Home away from home

We love this property. the beds were very comfortable, loved the master shower! The kitchen was well stocked...the view is amazing. Would defiantly stay here again!

Paradise on earth

First time staying at Kapalua Golf villas. The grounds are immaculate, garden, pool and bbq facilities excellent condition, Bay golf course .The grounds staff do a fantastic job to keep everything in pristine condition. The unit itself was as pictured, very spacious, fully equipped with kitchen, laundry, bath & pool towels, beach equipment. Very impressed, our group had a fantastic time. Was myself and husband and two of our good friends who were primarily there to watch the Sentry pga golf tournament. The unit did have a few issues which the management staff did their best to resolve in a timely manner. Most impressive is the free shuttle within Kapalua precinct. All the drivers are so friendly and helpful with local tips of where to go for groceries, shopping etc. They even took the boys to the tournament and back everyday. Will definitely be back to stay. Thank you for hosting our group.

Great Maui location with golf course view, 2 king bedrooms

Nice condo, great for two adult couples, two king bedrooms with en suite baths. Beautiful view of the golf course, nice location just outside Lahaina. We appreciated the condo’s two king bedrooms which were nice for two adult couples. The property could use a fresh coat of paint and needs a few additional kitchen items (such as a large frying pan as pans provided were too small for cooking bacon, measuring spoons, spatulas, and mixing bowls). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Accurate pictures, great location

I was surprised by the accuracy of the photos. The location was great. It was 15 minutes walking to the beach and to the Ritz Carlton.

Extremely pleased with the service provided by KBM and also the condo we rented. The condo exceeded our expectations! We had a gorgeous 2 BR condo with 2 master baths, overlooking the Bay Golf course. When browsing condos to rent, look for a map of the Kapalua resort to find where your prospective condo is located. Our condo had a beautiful golf course view.

KBM Resorts is great

KBM is great and have a streamlined system for reservations, check in,... The offer of a vehicle was great. This trip we were very disappointed with our unit(golf villa) and the Kapalua complex seems a bit under duress.

This is a very nice unit with ground floor lanais. Modern, very well appointed. Great beds. One note for some potential renters -- there are 22 steps down from the parking level and then 3 steps up to get to the front door of the unit.

Nice Villa, Great Location

Villa sits along the fairway with a great view. It is a nicely stocked, large property. More than spacious enough for four adults. Furnishings and furniture are good quality; beds are very firm/hard. The properties are quiet most days, and if you visit one of the pools a large crowd is normally no more than six people.

Beautiful Kapalua Stay!

We went as two couples to enjoy a few days away in Kapalua. Having never stayed on this side of the island, we were all very impressed. The unit was fantastic and well stocked - it was incredibly handy to have bath amenities already in place. The location on the Kapalua golf course was beautiful and the lanai over the course was wonderful. An incredible place to see the perfectly clear stars at night. All in all, it was a beautifully finished unit, and an incredible location. Would definitely recommend!

Spirit of Aloha!

KBM Resorts employees are all very kind, responsive and helpful. They exemplify the spirit of Aloha. But the unit I rented was not 5 stars since there was some old furniture. Anytime I called KBM, they were very quick to respond so that makes up for it all.

Fair value for the money

Review is for 16P3 Super spacious and nicely updated unit. For the most part very clean. Liked having direct access to the lawns right outside our lanai. For me it was just the right amount of sunlight and when it was quite it was really nice and peaceful. 4 stars because there were quite a few details that were missing. A couple pieces of the furniture had damage. There were what looked like bird droppings behind the curtains of the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen didn’t have some of the basic necessities like salt, sugar, or Tupperware. Also - just be aware that the design of the unit is such that the upstairs neighboring units sliding glass door sits right above the master bedroom. So if you’re trying to sleep you might get woken up by the sound of the door opening and closing. Super rare as we were told but we had quite a bit of noise going on in the upstairs neighboring unit for our first three nights. Constant opening and closing of the sliding window throughout most of the night and just the worst kind of vacation neighbors imaginable. Very rare and in no way a reflection of KBM or the unit just our unlucky experience and partly due to the design of the unit. Despite the miss on some of the details we would most likely come back again.

We had a fantastic time at the Kapalua Villas.

