Nuestras casas y apartamentos de alquiler están convenientemente ubicados a la salida de la carretera principal entre Woodstock y Saugerties, pero rodeados por un hermoso arroyo. ¡Estamos a menos de 10 minutos de HITS y a solo 36 minutos de un excelente esquí en Hunter Mountain! Great stay in a really cute apartment. Rich and Sheila were wonderful hosts. The pool and sauna were added bonuses, and the gardens surrounding the house were so lovely (with tons of butterflies and hummingbirds).

Our stay at Rich’s VRBO rental was outstanding. The apartment was immaculate and everything we needed was there. The pool and the grounds were easy to navigate; the host made us feel very comfortable-he offered advice on where to eat and gave specific directions.We will definitely return the next time we want to get away. Perfection

We have stayed in over 70 rentals in the last 20 yrs, maybe one or two were perfect. This one tops it, from the personal checkin to the bottles of wine and milk in the fridge, to the amazing amenities, nightlights, scissors, easy remotes for ac and tv, great matttress, such amazing attention to detail. Location is great,lots of restaurants and activities close by. we will def go back.

Warm and well cared-for property

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were lots of thoughtful touches, from the sauna to the homemade granola to the great stream-side veranda and hammock. We will happily return again!

Wonderful, cozy and comfortable stay

My wife and I would highly recommend staying at Richard's place. He and his wife are terrific hosts and their apartment is full of nice touches. It is clear they care about their guests. I very much enjoyed meeting and chatting with them over our weekend stay. The location between Saugerties and Woodstock is perfect and they are just down the road from the magnificent Opus 40. Plenty of hiking and walking is nearby as well.

Wonderful stay

Everything was beautiful. The owners truly care about the property and their guests. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was idyllic. Amenities were really lovely (coffee, tea, milk, granola, wine...could you ask for more?). Highly recommend!

Really Perfect in many ways

We really enjoyed our ‘HomeAway from home’. The apartment was perfect with everything you would want in a weekend getaway. So much nicer than a hotel. Rich and Sheila are lovely hosts and have thought of everything to make this a very comfortable lodging. Beautiful setting and grounds made this a very relaxing weekend.

Beautiful property stay for our young family

We had a magical stay with Rich and Shelia - their property is stunning and beautifully maintined. Our rooms were perfect with the right amount of everything and nothing amiss. Will absolutely be coming back.

Charming location, surroundings and scenery

Great place. Very spacious for 2. clean , well furnished and welcoming décor. If it had a real fireplace would be outstanding. Great setting! The Creek was a delight to see. It must be wonderful to sleep with the windows open in Spring/Summer and hear the creek run and wake you up. Very conveniently located to stores and close to Woodstock as well. The only thing is that TV does not have live access to Network channels. They have the ROKU system which allows you to stream with delays and watch shows on demand but not live. If I had stayed for more than 3 nights that would have been a bummer. Most likely will stay again for a long weekend. Sheila and Rick were also very nice and welcoming. Great place overall!!

Relaxing getaway

The property was beautiful and serene featuring a babbling brook, a pool and sauna. The lodging itself was spacious and had every amenity you could ask for along with a special touch of flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine from the owners. A very relaxing, private, accomodating stay that we would definitely recommend.

House in the country

The apartment was recently renovated, cozy and convenient. Richard and Sheila were charming and helpful. The pool was heated, making it comfortable even though the weather was unseasonably chilly. The location is close to many attractions and lots of restaurants. The stream that runs through the property is beautiful and close enough to hear it gurgling with the windows open.The screened patio was great for the night we grilled our dinner and ate by the river. We'll be back.

Beautiful, cozy creekside apartment

We had a wonderful time at this lovely apartment. The space is spacious, clean, inviting, and thoughtfully decorated. The landscaping out front is beautiful, and the creek running right outside cannot be beat. Rich and Sheila were very accommodating and hospitable - they made everything on the property available for us to use and even provided kitchen essentials and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The location was a short drive from all the places we were hoping to visit upstate. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property and great owners

Pictures do not do justice for this apartment. The apartment is lovely, clean, comfortable and included everything we needed for the stay. We enjoyed the in ground pool and LOVED the screen house by the creek. We had coffee by the creek every morning and fell asleep listening to the water - heaven! Rich and Sheila were so welcoming and nice. Once I had booked, Rich sent me a lot of information about the apartment and recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. They left us a lovely bottle of wine and some yummy granola. We had a couple of questions and they were answered promptly; we enjoyed visiting with Rich and Sheila. We followed some of their restaurant recommendations and enjoyed them also.

We are a retired elementary principal (Rich) and a child psychologist (Sheila) who have traveled throughout the world, staying in lodgings of all sorts. We purchased this lovely property and have fully renovated it to the standards that we ourselves would have wished for in our travels. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We purchased the property because of the stream, which wraps around it on three sides. Our renovations brought the sounds and the sights of the stream into the apartments and into our own dwelling (adjacent). The location is incredibly convenient - only 5 minutes to Saugerties, 7 minutes to Woodstock, 25 minutes to the Amtrak train station in Rhinecliff and minutes from some of the most beautiful hiking trails you can imagine.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Whether you want to relax by the stream, swim in the heated pool, or hike the many gorgeous trails and waterfalls close by, this place has it all. We are minutes to HITS horse shows and Woodstock and Saugeties town centers. Close to restaurants of all types and price ranges, theater, movies, music, art shows, shops, Zen and Tibetan monasteries and much more. We love that we are so close to cultural and consumer oriented activities but can choose to sit on the deck or on the grass, watch and listen to the natural sights and sounds; eat, swim and garden outside, not having to leave the sounds of the stream until we are fast asleep.
