We were really staying in a converted barn. All lit up for special events like a wedding. Kitchen well stocked. Grill provided Along with charcoal. Outdoor games And lots of seating outdoors.. Only complaint, the beds were very Uncomfortable, so we did not rest well. The facility is beautiful, the owners friendly an d anxious to please. Very clean. Will go ther again if the beds are improved.

Comfortable, Relaxing, Immaculate

I was somewhat apprehensive of the barn theme but I was there for nearby activities (Sun & Fun Airshow) so I would have tolerated less than perfection. However, once I arrived and met the hosts I was happily relieved that this really was an immaculate oasis with an open-air theme which was very comfortable. My only regret was not bringing friends/family to enjoy with me. Thanks Wendell & Shirley!

Well looked after

The unusual set up worked for our trip. The grounds and accommodations are gorgeous and impeccably clean. Thank you Shirley and Wendell for being such excellent hosts!

Comfortable and unique layout

Our hosts, Shirley & Wendell, were more than kind! They made us feel right at home. They even presented us with some delicious Plant City strawberries! The layout was quite unique but met our needs for our stay. It is a very open floor plan and this was nice since we did have some family join us for dinner one evening. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having the bath en suite. The kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi was accessible when out from under the cover of the metal roof. All in all a pleasant stay. Thanks!

Wonderful stay and hosts were outstanding.

This property is quite different but a great experience. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and and accessible. Shirley and Wendall are outstanding hosts and were there for anything we needed.

Beautiful space!

Hosts = amazingly accommodating and sweet! Location = out in the country but gorgeous! Price = excellent! My only feedback is the "living room" and "dining room" are completely open to the outdoors. I think this would have been fine for us if there wasn't a cold front at that time...having coffee in the "living room" was freezing! I think this space is better for a wedding/reception venue....not necessarily for a family vacation spot.

Absolutely wonderful!

Our stay was amazing! Shirley was very welcoming and sweet. We found the property was better than we could've imagined! The owners remodeled the horse barn into a lovely get away. The kitchen had everything we needed (and much more). We enjoyed the ping pong table and bean bags in the evenings. It was super clean. I can't say enough good about this property and the owners! I'd definitely reccomend it!

Southern hospitallity at it's best!

The owners, Shirley and Wendell could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! The place was immaculate! We wish we could have stayed longer! The property is so beautiful, serene and restful! We will definitely be back! We also noticed they have a beautiful venue for weddings and other festive gatherings.

Enjoyed our stay...

Very unique property; very quiet and plenty of room to sit out under the pavilion. Our stay was brief but when we return to visit our niece we will definitely check to see if this is available.

This location was so beautiful. It was a change from the ordinary. We didn’t expect to have an open living area and just being outdoors as we rocked in the chair and chatted. Only downfall were the mosquitos.

Peaceful Rustic property

Our stay here was wonderful. Shirley and her husband went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Their property had everything you would need on vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked. If there was anything we needed they got it for us. Very lovely couple. They made us feel at home there. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area. We were sad when we had to leave. The property was a beautiful set up as a wedding venue. If anyone is looking for a rustic venue in this area please consider using them.. Shirley would be great to work with. Thanks again Shirley for everything.