We had a fantastic time at the Kapalua Villas. The resort is fabulous, the villa was very comfortable, quiet, and clean, the beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards were a nice touch since we use them every day. The Condo was very spacious and upgraded, the kitchen had everything we need to prepare meals. The location was great close to beaches, snorkel spots, grocery, restaurants etc. beautiful sunsets at the spacious lanai with the golf course view. Loved our stay at this particular condo. Thank you KBM!

Nice, quite location with golf course view.

Access to unit quick and easy. Arrival was nicely set up. One maintenance issue that was taken care of in minutes on a Sunday. Family lived the location and access to all activities. Really loved it.

One 'MAJOR' hiccup....

I debated lowering the rating by two stars but didn't think it would fair to the team at KBM. But here goes... First, in fairness, all the pros: the home is quiet, clean, and located right on the golf course with great monkey pod trees right outside the window. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you need to prepare a meal, a cocktail, glass of wine, or whatever. There was plenty of space in the living / dining areas to spread out. There were two king beds with two full baths which made it great as we were traveling with our teenage daughter who really enjoyed having her own space. In truth, the second suite is not as 'grandiose' as the main suite, but still nice. I spoke/worked with both Kevin and Janice - both of whom were very accommodating and quick to respond. It was a great spot to launch our Kapalua, Maui adventure. The cons - this is kind of a biggie as it speaks to the 'trust' factor that comes with renting any condo. One morning my wife and I left our teenage daughter asleep in the condo and ventured out to do the coastal trail hike. Midway through our hike my daughter began texting furiously asking if we were in the condo because she could hear voices. Apparently, a maintenance crew had gained access to the condo and did some work on an appliance. I don't begrudge the HOA for working to keep the place in great shape, but I do fault the HOA and KBM for not communicating those intentions to me. I left the condo that morning with my valuable unsecured, my daughter sleeping in the second suite, and felt violated by the entire incident. Needless to say, I didn't leave my daughter alone for the rest of the trip. I fault KBM only in that they did not adequately prepare me for the possibility of the unit being entered. Kevin explained to me that the notice should have been included in my arrival packet (it was not) and the HOA was supposed to provide notices to each unit (no such notice was provided). I suppose the only good thing is that after sharing my displeasure KBM they did agree to speak with the HOA to firm up the process for notifying tenants. Kevin also offered me a gift card for dinner which I declined, because I didn't want to feel as if I couldn't share this incident. It was a big deal. Smaller cons - the place is a little older, it could use a little paint in spots (something major happened in the living room ceiling which is yet to be painted over), and the AC (as others have pointed out) is not particularly strong.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable, dark unit tucked in at the bottom

A spacious, quiet, comfortable, dark unit tucked in at the bottom, 25 easy steps down from the covered parking. Has a well-protected, deep patio with sweeping views of the 4th tee. No ocean view. Separate master suites with comfortable beds, perfect for two couples. Includes beach equipment, but you’ll still need Snorkel Bob for mask & fins. Kapalua Bay, one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii, is less than 15-minute walk, and the historic Honolua store (order the Kalua pork loco moco) plus great restaurants including Sansei and Taverna are less than 10-minute walks. Beautifully maintained gas grills by the warm, gorgeous pool about 100 yards over and 50 feet climb. Modern kitchen remodeled in 2014 or so with wine fridge, lots of storage, plenty of cooking pots (but needs some larger Pyrex bowls for microwave), large and small rice cookers. Bath includes soothing rain shower. Stacked washer and dryer located in the main bathroom work well. The Cook pines around Kapalua Resort give it a welcoming feel. Great management by KBM Hawaii, who quickly delivered coffee filters and provided other help.

Good view and location. Spacious bedrooms and living area. Kitchen was nice but had issues with Roaches in the silverware drawer. Ceiling fans not working in either bedroom. Were told they are on order but rooms were uncomfortable at night. A/C was not effective.

Beautiful; spacious, super comfortable, and nice amenties all around!

We were very pleased with the location because we love to explore Lahaina and everything north of there. The car that accompanied our reservation was the deciding factor for my reservation. The spaciousness of the condo was amazing in comparison with a typical Maui condo. We loved it! We also loved watching golfers from the lanai, and were able to stretch out on the reclining lounge chairs at 2 a.m. and watch the super blood moon with no cloud interference. It was perfect for us!
