Le damos la bienvenida a permanecer en nuestra casa privada de lujo (Ono Hale) en las exuberantes colinas de la histórica Kailua Kona. Situado a pocos minutos de la ciudad y hermosas playas de arena de Kona.
Fresco y tranquilo. Ono Hale se encuentra en un lote de propiedad privada en una calle tranquila en una perfecta 750 'de elevación para los días cálidos y noches frescas ideales durante todo el año! En casi terminado 2800 pies cuadrados, la casa se encuentra en un poco más de 1/3 acres que está maravillosamente ajardinado con el florecimiento de la flora tropical. Esta casa de 3 recámaras (2 King, 1 Queen), 2. 5 baños disfruta de hermosas vistas panorámicas del océano desde un punto muerto con una piscina de 6 'de profundidad. Ono Hale está decorado con plantas de cerezo brasileño de madera, baldosas de piedra cuarcita, granito, baldosas de travertino y gabinetes de madera de teca. Los acabados de alta calidad, de planta abierta y lengua y techos abovedados de madera ranura crean el ambiente para una escapada de vacaciones increíble. Decent home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home shows it has 3 tv’s although there is only 2. One in the living room and one in the master room. The home does have a chest in the front full of pool items and scuba items. The property was clean except for a molded container on the top fridge. I would recommend this property but be advised there are a lot of stairs in the home and the drive way is a very steep hill which can be difficult to maneuver. Lots of bugs but it’s given in Hawaii, make sure to apply bug spray. The lanai is the BEST part of this home.

A lot of stairs to climb in order to reach the main level of the living area which was not mentioned in the living details.Had a horrible ant problem.Main living room area furniture was very uncomfortable and not what was shown in the original pictures.

Kona vacation home

We’re a family of five and we found lots to enjoy at the house and Kona area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a lot of seating options inside and out. The Lanai is huge and has very beautiful views of the coastline and downtown Kona. The pool is very private and a good size for everyone to enjoy. The location is a 10 minute drive to the main tourist centre of Kona or to Keahou bay, where many tours operate from, including the Manta night snorkel.We would stay here again.

SUNSETS!!!!

Sunsets, sunsets, sunsets!!!! Thar Ono Hale house was perfect for our family stay. We had 3 generations of family members on this trip and the house accommodated everyone's needs. The kiddos loved the pool and the large lani was perfect to watch over them. The location of the house is within a very short drive to shopping, beaches and groceries. The weather was perfect with the slight breeze moving throughout the house. I was fortunate enough to live on the big island years ago and have always loved the Kona side. The views this house provides makes me wanna move back. Mahalo Ono Hale house. The Ballard family.

We loved the lanai and spent our mornings and evenings., listening to birds. It was great to have the beach towels and chairs to use. For our snorkeling days. We enjoyed coming back and taking a dip in the pool. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Wonderful place for our family. (Not a negative for us, but there are lots of stairs and this could be a problem for someone). We would stay again!

Great Home

Loved the view, location and beauty of the house. Perfect areas to enjoy outside and the pool. Being met at the property was nice as well. Not ideal for older family members as the stairs are a lot- as well as the driveway. However perfect for our family needs.

Beautiful Housee above south Kona-Kaqilua

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed the house and the setting of this vacation rental. The sunsets were spectacular, the house spacious, wonderful lanais, lots of good beach and pool toys, and the private pool was great for our grandkids. Be aware that the driveway can be daunting, and longer wheelbase vehicles like minivans are not suited to go to the upper level. The kitchen was well-stocked, although all the knives were pretty dull, it would be good to have at least one sharp knife for cooking. Our big complaint is that the house is advertised as sleeping 8, including two on a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa is horrible, really unusable as a bed, and needs to be replaced. And there were eight of us, including two little ones. Fortunately Knutson's managers were great, really considerate and responsive to the situation, and got us foam pads and bedding for the little ones. If you have 8 adults in your party, make sure the sleeper sofa has been replaced!

Ono Hale - Fantastic Trip

We stayed at Ono Hale for 3 weeks on our recent trip to the Big Island and must say that it was a fantastic trip. We were greeted by a member of the Property Management group who gave us quick rundown(no more than 10 min) it was great. Lots of items to use at the beach and must say the we have not stayed at a rental that had so many different appliances to use. You certainly do not want for anything to prepare a dinner. The sunset views from the Lanai are fantastic. We would actually schedule our days to sit and watch them. We quite enjoyed the pool area and spent time in the pool as well. It is refreshing on a hot day to cool off. The house itself is very spacious and very relaxing. We had read comments on the stairs, however no one in our group had an issue and two actually are awaiting knee surgery. The Property Management group was also incredible. On our second last day the coffee machine quit working and within an hour there was a new one dropped off even though we had said not to worry about bringing a new one. Great service!! We would definitely stay at Ono Hale again.

