Ridge House - Casa frente al mar con muelle privado en Pontoosuc Lake

Para 2019, estamos emocionados de haber terminado un nuevo patio empedrado de 1700 pies cuadrados con sillones y un pozo de fuego de la línea de gas, que incluye un área cubierta debajo de la cubierta para disfrutar de los días lluviosos ocasionales, además de escalones de piedra que bajan al agua Para facilitar el acceso al lago. ¡Sofá y sillones de exterior completamente nuevos! (Nuevas fotos por venir pronto!)

¡La casa ha sido completamente renovada en los últimos años!
Este 4 dormitorios, 1 1/2 baño casa de campo se encuentra en el hermoso Lago Pontoosuc. Esta propiedad frente al lago cuenta con un muelle de aguas profundas para su barco. Hay un resbalón público del barco en el plazo de 2 minutos de la casa. La ubicación es ideal para practicar deportes acuáticos, kayak, pesca, o simplemente disfrutar de la serenidad del lago. Alquiler de barcos están justo al otro lado del lago.

Amplia sala de estar, medio baño, cocina, área de comedor con vista al lago y un dormitorio con cama tamaño queen

El segundo piso tiene 3 habitaciones:
1. cama queen size
2. Dos literas gemelas (cuatro personas)

House tiene una nueva cocina, una nueva lavadora / secadora apilable y está completamente equipada con ropa de cama, toallas, platos, cristalería, utensilios de cocina para uso de los huéspedes. Parrilla de gas al aire libre es nueva en 2019.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home is beautifully renovated, spacious, and perfect for a family. The lakefront location was stunning, with gorgeous sunrises every morning. The owner was excellent—very accommodating with a late check-in and checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this home and we will definitely return!

Great time with our parents 60 wedding anniversary with family. Kids had a great time on the paddle boards and pool table. Had a little problem with the oven but definitely not a deal breaker.The fire pit was amazing was great to sit around. Had lots of laughs.

The whole experience was great. Raphael was very responsive and checked in to make sure there were no issues. Accommodations were wonderful. Plenty of towels and kitchen was fully stocked. You don't need to bring a thing. Definitely would go back again.

Wonderful Stay, Terrific Hosts

Very responsive and they helped immediately resolve a problem with a low battery beeping smoke detector that was out of reach. Highly recommend the property for large gatherings. We had 6 adults and 7 children and there was plenty of room.

Above and Beyond

We recently stayed at this rental home, and it far exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed the space was. The house had everything we needed and more, with every little detail taken care of—from cozy furnishings to a fully stocked kitchen. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They truly went above and beyond, making this one of the best rental experiences we've ever had.

Great home base for ski weekend

We booked this house for our extended family's trip to Jiminy Peak for a long weekend. It wound up being a GREAT home base. The house is really recently renovated, extremely comfortable, very well stocked, and its location on the lake creates some incredible views! The best thing for us was that the sleeping area is a bit separated from the rest of the house, so it's easy for adults to be up later while kids are in bed, or kids to be up early and some folks to still be sleeping in. We were happy on all fronts, and are all excited to come back and rent this house again!

Friends (with families) Get-away

The communication from Raphael was incredible from the start. He quickly answered questions as we planned our trip and when it got closer, sent specific details about what we should bring/expect from the property (including what kind of coffee maker!). The house was beautiful, included fun activities from pool to games to small details like chargers. The outdoor area was perfect for grilling, roasting marshmallows, and yard games. We kayaked, SUP'ed, swam and enjoyed the lake. We will definitely look to come back!

Berkshire Vacation

Wow! We have had great luck with rentals in the past, but Casa Do Lago, and it’s owners, are at the top of our favorites list! The home is fabulous - spacious, well stocked, comfortable, and clean. The location is gorgeous - on the water, mountain view’s and easy to get to restaurants and museums. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming or responsive. I hated bothering them, but with each question they responded quickly and with welcome remarks. We would love to come back! I know I’ll have to book early because any of my siblings who saw “our house” fell in love with it too!

