Recién actualizado hogar familiar. Ideal para familias que buscan una propiedad que sea familiar y que permita mascotas, limpia y cómoda. Luminosa cocina con capacidad para 4 con electrodomésticos nuevos. Asientos Comedor 6 fuera cómoda sala de estar. Las habitaciones son de 2 y 1 dormitorio grande abajo. Maestro arriba tiene cama de matrimonio con un montón de espacio de almacenamiento, segundo dormitorio tiene cama de matrimonio, más baja dormitorio 2 camas dobles. Baño principal es de 4 piezas, segundo baño de abajo con ducha grande. Lavadero con tamaño completo lavadora-secadora y un montón de espacio para la zona de plegado. Casa puede alojar 8 personas. Bajo área de patio con asientos y barbacoa con vistas a patio cercado grande, perfecta para la familia juegos al aire libre. Muy bien arbolado patio con árboles frutales y zona ajardinada. Enorme cubierta cubierta de comedor con un montón de asientos para las reuniones familiares. Mascotas amistoso con patio cercado. La propiedad está cerca de todos los servicios del centro. Amplio aparcamiento.

There was 4 adults in our group& our furry family. The fully fenced back garden was beautiful great space to spend time for everyone . As well has the large covered deck. The house is very well equipped including a mister stand which helped cool us off during the 39c temperatures . Josi is an excellent communicator.

This roomy home is equipped with absolutely everything you could want to make your stay memorable. The furnishings are clean and comfortable; everything works and is in good repair.The backyard is securely fenced, which we really appreciate because we have a very curious and active dog! A lovely surprise is the garden from which we were able to avail ourselves of tomatoes, lettuce, kale, herbs of all kinds, and more. The children were thrilled to be able to eat plums right off the tree!Our favourite space is the covered deck off the dining room. We spent hours there reading, chatting, eating, colouring, playing games, and just generally enjoying the glorious summer weather that is typical of Osoyoos. This was our third stay in this home, and it will definitely not be our last!

Our family enjoyed Casa Kocen for the eighth time! We had a wonderful holiday - swimming in the lake, bbq-ing with extended family and taking in many Osoyoos attractions. Will be back!

What a wonderful time the six of us had at Josi’s place in Osoyoos from 11- 14 Sep 25. Made some fabulous memories and the weather was awesome! The home was immaculately maintained and within walking distance to town. We all enjoyed the upstairs covered patio above the garage. Fruit trees and organic gardens were available in the backyard and we took full advantage but left some for the next guests. Josi provided a very insightful binder with a treasure trove of information and was Josi-on-the-spot with communications sent before, during and after clearing the house. We drove in from Vancouver and easily found the residence. Over 70 vineyards in the area and we managed to visit 15 not to mention a couple of breweries and distilleries. Highly recommend visiting the Osoyoos Visitors Center, the Farmers Market on Saturday and the local hardware store (believe it or not) for souvenirs.We even found a spotted lake and Elvis!! On our next trip to Osoyoos we will definitely check with Josi first!

Beautiful property

Came for a family reunion at our sister’s - 5 adults, 1 child, 1 dog.There was lots of space for everyone especially since sleep schedules were all different. Anything you can think of that you might need was there, very thoughtful fruit and cheese were left for us in the fridge. We all enjoyed the covered deck and the huge grass yard. Some smoke scent when we arrived but as soon as we got the air conditioning going it was fine. Very clear instructions were left for us about the property and area. We loved the cats who came to visit every day. Owner super responsive, pleasant and we had absolutely no issues. We would stay here again for sure!

Fantastic Family Place

This property is all it is advertised and more. The best equipped property we have ever stayed in. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we would highly recommend it. Even the family dog enjoyed the property. The host is very responsive. The location is walkable for most essentials except the beach but you could easily enjoy your stay without going to the lake.

wonderful place, great host!

This was our second stay at the house and we absolutely love it. The house is very comfortable, spacious, and extremely well stocked. This feels like home, not a rental, which is pretty rare nowadays! The property is beautiful and the location is great. all the little things - and more!

Love this character home. Every detail taken care of; all the little details you'd every want in a vacation property are there - plus things you didn't even know you wanted! - all conveniently situated and well thought out. Nothing like having your coffee on the deck overlooking the beautiful green yard in the morning. Perfect family getaway home located centrally. 2nd time we've stayed there and we'll likely book again. Very responsive property manager is also much appreciated.

Family Vacay 2023

Casa Kocen is a dream to stay in. We have stayed here twice, and always feel like it is home. Every amenity that you think you need, they have. All you need is your clothes and food.. that's it!! The air conditioning is a much needed and loved feature, the outside deck is always well used, and the back yard is absolutely breathtaking (hot in the afternoon, but morning and evening are wonderful). Josi is wonderful to deal with, always accommodating! We will be back :)

Everything You Need….And More

Loved our stay here. We had amazing communication with Josi before, during and at the end of our stay. She’s so great to deal with. Suuuuper organized with instructions that are so easy to follow. The home is spacious and accommodated our family of 5 with no issues. The yard is immaculate. You truly need nothing more than food and clothes as everything is available. Very close to shopping and downtown. The welcome platter was such a lovely surprise after a long travel day. Highly recommend this VRBO experience.

