Esta casa renovada de West Beach, ubicada en 164 Marsh Hawk Lane, tiene un plan de piso abierto, 4 habitaciones, 3. 5 baños, un porche cubierto, y está a solo 4 minutos en bicicleta de la playa. ¡Es perfecto para unas vacaciones en familia!

La acogedora sala de estar principal ofrece techos altos, pisos de madera noble, un cómodo sofá grande, 2 sillas, TV de pantalla plana montada y acceso a la cubierta posterior y al porche cubierto. La hermosa cocina, totalmente equipada, cuenta con gabinetes blancos, mucho espacio en el mostrador, un refrigerador para vinos y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. Disfrute de las comidas con familiares y amigos en la mesa junto a la cocina con capacidad para 8 y asientos adicionales para 3. El dormitorio principal del primer piso tiene una cama king-size, TV montada, silla de lectura acogedora, acceso a la cubierta trasera y un baño privado renovado con lavabos para él y una ducha grande. Un medio baño y área de lavado completan el primer piso.

Sube las escaleras y encontrarás otras 3 habitaciones. La suite principal del segundo piso cuenta con una cama king, un televisor montado, una silla de lectura y tiene acceso a un baño privado con un lavamanos y una ducha a ras de suelo. Un dormitorio con una cama de matrimonio y un dormitorio con dos camas individuales, ambos tienen terrazas y televisores privados, y comparten un baño en el pasillo con dos lavamanos y una combinación de ducha / bañera.

Home away from home in Kiawah

Floor plan with first floor master worked well for us - and there’s another bedroom with en suite upstairs. House is well-supplied and checkout/departure is simple.

Very nice house

This was a very nice house that fit our group really well. The open dining and living room spaces were great for spending time as a group. The porch was comfortable. The door locks were not confusing. The bedrooms were split between the two floors of the house, perfectly accommodating the mobility needs of the group. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great house for our short stay!

We were very pleased with this house. It’s very nice, clean and has plenty of space for our two families. The location is great! Views of Courgar Point golf course off the back porch and just a short 5 min drive to FreshFields. Less time than that to the beach. We were a little concerned before booking with some previous reviews mentioning roaches. I can say that we had ZERO issues with any bugs/roaches/anything. The house was spotless when we showed up and was everything we needed it to be. My only criticism (it’s a small one) was we had a little trouble with the AC/Hear/Thermostat on the main floor. The Auto function wasn’t working so it was either running all the time or we had to turn it completely off. Luckily we were there in December so the temp was enough to not be an issue when it was turned off. It didn’t affect our trip so no real issue, just pointing it out. Overall, it was a great house and we’d definitely rent again on any trips back to Kiawah.

very nice house!

The house was exactly as listed. Very nicely decorated and stocked very well in the kitchen for cooking. Great layout, and back deck has gorgeous view of the golf course. Very nice screened in porch with deck. Loved grilling out too.

Family birthday

This property was as nice as was listed. We had additional family staying on the island from out west for a milestone birthday of one of our members. Everyone in our house was very happy with the accommodations, including not one complaint about the beds or sleeping well. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a clean, roomy, comfortable stay.

The back porch has 4 new comfy swivel chairs - not pictured in gallery. The location is perfect for access to Fresh Fields Village. The street is very quiet, the tower at the end is the street was a bonus for the view. All of the outside accent lights work - very nice. Thank you Akers Ellis for another comfortable vacation!

We were on a sister trip with spouses. The property was so amazing, clean, close to everything. The beach gear credit was great. The beach was close and clean a beautiful. Would stay here again. If you are a golfer, this is the place to stay!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have been going to Kiawah for over a decade. This house isn't up to par with other Kiawah houses. I would recommend a lot of sprucing up, especially cleaning the vents!! I am not sure what was in the room with the twin beds (maybe someone had pets there at one time?), but my son couldn't sleep due to itching and sneezing every other minute. He took my spot in the master with my husband and I slept in the twin bed. I started itching after the first few days in that room as well. I had to wash the mats in the master bathroom, they were filthy, and washed the bedding upstairs and vacuumed the twin bed and the floor. The sneezing subsided, but still itchy which tells me that the room wasn't very well cleaned. I would recommend painting the walls for a cleaner look and changing out the carpets and getting rid of the back porch furniture (so dirty, couldn't use it). The trash wasn't picked up, so it was overflowing and couldn't fit more trash. Some animals got to the trash and made a mess which I had to pick up. I would recommend getting someone to at least empty some of the trash or get an extra bin until the city can come get the trash. Please let the tenants know if there's construction around so they can make the decision if they want to be woken up by bangings at 7:30am (a house was being worked on around the corner so every.single.morning.there was banging at 7:30am).Also, two knobs for the stovetop were missing, guess the left side of the stove wasn't working so the knobs were removed? Not sure, but we had half a stove to cook on. I did like that the kitchen was well stocked and we had all the cookware we needed. With some TLC, the house could be a great place to stay. It's a half mile to the beach, but we didn't mind the walk. The location is great, close to the grocery store, not too far to the beach and backing to the golf course. The checking in and out were easy and loved the keyless entry door.

With bikes, it took less than 5 minutes to get to the beach. We were worried about crowds, but it wasn't crowded at all. And five star customer service. Aker Ellis answered all of my questions and concerns promptly (and with patience... I was a little anxious before arriving). Great experience. Downsides: they definitely didn't provide extra towels. So plan on that, if you go through towels quickly. And there is only one big pot. This was a little inconvenient when making spaghetti.

One thing is would say is that while overall seemed clean, you could tell they don’t replace the bath mats between guests and the towels are stained and worn. The steps are a little off with one being a little taller than some others- it should be looked at. I had my teens up there so they were done but I could see an older person taking a tumble down.

Fantastic rental for a quick getaway

It's a short walk (10 min) or bike ride (5-7 min) to beach access via Access #10 on Eugenia Ave which was great. In addition, the home was fantastic for relaxing and cooking. One thing that wasn't great was not having access to the garage. In addition, the listing mentioned that there was a wine cooler in the home, however, it was locked and had a note inside that it was only available for the owners. The $250 beach gear credit was fantastic. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a nice vacation rental. Great location. Lots of seating room. Beds were very comfortable. There were a few issues that made the stay not as pleasant as preferred. The house was very clean overall, except for the kitchen counters, which I cleaned myself upon arrival. The TV wouldn't come on. We had to climb a ladder to get to the outlet to unplug it and reset it so that it would come back on. The major problem at the rental was the number of roaches crawling around. We killed a minimum of 3 roaches a day in the bathroom and bedroom where we stayed. The other guests complained of the same. I would rent here again if we could be reassured the exterminator is coming on a regular basis.
