¿POR QUÉ QUEDARSE EN ESTE BARRIO? ¡Seguridad, no crimen! Arabi está en St. Parroquia de Bernard (Condado). Arabi tiene una aplicación de la ley superior que no tolera el crimen. Cuando te quedas en Arabi, puedes disfrutar de todas las cosas divertidas que Nueva Orleans tiene para ofrecer, pero vuelves a dormir en Arabi sin preocuparte de que alguien entre en tu casa o en tu auto. Esta es una casa individual de cuatro dormitorios bellamente restaurada. Está a 3 millas (10 minutos) del Barrio Francés en el barrio más seguro de la ciudad. La casa tiene techos de 12 pies. Hay 3 baños completos. Esta casa tiene todo el carácter de una antigua casa de Nueva Orleans. Tengo Wifi, una cocina completa y un amplio patio que tiene una pérgola de nueva construcción con un conjunto de patio. Desde la casa, es agradable ver cruceros, barcos fluviales y otras embarcaciones que viajan por el río Mississippi. Además, hay estacionamiento en la calle. ¡Esta es la zona más segura de la ciudad! A diferencia de Nueva Orleans, tenemos mucha policía en Arabi y no toleran que ninguna balsa riff viniera aquí para cometer crímenes. Arabi está en St. Bernard Parish (condado). Mi esposa y yo amamos Nueva Orleans. Tenemos nuestros restaurantes y lugares favoritos para visitar en Nueva Orleans, pero nos encanta volver a nuestra casa en St. Bernard Parish para dormir de forma segura por la noche con tranquilidad.

Home Away From Home

My family made great memories here! Located in a quiet neighborhood near the river, this four-bedroom home provides plenty of space for a large group. The pool and yard are spectacular and provide a quiet respite from the city. After ziplining, taking a riverboat cruise, and one night on Bourbon Street, it was nice to retreat to Arabi to nap and relax by the pool. The communication and customer service from Mr. Landry and his family is top-notch!

Arabi in September

The property was nice and clean. 2 of the 4 rooms had their own private bathroom with a shower. All the comfort and amenities of home. Large living and dining area for all six of us to move around comfortably. The pool, and outside Tiki Hut, and greenery is top tier. The French Quarter is nice scenic drive from the property. Great place to stay!

Disappointed

Put the address on the house. Nothing is marked. Provide dishwasher and clothes washing products. Provide more than2 rolls of tp per bathroom. How to access the house was confusing….should have been told- go thru the gate…The pool was GREAT, the neighborhood was SAFE.

This quaint property has quirks but lives up to its expectations and was a nice place for our families stay while visiting New Orleans. The neighborhood is quiet, we were probably the loudest there. The home itself is cozy and the pool was a life saver on those hot hot hot days!

Amazing location for a quiet stay near New Orleans

This rental was perfect. The owner was super friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach. We were just a very short walk from the edge of the Mississippi river where we had the most amazing views! This was definitely a perfect place for our little getaway. It was quiet and safe and the house had so much charm. We would definitely rent this property again!

Great house

This property was so charming. The house is an older house that is very well kept. It was very clean and pool was great. Unfortunately we can too late in the year so the water was cold but it was still very nice. The thermostat was a little off but it got cold so that's all that matters to us. Would be nice if they offered shampoos and soaps for shower, but that's the only thing I would add. Great location as there was a festival going on behind the house that was a very quick walk.. Would definitely stay here again next time I come to Nola.

The house worked well for our family. The neighborhood was safe. 25 minutes to Bourbon Street. However, there were numerous businesses much closer. As with most people, we ran out of time....so we may have to come back

Vacation

The house was nice and in a good neighborhood. They didn’t supply you with to many extras. We had to buy paper towels and ran out of toilet paper and asked us to start a load of laundry before we left but there was no detergent. Other than that it was a nice stay for us.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and clean. We took walks around the neighborhood and felt completely safe. The river is just steps away. Arabi has a market and antique shops just around the corner that we enjoyed. It was roughly a 15 min Uber ride to the French Quarter. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. There is a pool construction/demolition job in process in the yard which is a bit of an eyesore in the yard, but didn’t detract from the charm of the inside of the home. There is also space to park inside the gate and off the road which was a plus!

