We loved our stay at the Villa at Shacks Beach! It was easy to find, the check-in was super clear, and it instantly felt like home. The villa is spacious, well-equipped, and the pool was the perfect spot to relax after exploring.The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach, a 2-minute walk to Eclipse for dinner, and just a short stroll to Ola Lola’s. The hosts were so responsive and kind, which made everything a breeze.Such a perfect stay—highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect getaway

Our stay at Villa Shacks was perfect! Mark and Scott communicated everything with ease. They were extremely accommodating as well. The house is perfect, beautiful views and very close to some of the most beautiful beaches. This is our second time staying here and it never disappoints. We will definitely be back.

On Repeat

What a magical spot, and I cannot say enough about our hosts. The unit was perfect for us and being able to walk right onto the beach was bar none the best. Secluded in a good way, but also centrally located and close to great restaurants. Ola Lola is down the street and the perfect place for a drink. We went horseback riding and that is a must considering the stables are a short walk away from the property. We are already looking for dates to come back. My kids absolutely loved it. Survival beach hike is worth the hype! Thank you Mark and Scott

Great location, lots to do

The house sits right on the beach with great views of the ocean. The beach goes on for miles, which makes for a great hike down to Survival Beach. When it wasn't windy, the reef right in front of the property was great for snorkeling. When it was windy, kite boarders and wind surfers were having a blast. There are two restaurants within walking distance - both good vibes and good food. The house was clean and well kept, and the photos of the house and property are accurate. We'd stay here again.

Just Beautiful

Me and my friends has a great stay at the Shacks. The beds are big and super comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances you would need to prepare a great meal. The outdoor space is picture perfect... i could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you again Marc & Scott! We will be back soon.

Shacks

Property was nicely maintained, pool was nice, beach access was right there. Host and property manager were easy to access and courteous. Villa was air conditioned and comfortable inside, my unit had a private balcony which was nice. Floats and beach chairs were readily available. Washer and dryer were not working. Quiet neighborhood for the most part. Had a run in with illegal immigrants in the first day coming onto the beach and using walkway next to property. I was always in an alert state looking over my shoulder making sure my family was secure and in no danger.

A Piece of Paradise

Our stay exceeded expectations. Fantastic/beautiful location at the end of the road (so no road traffic) and the second to last house on the beach before preserved land. Pristine and quiet. The water was a stone's throw from the deck. And the pool was super for a quick dip to cool off. For the reviews that commented on the swimming being less than optimal because of the rocks/reef right in front of the property, there is sandy entry points just to the left and right. The water was crystalline. There are 4 units in the property, and we were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves. We had one issue with the main split air unit, which was immediately addressed by Scott. Both he and Mark were very gracious and available. If you want to stay away from the bustle, this is the place

Relaxing spot with good food nearby

We stayed for 4 nights at the Villas at Shacks Beach. Our hosts were so prompt to respond to our all questions and inquiries prior to our arrival. They even texted us when the property was ready for us to check in. This unit is super cute and while a 2 bedroom, it was just my husband and I. It was super private, even though there are 3 other units and we felt so safe and secure. We had read other reviews about the beach--which is insanely rocky and you just can't hop in. There is an inlet just to the left of the property (if facing the ocean) where you can wade in no rocks. It just was too much of a rip current for us while we were there. But we saw many people doing it. There are good places to eat just a 5--7 min car ride away. 20 min to Crash boat. 7 min to Jobos beach. They had beach chairs and towels for us too! Super cute place to stay and loved it!

PARADISE!!

WOW!! I don’t know WHERE to start!! The place is AMAZING!! The views BREATH TAKING!! The place is VERY CLEAN, MODERN, I PERSONALLY was under the impression that the WHOLE villa was accessible.. I didn’t know that there were three other villas (apartment style) there. I say that to say I was just unprepared for the other “visitors”, but that IN NO WAY DISRUPTED OUR STAY! It definitely was hard to leave there and come back to reality.. my wife is making it a point to come back to the property annually!! BIG THUMBS UP!!

Birthday Getaway

What a lovely place right on the beach. We had a wonderful time celebrating both our birthdays. The weather was great and the apartment was wonderful. It had everything that we needed to spend the weekend. Just to be able to get up and see the beach from the front door was a plus. The owner was easily accessible and very accommodating.

Amazing Beach front paradise

This place is so nice and relaxing, just in front of a Shacks beach which is great place to see nice corals colorful fish and turtles. The Villa is very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We traveled with our two teenage kids and they had a blast. Scott and Mark checked on us and helped us with all directions to nearby restaurants and food shopping and made us feel at home. We can’t wait to be back as soon as we can

Fantastic location

Manger Scott was amazing and very helpful and onsite when needed. I have stayed at a lot of Vrbo and this was by far one of the best for location, housekeeping (very very clean) and overall relaxation. The only negative we had as a couple was the beds were not queen or king. (We has two units and both had small full size beds). But overall great place, great location, great management and we will def be back.
