Our host was amazing! Sarah was helpful, attentive and so easy to communicate with. The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! It was perfect for our family of 12. Lots of areas to all be together or do our own things. The hot tub was a real treat with a beautiful view! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!!

Amazing place and an exceptional host

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our host was hands down the best we’ve ever had—so welcoming, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. The place itself was everything we wanted and more. It was spotless, beautifully set up, and had all the little details that made it feel like a true home away from home. Every expectation we had was exceeded, and then some. The view was absolutely stunning. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing place and an exceptional host.

The Best Place

This was one of the best rental I’ve ever stayed at! I really appreciate The Host's detailed instructions and list of accommodations. You seriously don’t need to leave the house unless you have planned excursions. They have everything you need: top tier bedding, cleanliness, amenities, space (for everyone!) and views! I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in Breck — whether you’re coming from out of state or need a nice weekend getaway.

Amazing Time

Had such an amazing time at this house! This host made sure our stay was so comfortable and easy. She gave super clear check in and out instructions, which made the experience so great! She is so responsive and kind to talk to. The house was extremely clean. Our large group was so comfortable in the large spaces.

Loved staying here!!

Host is very attentive and nice. Family Reunion of 10 ppl, never ran out of things to do. Close to hiking & to town (10 min) yet felt quiet and remote. Loved the wildlife & cute fox that must live nearby. Gorgeous views of mountains, ski hill, City lights, stars... Super clean. Kitchen was loaded with every gadget imaginable & super clean appliances with plenty of seating for meals. Lots of games, puzzles, pool table, large hot tub, etc. Living rooms were very spacious with lots of seating so family game nights were fun and comfy. Beds were clean& comfy. Temperature inside was perfect + heated floors in master bath. Never ran out of hot water and never had issues waiting for a bathroom or a shower. Surprising for 10 adults sharing 1 house. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is particular/picky!

We had the most wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – from cozy bedding to a fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always available to offer tips about the area and check in on us during our stay. It was clear that they put a lot of effort into making sure their guests feel at home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Wonderful

Wonderful experience with this beautiful property! Peaceful & quiet neighborhood and only a few minutes away from many shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed the sunsets from the house balcony’s view. Highly recommend this property for those who visit Breckenridge!

Amazing location/views/house!

We had such an amazing stay! The house is immaculate and had everything we needed (and more) Views spectacular. Quick walk to the free bus to get access to in town/ski. Host was super helpful providing great resources before the stay and able to answer any questions quickly before and during stay. Would highly recommend!

Great place for a large/ extended family

Property was gorgeous, super clean and stocked with amenities. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and the large selection of board games. The hot tub was amazing after a long day on the slopes and the view of Breck resort and town were unbeatable . The kitchen was well stocked and the large table fit the whole family. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home. We had everything we needed plus more! The views were stunning!! Not only did we see the mountains and town of Breckenridge but also had some friendly visitors! We were graced with the presence of a mother and baby moose, a red fox and plenty of lovely birds. When we weren’t catching the bus right down the street to go eat delicious foods, head out for skiing or exploring, we were in the living room watching the amazing scenery from the comfort of the home. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, truly the whole house was well equipped for our stay of 12 people. Thank you, can’t wait to come back!

Very clean and well kept

The house was great. We came with a group of friends from New York for a long ski weekend. The house is very clean and well kept. Great cookware and everything you need to have a great time relaxing and cooking after a long day on the mountain. Very attentive host if anything is needed. We would definitely come back.

Incredible Thanksgiving

We had the most incredible Thanksgiving vacation in Breckenridge. So many great memories made in this beautiful home. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The layout, views and location cannot be beat. The host is a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable host. We look forward to a return visit in the future! I highly recommend

The house is super comfortable and very clean, the kitchen is super complete with everything we needed, we had moments of great joy with the family... I highly recommend it. I want to point out that on the day of check-in the host was flexible, as it was very cold and we had a baby with us.

The Place To Stay in Breckenridge

This was my wife and I’s third stay at this home and it never disappoints! From the stunning views to the amazing kitchen to the comfiest beds, this home has it all! Great vacation!

This place is honestly more than pictures show. The view is breathtaking, house is specious and the location nice and quite yet beautiful from every single room. The host was amazing, the best I’ve had as she was always there yet knew when to simply give me/us the space to enjoy her amazing home. Will be back !

This home has the most amazing views! The home is very nice and clean with a great floor plan/decor and a well stocked kitchen. Sarah was available for any questions and checked in with us to let us know. The bus to town is very convenient. I highly recommend this home.

Perfect Family Vacation Rental

This home is perfect for a large group. Our family of 10 (three couples and four kids) had plenty of private space as well as great gathering spaces when we all wanted to be together. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing big family meals and sitting around the table to enjoy them. Besides the large eat-in kitchen, there are two family rooms and a game room for watching TV and playing pool. Seating elsewhere throughout the house, including the back deck overlooking Breckenridge and the slopes across the valley, is perfect for a quiet morning coffee or reading a good book. The views from the back of the house are spectacular. While we didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped, we enjoyed daily visits from "Junior," the neighborhood fox who spends a good deal of time under the porch of the neighbors to the east. Because we stayed in this home in late May (the short window between the end of ski season and the start of the summer season), crowds in Breckenridge were nonexistent and there was always plenty of parking available in town. Since parking wasn't an issue, we didn't end up using the bus service, but the stop for the free bus was conveniently located at the top of the street if we had wanted to use it. This is the second home we have rented from Modern Retreats (the other was in Scottsdale last fall), and we have been incredibly pleased both times. We stay in vacation rentals quite frequently and find Sarah to be one of the best hosts in the business. Her homes are always well-appointed, comfortable, and extremely clean. She does a great job of preparing you for your stay in advance and responds quickly to questions and/or concerns when they arise. We made some great family memories in this home. We suspect you will too!

Felt like we stayed with friends

The house was just like it was posted. It was lovely and well stocked. From toilet paper, garbage bags, spices, paper towels, coffee pods, body lotion and much more. The view from the patio was amazing. It was close to town and the shuttle. We frequently use VRBO but this was by far our favorite house. The managers kept us well informed and were very accessible. The house was high quality. We felt like we stayed at a friend’s house. Coming from 74 ft above sea level to 10k above was a killer but we adjusted eventually. The town is charming. We could hike and shop all day to come home to a crockpot filled with food. Most days we cooked at the house and ate a lunch/early dinner in town. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the house.
