We understand how frustrating and disappointing it must have been to discover that the elevator serving your building was out of service and that this affected your ability to fully enjoy the resort and its amenities. Please understand that we do not have control over the management, maintenance, or day-to-day operations of Waipouli Beach Resort, including the elevators and other common-area facilities. While we manage the vacation rental unit, the resort's shared facilities are maintained by the resort association and management. Unfortunately, the elevator outage was beyond our control. According to the resort's management, the elevator was scheduled to be up and running on June 1. Hence, the reason why you were notified as soon as we learned the project had been delayed. Our goal is always to help make our guests' stays as enjoyable as possible, and we are happy to assist with concerns that are within our ability to address. We regret that the situation did not meet your expectations and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. Should you decide to visit Kauai again in the future, we would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in us and would be pleased to offer a significant return-guest discount.
