Preciosa cabaña Ubicado en la corriente Plattekill

Nuestra cabaña está maravillosamente situado a pocos pasos de un hermoso arroyo corriendo! Se encuentra convenientemente entre Woodstock y Saugerties, y sólo unas pocas millas de la salida de autopista NYS 20. La cabina tiene un dormitorio con una cama de tamaño completo, fregadero y pequeño cuarto de baño con ducha y WC. No es acogedor, zona de comedor retro y una zona de cocina donde podrá preparar comidas sencillas.
A pocos pies de distancia se encuentra una mesa de casa de malla, parrilla y picnic, todas con vistas a la corriente. Caminar alrededor de la casa principal con una gran piscina, donde podrá relajarse en un flotador, nadar y mantener sus bebidas se enfrían en la nevera.
Esta es una acogedora cabaña - la cama está llena no de matrimonio, y la cocina no tiene una estufa (hay una placa de inducción de un quemador). Es perfecto para una sola persona o una pareja que quieren privacidad, el sonido de la corriente, y la proximidad a todo el valle de Hudson tiene que ofrecer!

Loved our stay

We had such a relaxing stay! The cottage is adorable and Rich & Sheila do a fantastic job of supplying you with all you need, including recommendations to restaurants and activities in the area.You can hear the stream from your room, and we loved the chairs that sat on this little patch that gives you an amazing view of the stream. It’s easy to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature around you. We’ll be back for sure.

Peaceful Cabin for a nice getaway

We would definitely return to this location. It is quiet and peaceful, by a stream, and provides access to a lovely pool and sauna. The owners are very kind and accommodating. The location is close by many natural places to explore, as well as downtown Saugerties.

Comfortable, clean, and quiet

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house! The place was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect — peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we felt right at home. The small touches — like fresh towels, a well-equipped kitchen, and local tips — made all the difference. The property had an electric vehicle charging station, which was a big advantage since we didn’t have to search for one elsewhere. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Private oasis

Rich and Sheila were great hosts. We stayed in the little cottage (I call it the play house). It was great. Sauna and pool very clean and running perfectly. Quiet spot. So nice.

Exactly as advertised

We enjoyed the serene setting. Richard was very accommodating and included a bottle of wine, homemade granola and a quart of milk! The cottage is very tiny but is exactly as pictured on the VRBO sight-no surprises. We would stay again!

As others have said, Richard and Sheila made us feel right at home and provided cool recommendations for the area. The cabin is adjacent to the main property but still feels totally like your own zone, very cozy and comfortable. We had a great time grilling, lounging by the stream, and after a massive hike the pool was a killer treat!! Look forward to returning, awesome place!!

A peaceful oasis

I needed a space to myself to do some writing and thinking — this was a perfect fit. Rich and Sheila provided a clean, cozy, peaceful space and made themselves easily available for anything I needed, without hovering or disrupting my flow. This was a truly special escape in the beautiful Catskills and I am already thinking about a future stay.

Relaxing summer weekend by the creek

Rich and Sheila's cabin is well located and easy to get to, but feels like a part of nature. We arrived after sunset as fireflies glittered around the grounds, and woke up to a view of the bubbling creek outside the bedroom windows. We enjoyed a refreshing afternoon dip in their pool, which was 8ft at the deep end. There are lots to do in the area and Rich and Sheila are a good source for recommendations on local activities. They are a friendly couple and thoughtful and considerate toward their guests. Many thanks to Rich and Sheila for sharing your lovely space with us!

Genuinely good people

Cabin was as small as advertised definitely no more than two people,( significant other or very close friends) had everything I needed owners reached out to offer a bottle of wine, or sparkling cider and also left a carton of milk for their famous granola. ( the offered cow or soy milk) they also text me once or twice to check in they were attentive but by no means intrusive. The property is set on the bend of a rippling creek, highlight of the te stay was sitting by the creek drinking tea and reading. Very accessible to the town of Woodstock. Nothing but good things to say.

Cozy Cabin

This atmospheric little cabin has everything you need, in a beautiful setting by a stream, with easy access to Saugerties and to Opus 40 just down the road. Richard was a welcoming and helpful host. Highly recommended!

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I had such a lovely weekend. The cozy cabin was exactly what was described in the listing. Our hosts, Rich and Sheila, were very accommodating and gave excellent suggestions of local restaurants. We would definitely book this property again.

I told Sheila that typically the photos are better than reality on booking sites, but this was the opposite! The cabin was cozy, clean, and the hosts were very welcoming. They even got me a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.

We had a lovely stay in a modern cabin that was convenient to everything we did the weekend we visited. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The kitchenette had a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, and induction hot plate. The cordial hosts provided muesli and milk for breakfast, and also a complimentary bottle of wine or sparkling cider. We did not have time to use the pool, but it looked lovely!

Wonderful if you enjoy relaxing stream sounds and a pool!

Richard and Sheila are friendly, communicative, great hosts. The cabin is comfy and cozy and comes with a nice guide of their personal recommendations for restaurants/hikes/activities in the area. This time around though we decided to mostly sit by the stream, bbq, and lounge by the pool. Wonderful. Will be back for a third visit no question!

Peaceful, restorative, beautiful

I can't express enough how much I appreciated the quiet and beauty of this place. I was in town for a very busy weekend with hardly a quiet moment--until I got home every night and could just listen to the stream and the wind. Rich and Sheila made the entire experience just perfect. Thank you!

Peaceful getaway in great accommodations

My boyfriend and I stayed in this cabin for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Rich and Sheila were very friendly and helpful while we were there, as well as in their communications before we arrived. Loved the complimentary bottle of wine and helpful recommendations about activities, dining, etc. in the area. The cabin itself is very nice, comfortable and well-stocked especially for a kitchenette. We loved the privacy it offered while still being steps from the creek, grill, screened-in seating area, and pool. Note that the cabin has only a screen/glass door but you can close a curtain in the bedroom doorway for more privacy. Great location close to town and plenty of hiking and swimming, but still secluded. Highly recommend and hope to come back soon!

Lovely place and super nice owners

We came for 2 nights. We had a great time, the place is very nice, the cabin very cozy. Richard and Sheila are very nice and welcoming. They prepared a detailed binder with recommendations of places to visit in the area and of nearby restaurants. The WiFi works great. The bed is (very) soft and the place is clean and we comfortable. The garden is big and the river close by. Feels like heaven ;) We will definitely try to come back again. Thank you so much Rich & Sheila, we hope to see you again! Adrien and Marion
