Always a great stay

Great location, nice weather, close to everything and an outstanding host. Visiting for 5 weeks , nice home away from home. Had everything we needed. Sure to enjoy !

As expected for a Summer in Hermosa Beach

We have returned to this located for several summer stays over the years and we enjoy the cool summer and nearby beach volleyball of Hermosa Beach.

Looking for a place to stay in Hermosa ? You can’t go wrong with this place. Everything is conveniently located on a quiet street. We have stayed here several times and are always happy with our choice. We’ve looked around but always come back to this rental because of what it has to offer.

Hermosa Rental

This rental was very accurately described on the website. It was a nice size for 6 people. The location was ideal for walking to everything in Hermosa Beach! The owner was easily available. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

The property has a great back yard that my 3-year old son rode his bike around every morning. It's not in the photos - it's fantastic! It's quiet yet a great location next to the best dining in Hermosa. Beds are comfy, furniture's comfy. Having laundry was handy. The kitchen was huge and had everything even the ice maker worked. I highly recommend staying here. XOXO 😍👊🏼

Perfect location in Hermosa Beach

Tony's place is the perfect location in Hermosa Beach. 5 minute walk to the beach or 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Easy access to great restaurants. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment had everything we needed. Tony is extremely responsive and willing to do whatever it takes for you to have a great stay.

Hermosa Beach is a great town

Hermosa Beach is fabulous — this property is totally under maintained— holes in the screens; food and personal items left in fridge and bathrooms; not properly cleaned; wifi was bad; property is old and dirty but location is terrific — blinds are broken etc — if the location is all you care about its great

Great location & host but the property needs lots of maintenance

The best part of this property is its location with a few minutes walk to the Hermosa Beach pier and the action around it... The host, Tony, is welcoming & polite... unfortunately, this property (unit # 2) needs lots of maintenance as the appliances & property are very old... when we arrived, the host informed us that the much advertised Jacuzzi was non functional and it took him nearly 20 days to get it fixed... the self ignite on the stove burners does not work & one has to use an external butane lighter... the ice maker in the refrigerator produces lot of cold air but no ice... the bathroom exhausts and the cooling system make so much noise that its difficult to keep them on... the sofas, the carpet and the furniture are dated & worn out... also, the house needs a good cleaner as we spent best part of our first day cleaning it up... I think with the hefty fees that Vrbo charges guests ($499 in our case), one expects them to exercise certain amount of due diligence when listing properties on their site... So, great location, great host but a property which has shortcomings...

Working Remotely from Hermosa Beach

Four of us stayed at Tony’s place for six weeks and had absolutely no complaints. Enough room for us to spread out, and the backyard is great with seating and the hot tub. Great place to stay in Hermosa beach!

Wonderful location in need of some TLC

The property was ideally located and spacious, but it really needs some attention. There were too many broken items. For example, the igniters on the stove didn’t work so we had to use a butane lighter to turn on the burners. The drain in one of the bathrooms didn’t close; the ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t work; one of the Venetian blinds was broken, etc. The owner was very nice and did make an effort to address some of our complaints.

We keep returning

Cannot beat the location of this place. Walk every night down to the beach. Close to every kind of restaurant, bar or shopping. The owner seems like your lost cousin, always ready to answer whatever questions you may have. This is our fourth or fifth stay. I should have made the owner an offer to buy that first time I guess.

Home away from home

We got a lot of exercise because it was so convenient to walk to the town, the beach with the Strand and even the grocery store. There is so much to do in this beautiful area including two farmer's markets a week within walking distance, great restaurants and bars, breweries and local stores. We also picked the perfect time in May with all the volleyball competitions and the street festival. We picked up bikes and rode to Santa Monica a couple times and afterwards took advantage of the Jacuzzi which we were not even expecting use at all. There is plenty of room especially with the open kitchen and living room. The place is a little dated but has everything you need and it felt like a real shore house. Tony was available for any little issue and welcomed us on arrival.

Completed our second stay in Tony's place in less than a year. Minutes to Hermosa Beach/Pier/Strand, restaurants, bars and a quick ride to golf courses. Great accommodations and a great owner who cares about your stay like you care.

Safe and quiet neighborhood. Fell in love with this tiny community when I was a teenager. Use to come here and surf with friends in the early eighties. This unit is newly remodeled, clean, large space, nice family or girls getaway. Close enough to walk to restaurants and bars without being TOO close and hear the loud music or people until two in the morning. Great for the outdoor enthusiast... surf, stand up paddle board, swimming, Kayak, boating, fishing, volleyball, tennis, basketball, steps away Friday's farmer's market, private back unit with brand new outdoor Jacuzzi tub.

Location is close to anything your heart desires and owners live less than five minutes away, If you need us, otherwise very private and comfortable. Will not be bothered by neighbors or us. Large backyard for beach living.
