The cabin was easy to find—right off the main highway going north towards Garden City. It’s got two queen beds, but the second is lower to the ground and feels a bit less comfortable. It was just my wife, our dog and I, though, so we used the more comfortable mattress, no complaints there! The bathroom was stocked with toilet paper and hand soap and everything worked. Hot water ran in the shower. Toilet worked fine. They don’t have shampoo or body wash in the shower, so bring your own.The kitchenette was functional but small: there’s a sink, a microwave, and a mini fridge. We microwaved popcorn and had no problems. The fridge kept our stuff cold. I didn’t trust the water from the sink for drinking, so we brought bottled water with us.The WiFi here is quite good, which was a pleasant surprise. Once we signed in with the password the host gave us, we had zero issues. One thing we weren’t aware of is that this cabin is in the worst possible spot for mobile service (at least for Verizon users). It was so bad that I couldn’t access the VRBO message with the WiFi password with my mobile data from the cabin, so we had to drive into Garden City to get mobile service, access the message, screenshot the password, and then connect when we got back to the cabin. Kind of a hassle and I wish we had been warned.Overall, this cabin was clean, cozy, comfortable, and just a short drive into garden city and to the various beaches. We had a great time here. Allowing pets was a huge plus!!
