Condominio de 1 habitación y 1 baño en el precioso Skyleaf Mountain Condos. Esta es una unidad de la planta baja a la que se puede acceder desde el estacionamiento principal bajando los escalones o estacionando alrededor y entrando caminando. Esta es una unidad tan linda y acogedora que inmediatamente te sentirás como en casa. El sofá se despliega para hacer una cama de matrimonio, además de la cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio para que tengas acomodaciones para hasta 4 personas. Esta unidad tiene una cocina totalmente equipada con utensilios de cocina, platos, cubiertos y electrodomésticos. Hay una chimenea de gas.

I rented a property located in the mountains and they emailed me saying that there was an inconvenience with the property and gave me another one in the town with no view and no fireplace and nothing compared with the one I rented

Well priced condo

When we could not get the pilot light to work we got an immediate response from the property manager and later in the day it was fixed.The unit shows some wear particularly the carpet and could be Improved by adding a hair dryer, a new coffee pot, more ice trays and a handheld shower.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental property was as described and was neat and clean. I reserved through VRBO, but the staff at SML was pleasant and helpful if anything was needed. The building can be hard to locate as it switched from building numbers to letters on some of the signs. The picture indicating it was a unit downstairs helped.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good experience. The location is pretty good for skiing on sugar. Unfortunately, the room had obviously not been cleaned since last visitors. The linen on the bed had hair from previous guests. The “King bed” is two twin pushed together. Various trash was found throughout the place. Will say, the price is solid and you get what you pay for.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The furniture and was not fancy, but certainly adequate and everything seemed quite clean. Our unit was really only accessible by going down a steep set of stairs - the unit description had said ground level entry on the other side of the building was possible, but that would only be true if the sliding door on that side was left unlocked as we were only provided a front door key. The unit had the things you would expect, but some in short supply (e.g., only 2 regular forks for a unit that sleeps 4; the hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty)The management company's office was closed to the public, so check in/out done by picking up a packet or dropping off the key in a box. That worked okay, but it was not clear who could be contacted if there was a problem. The directions given from the management office to the unit were printed in one paragraph in small font - a step by step list in a larger font would have been much easier to follow.The living room tv did a software update, after which it no longer worked. As we were not watching that much tv anyway, we just relied on the bedroom tv which continued to function.The location was nice and the price seemed reasonable compared with what similar places in the area ask. No major complaints, but a few annoyances and nothing to make it stand out above other condos we have stayed at.

A Few Updates

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was in convenient location, clean, with updated carpet and appliances. Mattress needs to be replaced, as it was extremely saggy. Water heater was either malfunctioning or turned too low, so had to take cold shower. Didn't call rental company, since it was already late on final night before I discovered the issue. Called rental company the following week and got very little sympathy on issues I reported. Attitude was "you should have called us," instead of "how can we make it right." Overal quality is what you would expect for the price, but next time I'll spend an extra $50 a night for a nicer place.

Great place with a few flaws

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our pull our couch was broken and in the open position upon arrival. We had no comfortable place to sit. The fireplace did not work. There were no wash cloths only hand and body towels. There was only one large knife which made it difficult to peel fruit or cut anything really unless I wanted to use a giant bread knife to cut. The location was good and it was beneficial to have the bus transport to Sugar Mountain at the top of the neighborhood. Be advised if the road is frozen you will need chains on your tires. Its quite a climb up there and blind hill down when you get to the apartment.

Beautiful

Beautiful view nestled into the mountains but not too far from attractions. Very friendly staff and easy to find. Instructions and directions About the condo were clear and descriptive. Will be coming back for future trips!

Mountain Getaway

The property was perfect for two people. Property had a floor fan which was needed during the day; could use a blow dryer in the unit. Perfect getaway for a couple of days and property manager was wonderful to work with.

Great location, needs some TLC

Cable does not work at this unit, only ROKU. The patio furniture had some green slimy stuff so we could not use them. Handle was broken off faucet in tub. Flatware looked iridescent. Missing many glasses, flatware, sharp knives. I spilled something on kitchen floor, when I wiped it up, cloth came up black as did the bottom of my feet..

It's tucked back on Sugar Mountain which is refreshing when you're looking for a relaxing,peaceful vacation. This was our second stay in the Skyleaf community and certainly won't be our last! Sugar Mountain Lodging is also very flexible and easy to work with as my work schedule can change my plans in an hours time.

Needs some TLC - Quickly

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this place did what we wanted it to do for a 2 night hiking weekend, a resting place. However, there's no way I'd stay here for an extended time. The bathroom, kitchen utensils, and pillows are very subpar. There's no reason to go into specifics, but I hope the owner and management company visit to see what's in disrepair and fix it. These items should be in better condition even for a low priced rental such as this. Thankfully the neighbors, actual residents I believe, above were quiet and slept later than us because the footsteps and sewage piping were louder than apartments I've lived in previously in my youth. Overall, this wouldn't be a bad place to stay if they just put a few hundred bucks into it and improve things a very little bit.

Worked well for us

Clean and close to the ski resort. Worked well for us. Only reason for 4 stars is not stocked well w basic supplies like paper towels and garbage bags.

Great location, old and outdated condo

I wouldn’t stay here again, I had a few issues: 1) Cable not working so no TV 2) Gas fireplace pilot light not lit (thought they told us would be), and no instructions as to how to light 3) Linens and towels were old and stained. Pillows were disgustingly stained and cases not big enough for them!
