Need some TLC

The location of the house is perfect and close to grocery and restaurants. The house is furnished nicely, but the couch needs to be replaced. It is visibly in horrible shape and I mean horrible and there’s no way anyone and by anyone I mean the owner thinks that someone can sit on the couch and be comfortable. There is also one single barstool but the pictures show multiple. Hard for 12 people to sit when the sofa is in horrible shape it is only one barstool. The blinds need to be addressed as well because most of them are in the pantry. When I go back to Orlando, I would stay in the same community again with no hesitation, but I would definitely not stay in that unit.

D2 summit stay.

Upon arrival we noticed that there was tomato seeds and size smears across the kitchen wall by the light switches. The living room couch was broken in numerous spots and the springs poked you. A bathroom upstairs had no door on the shower at all nor a shower curtain and water went everywhere. I emailed the owner and she sent someone to hang up a shower curtain the next day but nothing else was addressed. The house itself was very modern and pretty, but definitely needs to be scrubbed and updated furniture.

Beautiful place, several things need repaired

Property was beautiful. Pool was fantastic! Loved the location! One bathroom had no shower door and couldn’t be used. Bedspreads were dirty. Guest had a horrible experience with trying to get in the gate when they had email confirming to add them for a parking pass that was not sent prior.

Nice Stay for Disney

The house was updated and clean. We have stayed in Champions Gate many times and the neighborhood is very nice. The House amenities were also good. We only had a few issues with the home: - The couch is HORRIBLE. There are springs that poke you when you sit down and it’s supposed to be a sectional but it is in pieces. It is essentially unusable - There is no shower door in one of the upstairs master bathrooms so water gets EVERYWHERE - The shower curtain in the second master bedroom is broken and kept falling - There are no extra sheets or bedding - Most of the living room furniture is broken and I would not recommend small children to be around it (couch, coffee table, tv console) If you are looking for a clean place to lay your head at night after a long day at Disney, this is a great place. It is not meant for a place to lay on the couch and hang around. Also, if you need a pack n play, there is not one on site and you must request it BEFORE you arrive.

Disappointed Stay

I normally leave nothing but good reviews for every house my family has rented. I have never canceled in the middle of my stay until this one. So here are the positives: The location was great and just about a half hour drive from the airport. The number of bedrooms was also adequate. There was no shortage of space. Communication was ongoing from the night we arrived until the last minutes of our stay. Now to the negatives: All the furniture in the house need upgrades. The bed and couch felt like sleeping on top of springs. My 1 year old got on the couch and had a cut on his chest from one of the springs in the couch. I called to have the couch removed and someone came to look at take pictures of the couch. Not sure why but he said they will replace the couch the next day. That wasn’t done. At this point I’m becoming impatient. If I was only there for a day or two, I wouldn’t fuss but we booked for a weeks stay. Second thing was the pool didn’t heat up even though we paid in full for the heated pool. I made another call and was told that “there was no record” of my call that the pool didn’t warm up. I asked to cancel the rest of my stay. This by far was my worst experience using VRBO or any other services. I am wary of renting from them again. Rented a different house through another site and had an amazing time!
