also well stocked for those looking to cook and dine at home. The pool is surrounded in beautiful landscaping, but it was mostly in the shade and a tad chilly during our stay. I think it would be perfect on a hot summer day. We spent the majority of our time lounging in the hot tub with the beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was excellent and offered top notch service. Ernesto helped arranged our airport transfers, and scheduled our wonderful rooftop massages from Nirvanna Spa! Honestly, we didn't feel like we needed to leave the house, but Sayulita is too cute and charming to skip. The walk to the town/beach is about 15 minutes! We really loved Sayulita and truly enjoyed our stay. We are already talking about coming back to Casa Dos Chicos with more girlfriends! Thanks guys!

Wonderful, relaxed Mexican getaway!

Thanks so much Patrizio! We had an AMAZING time...all the girls (6!) said it was the perfect vacation. Manager Leila was so helpful (arriving to a fully stocked fridge and bar is pretty ideal), Tanis an excellent yoga instructor and the chefs, Maga & Mel, came up with the perfect meals for us. We really appreciated all of it. Thanks for creating such a lovely getaway. We were so busy enjoying the house, we didn't get a chance to surf so we'll have to go back!!! I have my sights set on Domus Civita next! Thank you again!

Thank you Patrizio. We had an incredible experience in Sayulita. The house was so great - we hardly ever wanted to leave! When we were able to get out, we saw some amazing beaches and ate delicious food! Everyone in our group had an amazing time. Sayulita and Casa Dos Chicos are definitely special places!

We loved it!

Casa dos Chicos was a great surprise and discovery. We loved spending a week there! It was very recently restored and everything in the house is so beautifully designed and appointed. The staff is wonderful and the whole house and gounds impeccably kept. Our favorite is the wonderful tropical garden overflowing with amazing plants and flowers...the pool is dropped right in the middle of this and really a dream to swim in. Sayulita is great fun with loys of shops and restaurants + even better street food! The beaches, especially the ones next to the main one are gorgeous. we did horse back riding, surfing and hiking in the jungle and our kids loved every minute of it. we will be back for sure. Thank you

Unforgettable Vacation

We are an Italian Family with 2 teenage girls and we spent a wonderful, unforgettable vacation at Casa Dos Chicos in December 2010! From this enchanting and luxurious villa you can enjoy 360 breathtaking views of the countryside and ocean and admire beautifully colored birds and Iguanas everywhere on the surrounding tropical trees. At the top of the house we had lovely breakfasts everyday with local Sayulita sweets, we bathed in the Hot tub with ocean view and spent beautiful moments in the open air living room on the comfy sofas and the delightful hammocks. The 4 bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and each unique and very private + with its own bath! At the garden level there’s a heated pool surrounded by a garden of tropical flowers where we relaxed every afternoon in full privacy. Every morning we made the beautiful walk to town and the beach where the atmosphere is the most authentic Mexican we ever experienced. Casa Dos Chicos is a not to be missed dreamy adventure!

Wonderful Stay

What a wonderful spot this is! The house is beautifully designed with modern minimal aesthetics combined with the vibrant Mexican colors. Every choice is exquisite! The views and breezes from the roof top living room and kicthen are delightiful! We spent every afternoon after coming back from the beach in the beautiful heated pool and then in the hot tub after every dinner meal! Paradise! We can't wait to come back! Oh, and did i mention the town is a blast? great food, great energy and great boutiques!