Beautifully Appointed

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Ridge House. It is a newly renovated home and the views of Pontoosuc Lake are serene and peaceful. The Ridge House is in a quiet neighborhood close enough to nearby attractions and local stores. The Ridge House was neat, clean and had all that we needed for our stay on the property (kitchen equipment as well as laundry detergent for the inevitable load of laundry that needs to get done as well as toiletries in case something was forgotten). Thanks John and Mike for making our trip to the Berkshires a wonderful one! We will definitely be back!

Amazing house, location and experience!

We wanted a girls trip and this beautiful home was perfect! Exceeded our expectations really. The owner was very responsive and accommodating - best owner I’ve dealt with on all my VRBO trips. The house was gorgeous! Newly renovated, well stocked, very spacious and nicely decorated. Located right on the lake front. Small towns were close by to explore. My only suggestion would be for directions on how to work their fancy new shower with the multiple water jets. Lol. You can’t go wrong with this rental. We definitely plan to go back!

Beautiful lakefront home

Spectacular in every way! The pictures don’t show all so it was a very pleasant surprise to learn just how much space this house offered the 10 of us gather together (both dining room and deck tables sat 10) or to spread apart. We spent our days at the lake, kayaking, fishing and swimming. (There were plenty of kayaks and SUPs.) At night we gathered in the finished basement for a shuffleboard tournament, at the large fire pit on the patio, or played games upstairs. While there's an abundance of outdoor seating areas on the deck and patio, we are glad to have brought our own camp chairs to use lakeside as there is no seating there. (Not a complaint, just a tip for anyone planning to stay.) The only area we think that could be improved upon is to add an umbrella for some shade on the deck so it can be enjoyed during the day. This house was very clean and well-appointed and Raphael was very responsive to any questions we had, both pre-visit and during. We will go back!

Wonderful vacation!

My family and I loved staying at the Ridge house. We were there 14 days over christmas. House was perfect for our family of 10. We had lots of room for everyone plus the friends and family who came to visit! The kids loved the bunkbeds! The kitchen was well stocked gor the many meals we prepared! The neighbors were very friendly also! Would definately stay here again! Also the owners were very accomadating when we needed an extra day to stay!

The perfect weekend to end the summer

My family and I rented this house for the weekend and had a fun and relaxing time to close out the summer. The house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with all the cooking equipment we needed. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet....no regrets at all in deciding to stay here. The owners were very responsive, answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of great recommendations for food in the area. The amenities in the house were perfect for everyone in the family, during the day we relaxed on the deck and took the kayaks out into the lake. At night some chose to stay out near the fire pit on the deck, while others were inside watching TV and getting a kick out of using the Alexa device. Definitely would come back again next summer and considering it for a mid-winter get-a-way!

Ideal Lakefront Getaway

We recently returned from our stay at Ridge House, and I'm happy to say it was the perfect lakefront retreat to celebrate my parents' anniversary. They'd wanted a place the family could relax and have fun, create spectacular meals and enjoy each other's company, and this home and it's owners created an ideal setting for that. With a picturesque view one could gaze at until sunset, and plenty of fun lake activities to keep adventure seekers entertained, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and made lasting memories. The house was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen has the tools you need and no lingering leftover items from previous guests, so while you have to stock the kitchen with each spice and condiment you'll need for meals, we felt it more hygenic than using a strangers leftovers. (We'd brought a selection from home anyway, so it didn't cost us much to get what we needed.) It's on a quiet street, and the beds are quite comfortable, so everyone slept well, which is so important when there are small children to chase after the next day. Additionally, the house is very centrally located, so excursions to popular attractions like Tanglewood entailed very little time in the car. The owners are exceptionally attentive and kind. When we had a misunderstanding early on with a neighbor, the owners were quick to offer solutions and the issue was immediately remedied. (Also, the neighbors are lovely, and took care of the problem before we ever mentioned it.) We would return tomorrow if we could get the time away, and I imagine it won't be long before we make our way back to Ridge House, if it's available. I would highly recommend it for families seeking a central Berkshire location, and a fun or relaxing lakefront vacation.
