Great 4th of July Place to Visit.

The cottage is adorable and speaks to a simpler time. July is of course one of the warmer months in Fl but the window unit ac's did make it comfortable at night.

Best place ever

Property is beautiful but the air conditioning was not so nice nor the fridge. It is very hot in this house. They should install central air. Refrigerator needed to be defrosted as the freezer did nor work. I will say i did leave items after my departure and they were kind of enough to mail me my items at my expense of course and I am very greatful. If they fix the air in this house I would stay again.

Great Home!

This is a great home! It does need some updating but was very clean. Good floor plan, it was perfect for our needs. We usually stay on the beach while we're in FL but we discovered we prefer being on inter coastal with the quiet and wild life! We had a minor problem with door lock and their repair guy was there within the hour. Will stay there again!

Amazing Stay

We loved our stay at Coastal Escape. Waking up every morning to the view of the water was great! We had coffee every morning on the dock and a drink every night! Within walking distance to the beach. So that was a plus. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood! Overall we had a fantastic stay!

60th Birthday

Could’ve used a blow dryer and there wasn’t any. Add a little bit more household needs like dish soap. More shampoos & soap. Needed a Wi-Fi code that wasn’t on the house welcome book. It was on the back of the modem.

5 Star View... 3 Star House

PROS - The view in this backyard is AMAZING. You can see the dolphins swimming in the bay in the morning. That was a highlight for us! You are paying for that view and the Florida charm. - The house was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, the couch was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. - The area is really cool- the house was located really close to a public beach access and to great restaurants and cafes. - The management company was VERY responsive once your time started. YOU SHOULD KNOW - The A/C wall units make the house hard to cool during a heat wave. I won’t hold that against, but I would ask that the owners leave some instructions on how to best cool the house down. The A/C in the main bedroom was dripping water so loud it was hard to fall asleep. - The house is older and in need of some updates. The cedar plank walls had a smell that takes some getting used to. CONS- - Our biggest issue was plumbing. I hope it was a fluke and this doesn’t happen to other guests, but all tubs and toilets stopped draining. The rental company was very helpful and they got a plumber there ASAP. But it still took a day. The shower in the 2nd room never drained fast enough to not fear flooding, so we all just used the main bath. - The living room TV was broken when we got there. (Half the screen was black.) The bedroom TV remote didn’t have batteries either, so we were forced to unplug a bit more than expected. - The outside furniture was pretty dirty

4th of July overnight stay

Beautiful view where we could see fireworks in every direction. Cute place for short term stay in very nice neighborhood and quick walk to beach and restaurants.

Cannot beat the location .

We had a great time. It was so relaxing to be able to sit out by the water and see the dolphins and manatees go by and fishing. The house was a little bit older but it felt so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Adorable, comfy home. About 1/2 mile walk to beach. Beach is clean and beautiful. My sons loved fishing off the dock.

Relaxing property

Very relaxing and clean home. Dolphins feeding around the dock in the evenings and mornings. Plenty of fish around to be caught. Local bait shop up the road and every cast we had bites. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. Neighbors were very friendly as well. So much to do just in IRB alone. Weekdays were best for the beach. Will definitely consider this home again for future stays.

Mostly good

Overall the property was worthwhile. The view was great and the location was quiet and convenient. I was disappointed, however, when I had to contact the rental agency when I did not hear that the property was available even though I waited until after 4:00 pm. Also when the shower door fell off from the wall I was told maintenance would be there asap but no one ever came.

Spring Break Trip

Nice location easily walkable to Indian Rock Beach and local restaurants. Quiet location tucked away in a neighborhood. Nice dock where our kids were able to do some fishing and we saw the occasional dolphins swim by!

Perfect view!

I loved staying on the bay. The house was really cute and has windows all along the back wall overlooking the bay. The beach was an easy walk from the house. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Clearwater and St Pete were easily drivable. Definitely recommend!

The property is in a great location - close to the beach and restaurants. The house was clean. There were small ants but not enough to complain about. We would stay here again.

Short getaway with my sister and to see friends

The house was darling and we enjoyed looking out at the water. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Our only problem there was no blow dryer. Tiny ants in the kitchen and not enough toilet paper and paper towels. Other then that we had a wonderful time sitting out on the dock having our coffee and enjoying our wine at night

Perfect charming home away from home

This was our mother daughter trip and both mom and I loved loved love the property… the decor and view from the living room was just magical and peaceful. We were able to cook everyday and enjoy the view from the dinning area. Reading other reviews was able to give us a clear idea of what to bring or get before even arriving so we were well stocked for our week. Washer dryer is on the property also which comes in handy.

Great little cottage!

Amazing location! Loved sunrises on the dock watching the dolphins and birds! Then in the evenings just a short walk to the beach for sunsets. Everything you need is within walking distance. We just absolution love this area. The cottage was adorable and clean. Small ant problem. But we just kept everything put away. The beds were very comfortable. Great showers and the a/c units cooled the place very well. We would definition rent again here!