Beautiful, but obvious rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is gorgeous. I would have loved to have seen it in its prime. The house is so nice that the minor negatives really show. On stepping through the door, the first thing that I noticed were scratches on the floor. The hardwood floor was magnificent, but the scratches really stood out. Theses scratches have been caused by people moving furniture. My guess is that non-family types have been renting this house, riding it hard and putting it away wet. Similarly, in the kitchen, the white range, refrigerator and sink all have visible scratches. These could easily be touched up with bathtub porcelain repair paint. There were also small paint scratches on walls that could be easily touched up. The toilet seat in the master bedroom was visibly warn and discoloured. Many stains are carpets.It the totality of the circumstatnces, these defects are miniscule. The issue it that the property is so nice that the minor issues do stand out.The house has a great layout. Lots of space both inside and on the lanai. The pool area is great as well. The only negative being that it was unheated. Air temperatures were in the low 80's as was the pool. You had to be hot to go in (January). We could not find any lighting in the pool area. It would have been nice to use at night. I did find at a later time, underwater lights in the pool but no one could tell me how to turn them on. There were some pool and beach toys & chairs. Two masks, both broken.The house is not air conditioned. Generally there is a nice breeze. As long as the house is opened up, it is well ventilated. There was one night that was very still that we wished that there was AC.For such a large property, the propane grill was quite small. It worked, but had the typical hot/cold spots. I wouldn't have put good steaks on it as they would have been difficult to cook.The property was very clean.I would stay here again. There are many small things that don

Big Island fun.

The property is beautiful with amazing sunsets and views for days! The pool is great and pool deck gets a nice amount of sun. The house could use some work. The kitchen is decently equipped but the knives are dull, broken and pretty cheap. The patio screen doors fall off the track a lot and need to be replaced as they are patched together. The ceiling fans all need to be replace as they are loud and don’t move much air anymore. The patio furniture consists of two chairs two side tables and two dining tables. It would be nice to have a place for 4-6 people to sit comfortably and enjoy the great sunset/ views! The carpet in the house has to be replaced as it has lots of stains and is kinda gross. The home had lots of great beach toys and chairs to use. Knutson was easy to work with and I would rent a property form them again, all in all it was a great vacation. I know this review looks bad but it’s not, just need to put a few $$ into the property to make it more in its price point. Enjoy the big island, it was great!

Having bathrooms for each couple was especially nice. Very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again. Short drive to town for shopping or fun.

Lifetime Vacation

This property was very roomy, but had lots of stairs. The property was not AC which was not a problem except for one of the rooms location in the house made it very warm. The balconies were spacious and gave you a great view. Kitchen was large and easy to manuever in. The pool was clean. Our biggest problem with this property were the outside wooden steps. There was a sign that said "Caution, slilppery when wet" however there was nothing placed on the steps to help prevent some of the slipperyness. Two of my party took spills on these stairs and we both were very cautious. The stairs do not have good rail for holding onto so we stopped using these stairs for fear of someone else falling. If it weren't for the stairs being so dangerous this would have been an awesome place to be.

Kona retreat

Great pool, deck and views. Our family had a great time and very comfortable in the house. The landscaping kept the pool private. We were able to relax all week and really close to many things to do in koba.

Reviewer Comments: What you are looking at is exactly what you get, the home has a great outdoor appeal with foliage, pathways,gardens and yes the pool area is awesome.The pillars in front make it mansion styling and this all is in the drive up the driveway.The interior is very large and open,kitchen has all you need,loads of seating,towels,bedding,pillows,nicely finished and lived in,which gives it a very comfortable feel,but,but, when you step out on the covered deck,yahoo folks,second to none, the experience will be all yours, fill the fridge with your favorite beverages head outside sit down and guaranteed you'll be having this memory stick forever in your collection,amazing.The staff at Knutson are absolutley first rate and have supplied you with an amazing vacation rental,well done,well done

Spot-on where it matters most

Beautiful patio and place to sit on main level, as well as the master. Wish I had more time to spend there. No bugs in the late evening was a pleasant surprise. Could have slept there. Very comfortable for three couples. Plenty of space and good/comfortable furnishings. My only suggestions for the owners is to update some cookware, especially the knives, and get the driveway lights working. But, neither would keep me away...I would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

The property was located in a very convenient and central location. It was close to the airport which was great! The pool was our favourite part - it was clean and had lots of pool accessories and chairs around. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. There is no a/c which we didn't realize until arrival, however I think this is a common theme in the area. There were fans provided in the residence. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our short vacation in the Big Island as we were able to drive to all of our destinations in relatively short periods of time.

Great stay, overall recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I recommend this property. Management company was very communicative and thorough, we had no issues during our stay. Pool was a huge plus, there were a lot of pool floats and toys already there to use. However, I'd note that, as many others noted in their reviews, the driveway is VERY steep and can be problematic for certain types of cars or walking up/down and there are a LOT of stairs inside, which wasn't an issue for us, but I can imagine might be a concern for others. Interior was clean and overall I enjoyed the open space concept. However, some of the decor and other accents throughout the house are very outdated and old/worn out. The view from the lanai, however, can't be beat!
