Antigua iglesia histórica en el corazón del casco antiguo

Bienvenido a The Sanctuary of Fort Collins. Construido en 1902 y designado por la Ciudad de Fort Collins como un hito histórico, esta propiedad tiene la distinción única de ser el hogar de siete iglesias diferentes en sus más de 100 años de historia. Compramos la propiedad parcialmente renovada en 2012, completamos la renovación en los próximos años y desde entonces la hemos convertido en nuestra casa de huéspedes a tiempo completo. Cuenta con elementos arquitectónicos de época correcta, conserva sus pisos de madera originales y vidrieras, y aún ofrece las comodidades modernas de hoy. Hemos hecho todo lo posible para que esta propiedad sea única y haga que su estadía sea lo más placentera posible.

Hay tres dormitorios, cada uno con su propio baño y todos en niveles separados. El nivel principal de la casa cuenta con una cocina comedor, el dormitorio principal y el baño, un medio baño adicional y la sala de estar formal, que cuenta con la abuela Steinway de mi abuela, que data de finales de la década de 1920. El loft de arriba cuenta con una sala de juegos y el segundo dormitorio y baño. El sótano cuenta con una sala multimedia, bodega, área de oficinas, sala de lavandería y el tercer dormitorio y baño. Afuera encontrará un pintoresco patio, un cenador y un espacio en el patio para cenar al aire libre o simplemente disfrutar del jardín.

Si hay algo que podamos hacer para que su estadía sea más placentera, infórmenos. Vivimos al lado y estamos felices de ayudar cuando podamos. Tenga en cuenta que la cochera y el garaje no están disponibles para alquilar y pueden ser ocupados por nuestros propios huéspedes durante su estancia. Sin embargo, no espere interrupciones si este fuera el caso.

I fell in love with this unique property! The history is so interesting, as is the house. It offered plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and great places to gather (patio, dining room, media room). The location is perfect - so close to Old Town/CSU and the neighborhood is delightful! We had a great stay, and my first time to enjoy a welcome treat!

Get me to the church on time!

The place was convenient, well equipped, clean and interesting. We were out a lot and would have liked to stayed put and enjoyed the home more! But we were there for our daughter's wedding and that was spectacular. So great trip for all!

Fantastic Property!!

This is our third time staying at the church, and we cannot say enough good things. Mark and Denise are excellent hosts. The location cannot be beat and the house is a one of a kind. Most important for us as my wife has chronic joint issue: the master bed is extremely comfortable!! I would highly recommend this property.

Exceptional Stay: Perfect blend of comfort and class!

My family and I recently stayed in this home for 5 nights and we highly recommend it. The location was ideal-peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Our host, Mark, was incredible regarding communication. The home itself was extremely spacious, warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. It was clear the hosts put great care into every detail- anything we could possibly need was already there, from kitchen essentials and (start-up) coffee, to cozy blankets and complimentary home-made cookies upon arrival. We truly felt like guests in a well-loved home rather than renters. An exceptional experience all around! Thank you so much for having us, Mark! We'd love to return the next time we plan a trip to Fort Collins!

Family Visit

This was our second stay at this property; last time was 2 years ago. Lovely large home, plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 infant. Great location, walkable to playground at local library and to Old Town. Nice outdoor space on patio.Gracious hosts!

Perfection

What a gorgeous place! We were in town for five days and it quickly felt like home. Three different floors with plenty of room for us all. A great kitchen and dining room where we gathered every morning and evening. Beautiful patio, nice furnishings, comfortable beds. So much attention to detail in every room. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's gorgeous yet comfortable, spacious yet cozy.

Well appointed.

Mark and Denise have added many special touches to this beautiful home including plenty of wooden hangers in the master closet, well stocked bathroom toiletries, and first class kitchen. It was the perfect home for our family with grown children. Lots of privacy with all bedrooms on a different floor. And the backyard was adorable. One of our best VRBO experiences!

This is the perfect place for an extended family to stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Love the character behind the house. The extra touches from the owners make your stay very comfortable. Homemade cookies at check in, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, makeup remover, and so much more to list. Definitely home away from home. Location and parking was awesome. Definitely will come back.

Perfect Fort Collins Property

This old town gem is the perfect space for a group traveling together. Each of the three floors has its own separate bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is not only well stocked but extremely organized. The bathrooms have extras of most basic items you may have forgotten. The owners are nearby and great to work with. This is our second time staying here but definitely not our last.

Great stay in Fort Collins!

My family of 4 had a great stay while visiting for Thanksgiving. Mark is a WONDERFUL host. Communication was great and we were greeted with cookies and a clean, warm home with the lights on! This fun, unique, house had everything we needed - plenty of room for our family, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, comfortable beds, extra toiletries, and plenty of room to store our food and clothing. It snowed the day we were leaving and Mark shoveled all the walkways for us! Looking forward to staying here again next time we’re in Fort Collins.

The Sanctuary

This stunning home surpassed all expectations. From the numerous living spaces to the beautiful courtyard, we had more than enough room to spread out and relax when we weren’t out enjoying everything Fort Collins has to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was in perfect condition. Coffee was provided for the Keurig machine which was appreciated by all. Each bathroom was exceptionally clean had a nice assortment of toiletries. Mark and Denise take great pride in their property and were great hosts!

50th Roommate Reunion

We had a great stay, the provisions were great. The only short comings were: 1) We couldn't locate any cushions for the patio chairs. 2) The downstairs bed was way too soft, one person had to sleep on the couch because she couldn't tolerate it but that worked just fine for her. Knives weren't real sharp, but that's minor. It was a beautiful home.

Exceptional property

We loved staying here. Location was perfect, house was spotlessly clean, all the beds were extremely comfortable, the steam shower felt great after our busy days, lots of amenities, and the hosts were great. We would stay again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Property With Great Amenities

This is a lovely property on a tree-lined street. The bedroom and living areas were comfortable and allowed for privacy. Walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend the property.

Beautiful property in great location

We lead an active life and are highly engaged in the community, routinely enjoying all this city has to offer and volunteering our time to give back to the community. Our interests are wide and include traveling, food and wine, music, the arts, fitness, and outdoor recreation. We are both Colorado State alumni, manage multiple business interests and have two children.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We fell in love with this property for its location and its history. We had looked at purchasing this property while it was still a church a few years prior knowing that we would one day be moving back to Fort Collins, but thought the renovation would be too difficult a project to manage from out of state. When we were transitioning back to Colorado and saw that the church had been partially renovated and was again for sale, we had to see it. Once we saw the attention to detail that had been given towards the project thus far, we decided it was meant to be. We completed the renovation and considered turning it into a bed and breakfast, but decided that a guest house would be a better option for us in our current place in life. All furnishings, with the exception of some family heirlooms are new and carefully selected with your comfort in mind. It is our hope that this becomes a place you will want to return to again.

We offer both short-term and discounted long-term rentals. We are happy to help with prearrangements such as stocking the house with groceries, trip planning advice, restaurant reservations or other special requests such as providing optional cleaning services for long-term rentals or breakfasts for special occasions. We stock the house with basic toiletries and water bottles in the fridge.
