Great stay

The property was great. Pics were spot on for the property and everything worked great. AC worked fantastic and we caught loads of fish right in fromt of the house. I would totally stay here again

Family vacation 2024

From the outside, the property looks a little “run down” compared to neighboring properties. But from the looks of the neighboring properties, they would be well out of our price range. The interior photos were accurate and everything worked fine. Steps from the beach, which was practically our private beach, plus being a short drive from delicious restaurants, made this trip one of my best family vacations ever. Already looking forward to the next trip down to the area.

Believe the reviews. This place is a DIMP !

There were springs poking out of the mattress. The place was filthy. My wife spent the first day cleaning and washing the couch covers because they smell so bad. This place is unsafe. It has mold growing on the walls. There was trash laying in the yard. The sliding glass doors do not open. I had to buy a new coffee maker because the old one didn’t work. After several calls to management. They agreed to replace the mattress. But only the day before we were to leave. We ended up leaving early because it was so bad. I read the reviews and thought. How could it really be that bad??? Well it was worse. Someone tried breaking in in the middle of the day while my wife was alone. The area is nice. The beach is beautiful. The place is a dump. If VROB was smart, they would remove this listing., we trust VRBO to offer quality rentals. Clearly this place is not to their standards. It is through a third-party company called prestige properties. This place Should be removed from renting out. Someone is going to get hurt.

Beach just steps away and Very quite location!

The house is very run down and needs alot of TLC as well as furniture needs to be replaced very uncomfortable. The patio doors in main area did not open so was constantly tracking sand in through bedrooms. 2 of the 3 plastic patio chairs outside were broken and not usable. Alot of little things could be done to make this property alot better. However if you can bypass all of that the BEACH ACCESS makes up for all of the above. Just steps away from a beautiful white sand beach. NOT crowed and plenty of room to spread out and have a good time. LOVED having a fire on the beach !!! Again alot of things needs to be done to this property but beach access was the best part!

Beautiful ocean view, but that's about it

We reviewed the listing in great detail, read reviews, etc. and decided to give it a shot even with it not being updated. We arrived and had to clean up trash from the previous tenants (a bear knocked over the trashcan all over the road and since there is no lock on the trash can we were stick cleaning up their beer and cigarette butts along with food from all over the road). We got inside (After having to call property management because the code we were provided didn't work, so they were able to get us a new code within about 5-10 minutes), the house at first glance seemed to at least be clean, which is all we really cared about aside from location to the beach, but upon future inspection it was not clean at all. There was sand on the carpet in the living room, the couch covers had sand and something white smeared on them, the shower heads are old and covered in brown stuff (I don't even know what to call it), the kitchen sprayer is covered in a hard white substance that I tried to scrub off and was unable to get off, the dishes all had to be rewashed because they were filthy (I really think the last people may have put dirty dishes away instead of cleaning them and clearly the cleaning service does not check the dishes), the vacuum was 1/2 way broken (wheel was not on and nowhere to be found). Along with the uncleanliness of the house there were many other problems with the house; the closet in the master room is broken and doesn't open or shut on one side (it's kind of stick 1/2 folded), the lock on the sliding door in the guest room (going out to the back porch) isn't even there so you can't lock it at all, the door by the table in the living area does not open without having to lift it up and drag it, the door by the TV doesn't open at all and the glass was so dirty you literally couldn't even see out of it (covered in a thick white film of some sort), there is a nail/sharp metal object sticking out of the edge of the carpet near the table that ripped my sock, guest tv gets 1 channel, there is no where to rinse off before coming into the house, the sink in the master bath is rotting on the toilet side, the shower head in the master bath is so crummy that I don't even have words to describe it. These are just some of the issues here. The only thing this little house has going for it is it's location to the beach, but for the price it's not even worth that. It needs some serious maintenance at the least.

Beware

Listen to the reviews!! We thought it wouldn’t be that bad but we were wrong. This place is in need of desperate repairs and upgrades. The sliding doors in the living room won’t open, there are terrible wrinkles in the carpet which is a trip hazard, you can feel the springs in one of the beds and the pull out couch, what little things are provided in the kitchen is very old and worn out and there is not a shower or even spicket outside to wash the sand off which is a nightmare. I put in a request to please fix the spicket and someone came and cut the pipe off at the ground and never came back. The view (which you have to stand up to see because of the cheap low plastic chairs provided) and the location is the ONLY saving grace for this place. It could be perfect with a little TLC.

Last minute get away

Location was great! Perfect view of the beach. The house needs a lot of work, both inside and out. Furniture was not comfortable nor were the beds. The house was clean on the inside but the outside look’s unkept. Needs a lot of attention!!

Old and outdated

Furniture and kitchen was old and outdated. Couch covers were as dirty as the couches. Carpet had wrinkles causing a trip hazard. Master bedroom had a bifold door for the bathroom leaving no privacy. Sliding glass doors are old and hard to open and close. Under the house parking was in disrepair. Only box it checked is that it was beachfront.

Place needs updates Bad

The place is on the beach which is really nice but needs an update inside the house the furniture looks like it’s been there since 1980s very very small bathrooms all the curtain rods were rusted and falling off every time you open the door the lights kept turning off and on by there self because of shortage in the electrical the pots and pans were really old unusable old no dishwasher and no stopper for sink to wash dishes

Not what we expected

No outside shower, a hose bib with no handle, roaches in kitchen and the refrigerator door was so rusted it looked horrible. Also house needs to be updated!

Ocean front is nice

I’ll call the stay decent. Great view, great deck, nice floor plan for 2 couples. Disappointed in the spare bedroom mattress it was very poor condition. Master was good. Sheets and towels were good. Furniture was very uncomfortable and worn. Kitchen was functionable, but the lare amount of rust on the refrigerator door, and cockroaches was very unappealing This is a bargin basement rental. Water quality was muddy most days. But the beach was very nice. This was less than most ocean front rentals and overall it worked good