A little piece of heaven

The location of this beautiful property couldn't have been better. Food and gas one minute away. Downtown with shopping, casual dining and pubs to the left and sightseeig to the right. There are several spaces in the home and on the property that accommodate up to 8 people (or more) whether eating, playing games or just relaxing. Always someplace where solitude could be found. Kittens were a great touch of whimsy and fun. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to a wonderful host for letting us enjoy ourselves in such a beautiful setting. We sure hope to make it back again.

Convenient and Comfy

Property is true to description, does not disappoint. Host is most responsive an made everything as easy as possible. Did a wine tour with another couple during a very hot streak weather-wise. So nice to return to a homey, cool and inviting house. Favorites were the back yard patio in the mornings and breezy upper deck in the evenings. Property is wonderfully landscapes and fresh garden options are for the taking. Missed out on the fruits of the cherry tree but there were so many fruit stands close by, it didn't matter. Besides my husband and I, the other couple was just as comfortable and appreciative. Would recommend.

Nice house with great fenced backyard for our dog.

We spent about 2 month this winter, as snowbirds. Jan and Feb. Spouse was WFH, using the desk in basement and the 500Mbps Telus fiber, all worked well. Our dog Kaos loved the large (about 70 x 90') fenced backyard. House is a nice walk to beach. There's a BuyLow, Source, Lordco, Blue Barn pet store within 2 blocks, plus many more options. The Home Hardware store is a few blocks and has nearly everthing, but groceries. Josi, the host, is excellent. We were first time VRBOs and she was very chill and very helpful with newb questions. We picked this location as it's likely the warmest place in Canada to WFH. Picked this property because of the fenced yard for the dog. All was great.

It’s like coming home!

This was our second stay at this property, and it was just as comfortable and convenient this year as last. We were greeted with a lovely welcome by way of a bottle of wine, a selection of cheese, crackers, and grapes. What a wonderful way to begin our stay! Josie provides for every need - there is more than enough bedding, towels, dish wares, and basic cooking and laundry supplies. And there is room to spare! We were four adults, two children, and two dogs, and we never felt crowded. In fact I often had to go looking for one or another of us as people settles in to cozy corners with a book or electronic device and grabbed some quiet time! Although the wildfires did make for smoky skies, we were still able to enjoy the lake, the beach, Rattlesnake Canyon, Nk’Mip, shopping on Main Street, coffees at Jojo’s, and ice creams at Scoopsies. We look forward to our next visit toOsoyoos, and (we hope) another stay with Josie!

Disappointing

Upon checking in we were asked To feed a stray cat with kittens that has been adopted after we paid our deposit. The first night the house smelled Heavily of cigarette smoke and the suggested remedy was smoke masking Spray which was available and which had likely worn off. The remedy was a $400 hepa filter which we purchased. On Christmas Eve the lower floor which I used as my office was flooded due as the water supply to the outside hose has been let on. We contacted the hosts and gladly assisted in mitigating the situation until they could address it. On New Years Day they came with an insurance adjuster and then informed us of their intent to renovate immediately, that it would be noisy and dirty and that we “better find another place to live” this all amid recovering from COVID. We received no apology, no offer of any fiscal recognition of the inconvenience of having to immediately find a four month rental in a competitive market which suited our needs or any relocation expenses. We could not find a property but an excellent property management company came to our assistance. However, we needed to relocate to a community 2 hours away that is more expensive and will not be spending the winter with friends as planned.

Loveliest property in Osoyoos

If your looking for a vacation home in Osoyoos, I would highly recommend this property. Spacious, clean, nice location & a beautiful green space for the back yard ( cannot stress how beautiful this yard is) Tons of fruits and veggies in the the yard that the host graciously shares with her guests. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need & this is so helpful when traveling with small children. I wouldn't second guess booking this property and hope we have the pleasure to re visit Josi's family vacation home. Thanks Josi for a beautiful vacation :)

Our stay was beyond amazing. The yard was spectacular with lots of greenery. Fresh veggies and fruit in the garden. Was a relaxing stay away from home but felt the comfort of home. Josi was very responsive with any questions. Highly recommended A+++++++++

This home was owned by our mother Katarina. With the passing of mom in 2011 the home is now owned by her daughters. Great family memories are attached to this home and the family continues to gather here, reminiscing and creating more cherished memories. This was my moms wish, it brought pure joy to her having family and good friends gather here, filling the house with laughter, love and delicious food!
Some updating has been done and more upgrades and enhancements will continue over the next year. There is 1 outdoor cat that resides on our property, she is well cared for and all her needs are provided for by myself.

We are happy to share our family home and feel it is an ideal home for families and pets to enjoy time together and the beauty of the Okanagan. We invite you to our home to Relax and create some Great Memories.
