** ESPECIAL DE REPARACION DE MAR
El complejo Kahana Reef se encuentra en medio de la reparación del dique. La fase 1 se ha completado. La fase 2 comenzará el 1 de junio de 2019. Algunas de las cosas que puede esperar durante la construcción: el horario de construcción es de lunes a viernes de 8 am a 5 pm, y la construcción pesada comienza después de las 9 am. Dependiendo de la marea, a veces el trabajo comenzará antes de las 8 am. El trabajo requerirá maquinaria pesada. El trabajo será ruidoso y disruptivo. Parte del trabajo es la remoción del concreto existente que requerirá martillado. El área sur del estacionamiento perderá espacios de estacionamiento para equipos de construcción y suministros. El estacionamiento puede ser un poco estrecho y, si es necesario, se aplicará la política de un auto por unidad. Las áreas de césped de Makai estarán fuera de los límites dentro y alrededor del área de construcción, comenzando en el extremo sur.
La piscina puede o no estar cerrada en algún momento. Eso se determinará a medida que el trabajo se acerque más al área de la piscina.

A Great Place to Stay

The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a few night stay. The highlight of the stay was watching the sea turtles eating algae from the sea wall along the back of the property.

We enjoy our stay. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's clean and comfortable and a great place to crash at the end of a busy day.

Unbelievable view!

We loved our time in Kahana Reef. The view is unbelievable right from the balcony. We could watch the whales all day every day if we wanted. The pool is small but clean and warm. And anyway, there is beach access right from the property. The sea turtles feeding in the sea wall were a treat as well. Interior was clean and adequately furnished with plenty of towels and kitchen needs. We’ll definitely choose here again!

Great find.

This condo was clean and in a great location. I was a bit nervous with it noy having a/c but the constant ocean breeze made the condo the perfect temp. We enjoyed being on the 4th floor because we could see so many turtles in the bay. Overall we were surprised how comfortable our stay was as the condo is a little older. The view was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. There was some street noise at times during the night because we slept with the windows open but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall we enjoyed this property and it is so reasonably priced.

Great oceanfront property

Really enjoyed this stay. The unit wasn’t particularly luxurious but was a great little condo that met our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with Tupperware and a good knife set which was great as we cooked several times during our stay. The location on the island doesn’t have a great reef for snorkeling or swimming out front, but the ocean views are perfect, especially during whale season. I was very grateful for the great beach chairs and umbrella but would have appreciated a few more things in the unit that usually come with other Hawaii condos, like a small cooler or other beach items. Also, several of the outlets only had one plug working and the smoke detector makes a very faint frequent beeping sound that is not the regular chirp of the batteries going out that took a while getting used to. Overall, a great stay and I would stay here again.

Amazing condo with a view!

My fiancé and I have stayed in this area before, (next door to this building) and absolutely love the area. Super close to delicious coffee, food and a beach. The condo is amazing, super clean and has an amazing view! We sat on the lanai while drinking our morning cup of coffee everyday. We also sat on the lanai and watch the sunset almost everyday, unless we were down at the beach. Highly recommend renting this condo for your trip to Maui, you won’t be disappointed one bit😎🤙🏽

Good location

The property is fairly old but well maintained. Good insulation from noise and a beautiful view. although very small in size it was good for two. Having no beach was a downer but the pool was adequate. would have been nice to know what eating places were around and maybe a better way of knowing how to contact the property managers. no onsite people in the office (ever) was a little unnerving but that's Hawaii. Overall I'd rate it an 8 to 9 on a 10 scale.

A fantastic place to stay.

The view from the balcony and the grounds down below are worth everything. It is a great place. We had a great stay. The bathroom needs a little work from a plumber. The toilet needs to flush in one flush.

Kahana Reef 406

Amazing view. The ocean is right there, and there are convenient steps down to the beach. The pool was also very nice. Note that the condo is covered with mirrors, so be ready for that. The only downside is the location. Doing pretty much anything except going to Lahaina requires a good amount of driving.

Beautiful view

The location of Kahana Reef is perfect to enjoy the ocean view. The unit could use a little updating but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed whale watching from the lanai.

It’s all about the view, view, view!

Super easy check in process. We had a few very minor items needed…spare key, sink stopper, etc and the management team responded right away and came the same day. The view was spectacular- rainbows and sunsets galore! We used the grill one night, it was clean and easy to use. It was a quiet area for the most part except people shooting off fireworks for the New Year but I would get the same at home in Ohio so I would much rather tolerate that in Maui! All in all, it was an amazing trip!

It had a great view of the ocean!

The property was very well maintained and clean. It had a great view of the ocean from the lanai. The only thing I wish there was...is an umbrella to take to the beach and maybe boogie boards. Overall was a very nice place to stay.

Great Value in a terrific location

This unit has an absolutely spectacular view and is truly oceanfront. The west facing unit is the perfect location to watch the sunset. The only thing between the building and the water is the very nice pool for the complex. We had a great time at Kahana Reef and would not hesitate to return. That said, be aware that the property does not have air conditioning, which initially was a turn off, but forced us to leave the big slider facing the ocean open, which lets a strong breeze run through the unit every night and cools it very well and let's in the surf sound. I slept like a baby every night. The unit is a great value, which means that for the price you can't beat the location and while clean and well equipped, the unit is starting to show its age. I found the location to be perfect with a small beach right next door to the complex.

Best view ever! The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. The managers very helpful and didn't for a minute act like I was bothering them when I asked questions . Very nice. I highly recommend.

Didn't realize there was very loud construction going on right below our window. Realtor said it was on the ad, but we never saw it. Couldn't relax or sleep between 9am- 5pm, drilling in concrete; sawing; hammering etc.Roaches in kitchen.
