We had an amazing time relaxing on the beach all week, was just what we needed! The house was wonderful & very clean, the site does not do it justice! The host was very responsive & helpful, would definitely make this house our annual MI point!

Great Family Vacation

Our week-long stay at this beautiful lakefront A-frame was absolutely perfect for our group of friends and family. The weather couldn't have been better, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning lake views and outdoor activities. What made this trip truly special was watching all the kids play together throughout the week, building sandcastles, splashing in the water, and creating those precious childhood memories that will last a lifetime. The house provided the ideal backdrop for bringing everyone together, and we're already talking about making this an annual tradition. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental experience and would highly recommend this property to other families looking for a memorable getaway.

Perfect!

Sibling weekend with my sister and brother! The home was just as described. We walked the beach, collected rocks and painted them just like we did with our grandparents as kids. Perfect location and we all want to come back! Thank you!

Wonderful vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this home! It has everything you might ever need or want as well as water “toys” like kayaks and paddle boards. We loved it and are already reserved for next year.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the Port Sanilac house. The house is beautiful and the beach was perfect for our family. The house is well stocked with necessities and they are generous with 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks. Wi-Fi is listed but for the most part is unusable. Couldn’t stream so no tv. We just took this time to be unplugged. High chair is listed but not available. You’re about 5 minutes from a small town and 20 minutes from Walmart. We made many happy memories here.

50th Anniversary Lake Celebration

We needed a place to stay for a couple of days to celebrate our friends' 50th Anniversary and to keep them away from their own home where a big surprise celebration was being set up. This place was PERFECT! Comfortable beautiful home, spotlessly clean, located right on the beach with big beautiful windows to view the gorgeous sunrises and lake. We couldn't have asked for anything better! We hope to return some day.

Beautiful Home on the Beach

We've rented many homes/cottages along Lake Huron for the past 25 years and this house was my favorite. The house itself is so tastefully decorated and updated. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us to spread out. I liked that 3 of the bedrooms were upstairs since we have some very early risers in our family and some who like to sleep in on their vacation. The beds were all very comfortable as well as the furniture. The linens were also clean and high quality. I loved the bathrooms! The showers were so large. The beach was perfect for our young grandchildren. There's also plenty of grassy yard area for them to play. The shed is full of toys and even a few kayaks and paddleboards. We had a gorgeous bonfire on the beach. We were lucky enough to witness a spectacular full moon on the water. Just breathtaking. Only one small suggestion would be to move a few large rocks or put in a few small steps to climb up safely from the beach. Hoping to come back to this beautiful home. Thank you to our hosts for your hospitality! My husband wanted me to add that we have never stayed at a place on the beach that had such clean windows!

Perfect beach house

This beautiful beach house, located just steps from Lake Huron, was perfectly appointed and immaculate. The open floor plan, and comfortable bedrooms made the home a perfect getaway for our family, with room to spare. This home has gorgeous sunrise views and was equipped with absolutely everything one would need. Would definitely stay again!

Winfish is a winner!

Photos of Winfish just don't convey its warmth and charm. It really is a lovely home and it’s sparkling clean, with comfortable beds, quiet surroundings, and plenty of room. We enjoyed cooking in the awesomely-appointed kitchen and sharing meals together at the big table. The deck is perfect and the beach is great. Reading, playing games, and napping are also optimal at Winfish. Our extended family all agreed it was an A+ vacation.

Amazing place to make some Great Memories!

Our family enjoyed The Winfish for the week. The home is gorgeous, spacious and well taken care of. The beach is outstanding! Not only were we able to swim, kayak and paddle board in the Lake, we also enjoyed a campfire right on the beach. The sunsets were amazing! This is our second year staying here and we made some more amazing memories.

The Perfect Family Lakehouse Vacation

We just returned to California after a wonderful stay at the Winfish house. We took our grandkids to visit their great grand parents and we drove out to the Winfish from Flushing which was only a 90 minute drive. Our daughter came in from Northern California, my sister, and parents all had a wonderful stay. The house has everything you need. Just bring your suit in the summer, your favorite beverage, and meat to grill. It's very quite and the shoreline is endless. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks everyday, especially or 5 and 7 year old grandkids. The water was great for swimming and even my 84 year old dad enjoyed getting in. Bring some water shoes as its rocky at the shoreline. The house was awesome. We hung out at the huge island in the kitchen. The beds were cozy too. We watched DVDs at night, built campfires with provided wood, or sat out to watch the brilliant stars. We made wonderful memories here at the Winfish!

Beautiful view and access to Lake Huron

Our family of five adults and one baby enjoyed our week at the Winfish. Every day we soaked in the beautiful view of Lake Huron and made use of the fun water toys (kayaks, inner tube, and paddle boards). The Wishfish House is new, clean, and has all the amenities that you might need to enjoy a week on the beach. The guys played golf at the nearby course, and the local grocery store kept us stocked in food. Port Sanilac is a very small town, so we stayed at the house and cooked most of our meals. Who wants to leave the comfort of the beautiful beach, fully equipped kitchen, and relaxing surroundings? We cooked s'mores on the beach campfire, walked along the private, quiet beach shore, and basked in the sun, all while listening to the sound of waves. Everyone in our family gave our vacation a thumbs up!

Absolutely breathtaking getaway with everything that you could want.

It is a beautiful beach house with everything that you could want or need. You really just need to bring your cloths and food. The view in the morning is awesome and I miss the sound of the waves at night. The inside of the house was spotless and complete, meaning again that everything you could want is there. The house has all the outside fun you could want too.

Wonderful family stay on Lake Huron

With great views, the water only steps away, and 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks, everyone was happy from my nine year old son to my eighty year old mom. Mom's kayak trip in the double with me was a highlight of her year. We so enjoyed all of the water activities, in a very calm part of the lake, on a walkable stretch of private beach. The house is spotless, newly renovated, and good size, kitchen well stocked. We also enjoyed the grill, a fire on the beach (with provided wood), and having plenty of chairs for outside.

Completely Renovated with A+ view of Lake Huron

If you are looking for a great place to stay on Lake Huron, you can stop looking and book the Win Fish. This is not your typical "cottage", in fact it is completely renovated from top to bottom. Every detail is perfect. The view from the great room (which includes kitchen, dining area, and family room) is A+. Literally steps to the beach. We used the two kayaks and two paddle boards almost every single day (glad there were life vests there too) and watched awesome fireworks from the nearby residents on the Fourth of July. It is perfect for extended family. My elderly parents came with me and my kids. They slept on the first floor which has a nearby bathroom with walk-in shower, while myself and my kids spread out in one of the three upstairs bedrooms, one of which is a bunk room. Mattresses were very comfortable. We ate almost every meal in and found that the unit had everything we needed to prepare a great meal. When my kids asked why we weren't going out to dinner more, I responded, "because no restaurant has this amazing view!" The Willis Market had anything we needed for grocery items. We did not want to come home! Will definitely visit Win Fish again. Owners were very easy to work with and were available in the event of a problem. Thank you owners for sharing this truly amazing property with us!
