The place was Fabulous! Super comfortable for the family. My son spent most of his day in the pool having a complete blast. A couple things were broken but were repaired quickly when management was notified and nothing that impacted our stay negatively in any way. Come stay and you will have a blast too!

For once a property that looked like the website photos! The condo configuration was perfect for our group. It was clean and well-appointed with everything you would need for a wonderful stay. Kitchen, bathrooms, washer/dryer, linens and room furnishings were in tip-top shape. Pre-check in information was prompt and accurate. Would definitely booked H404 again!

Amazing ocean view

The property was clean. We had everything we needed to make meals. Safeway is just across the street, which is very convenient. The kids had fun sitting out on the balcony, playing games, and enjoying the ocean view. Easy to get anywhere on the island from this location.

A+ Location

The property was in a great location. Within close proximity to so many things. Lots of restaurants or fast food available within walking distance. In the lobby we rented bikes for $25 and we rode all over. Lots of families at this property with small children. They loved the water slides. The pool can get pretty noisy and there aren't many quiet spots for adults only. If you are looking for a quiet pool experience this isn't the place. The adult only hot tubs seemed to always have small children in them with their parents, so that was a negative that they ignored the signs.

Kappa Get Away

The unit was advertised as having 2 king beds but one had substituted for Queens. The rest of the furniture was not changed to fit the space ie the bed side tables had to be turned sideways so drawer storage not usable. The wall sconces were removed and stored in the closet but wall holes still in the walls. This unit is in need of serious updating as it shows heavy wear and tear. The view is as advertised and couldn’t be better.

Just lovely. Entirely perfect. My only critique would be an updated mattress in the pull out sofa and more toilet paper. Apparently they aren’t allowed to stock salt, which is unfortunate. Can’t wait to go back. Beautiful view. Great pool. Safeway across the street was super convenient.

Great location

Resort is really nice. However, the suite needed some updated maintenance. Had to call property management several times to correct several issues. For example, clothes dryer stopped working (needs to be replaced), and needed to continually reset electric outlet for it to work. Similarly, no instructions available on locking and using this particular room safe and there were no sheets for the fold-out couch bed and it hadn't been cleaned (crumbs everywhere).

The condo was as pictured. Wonderful amenities and centrally located on the island which is nice. Everything you need is also within walking distance. The grounds and the beach are also very nice. Communication with the manager was very good for all our needs. Definitely recommend!

Family Vacation in Kapaa

Great central location on Kauai and a first class property. The pool and family hot tub were the hit of the week with our 2-1/2 year old grandson. There was a Monk Seal sleeping on the beach the last afternoon so we were able to see wildlife up close.

Everything was as I expected. Great location, great room and resort. If I had a complaint it would be with the reataurant Oasis. They were only open for dinner and even that wasnt consistant.

Awesome Accomodations!

The unit was in a great location within the complex - a great view of the ocean as well as the pool area. The layout of the unit was awesome for 2 couples - having 2 King beds with ensuites on both rooms was perfect! The pool area was well maintained on a daily basis and there were always chairs available. The location of the resort was perfect for our 1st visit to the island - it was easy to find coming from the airport late at night, and it was a reasonable distance to all parts of the island when we wanted to explore. The weather was not always favorable, but we still enjoyed our vacation. Would highly recommend this property.

Magnificent stay

The property was beautiful, just like the pictures. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. I would never tire of the spectacular view. A great view of the pool to people watch and an awesome view of the beach and sunrise. We will definitely be back. There is so much to do that a week was not enough time.

Nice Resort

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is very nice resort for the money on the east side of Kauai. It's in the middle of Kapaa, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. If you want to be out of the way of things, this is not a great location for you. We liked being in the middle of town and enjoyed the conveniences, but not the very heavy traffic. Note the beach here is not suited for swimming. In fact, we had to go to the north or south ends of the islands to find beaches where we could really be in the water. We knew this going in, so it was fine and the pool was a lot of fun. As far as the unit, it was nice but had some maintenance issues that were never resolved. Note that this unit is not run by the resort, but a separate property management company. While I might recommend the resort, I would not recommend this unit for that reason. It's too bad because it's nicely situation with a view of the pool and beach, but we did not have a functioning dishwasher the entire stay (this was over Christmas so a big deal not to have a dishwasher) and the sleeper sofa was the worst I've ever seen in the many many rentals I've stayed in. We had to go buy a foam pad for my son to be able to sleep on it. They did send a maintenance team for the dishwasher, but not until calling multiple times and the maintenance folks couldn't fix it. We asked for some of our money back to compensate for the inconvenience and the additional meals we ate out due to the hassle, but never received a reply.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The manager was friendly, helpful, available. Parking was pretty good. The location is wonderful with a beautiful view, the ocean to the right, the pool area to the left. There are people working on the grounds and pool areas all the time and it shows. It's very well-maintained. Three hot tubs, pools, and a slide, plus a barbecue area! Inside, the kitchen is nicely stocked and everything is easy to get to. It's nice to have a washer and dryer! Laundry soap is supplied, but bring some dryer sheets. The lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms is great (with one exception, see below)! The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. Cons: The unit needs a little TLC. Our dresser drawer was hanging open a couple inches and wouldn't close, there was a stain in the bathtub, lightbulbs burned out, lamps and TV not plugged in when we arrived, things like that, enough small things that combined to start to give this unit a slightly tired feel. The biggest issue we had was the lighting in the bedrooms and living was dark and almost depressing. The bulb wattages must be really low. Please get some brighter LED bulbs or something! Reading was difficult. The light in the little room with our toilet and shower was so dim that it was like taking a shower in a dungeon, but the rest of the bathroom was fine. The table in the living room under the TV has no light close to it, so it's not even usable for anything at night. All in all, we would probably stay here again.