Fun Getaway for New Years

We celebrated our friend's 30th birthday and New Years in New Orleans and stayed at this property for the occasion. We loved the vibe/antique aspects of the house. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and it was fun to see families out on New Year's Eve having fun with small fireworks. There was a grocery store that was close enough for us to walk (about 1/2 mile) and we were also close to the water. We definitely heard the boats & stuff all the time which was comforting to us since we are from the Oregon Coast. Uber rides added up fast to get to things but I don't know if I would want to drive a rental car on those roads so it was probably the best option for us. Overall, we were very comfortable and loved the experiences we had.

Do Not Book With This Host!!!!!

A week before our stay, The bride-to-be suffered a brain bleed and was airlifted to a hospital, where she underwent surgery to repair an aneurysm and was found to have an AVM, resulting in a forever changed life. The bridesmaids intended to use the trip money for medical costs, but the host, who owns MULTIPLE properties in Nola, not only refused to refund the money but also refused to offer any condolences. This lack of empathy and morality is UNACCEPTABLE, and I strongly advise against supporting such an individual by booking with them.

Pre cruise with friends

We are a group of adults in our 50s and 60s. We stayed 4 days before our cruise. I highly recommend this house. Very clean and a very nice community. The property owner was very responsive. We enjoyed the house and the pool. We took walks on the levee and around the neighborhood. The only thing we would ask is the property owner provide more paper products. There was not enough toilet paper or paper towels. We bought some and ended up leaving the extra behind. Also, the property owner asks that you start a load of towels but they don't leave laundry soap. We used what we brought with us. It would be nice if these items were provided. Would definitely stay again.

Bachelorette Weekend

Larry was so easy to communicate with! We exchanged emails a few times and the day of our stay I text him and he called me within just a few minutes woth the info I needed. There were 7 ladies staying at this location and feeling safe while we were away was a priority and this location provided! The house is so charming with high ceilings and what appears to be original wood floors. Not to mention exposed brick walls in some areas of the home. So cute! The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. The neighbor who lives directly across the street saw us heading out one morning and called us over to let us know that there was a festival just a few blocks over. So precious! We had a couple of vehicles and Larry let us open the gates to park. It was nice to have our vehicles off the street and behind a gate. We used Uber or Lyft all weekend and on average it only cost us $13 or $14 to get anywhere. The rooms were all pretty spacious and comfy with nice bathrooms. The kitchen seemed nice and modern, although we didn't cook or eat at the house at all 😅. I read a couple of reviews that mentioned the locks being a concern. The lock on the side door was a bit strange and took a bit of getting used to. It's a key code lock that locks from inside automatically and theres no deadbolt. The first night we did have one girl stay outside a minute to make sure it locked, just because we couldn't trust it from the inside and being that there was no deadbolt it did leave us feeling uneasy. BUT we quickly realized how it worked and never had an issue. There is a nice size yard, a little covered sitting area, and a bbq grill. This would make such a nice location for any event! Especially a family getaway with kiddos. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who will be in the New Orleans area! Don't skip it!

The host was very welcoming and even came to warm the pool when request. The property was very clean upon arrival. My only recommendation is to have more tissue for guest with more than 2 day stays and to keep laundry detergent so we can wash towels as you requested.

Halloween weekend

We stayed with a group of 8 people. The house was beautiful and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The owner was quick to respond with any questions we had and very accommodating. It was overall a wonderful stay and we would rent again if ever in the area.

Labor Day Weekend

This property worked perfect for our family who was in town for the college football game. Quiet neighborhood and very easy access to the French Quarter and the Superdome. Highly recommended.

This place is close to everything. It's a nice home in a family neighborhood. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. No more than 8 guest. My family has been living in the neighborhood since I was a child. It's large roomy home with plenty of parking. It is only 10 minutes away from the French Quarter. My wife and I love New Orleans and all that it has to offer, but we love coming back to sleep in this safe neighborhood. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 8 GUEST!
