Excellent views

This property is just as advertised, the views are gorgeous and the location is great. It is close to restaurants, bars, and the beach but far enough from downtown to be able to relax with some peace and quiet!

Great experience, great deal

What an amazing setup. Walk out ground floor was great for the kids that loved the pool 2-3x a day. Ten steps down to the beach was a daily ritual. Mixture of permanent residents and vacationers were very friendly and quite helpful. Condo had cookware and beachware and a great shower. Perfect for the simple escape we were looking for. Mahalo...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Maui since our honeymoon in 1975. We have been staying in Napili for over thirty years. Things have changing over the years, and we needed something new. Kahana Reef was such a fresh breath to our souls. It was right on the ocean with easy access for snorkling. Viewa were spectacular and it was so quit allowing for great relaxation. Interior was well planned and very essential to our needs. We will go back and yes it is more expensive than other locations however, you are so close to so many different shops, restaurant's, markets, gas and helpful locals. In our opinion we would recommend Kahana Reef for those visiting Maul and looking for a great condo. The one negative thing is that they only have 1 oe 2 units throughout the complex.

Lovely location for watching whales.....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has comfortable furnishings, including the couch in the living room and the king-size bed in the bedroom. The air conditioner in the bedroom kept it comfortable for our stay. We did not ever use the portable air conditioner in the main living area. We found it was comfortable enough with the ceiling fan and the breeze from outside.The patio was a lovely place to sit and play cards, eat, watch the whales, etc. The unit could use a metal spatula for use on the outdoor grill on property. Also maybe a butcher knife and paring knife. There were steak knives and the rest of the utensils were fine. Our shower handle broke one day of our stay. Management did their absolute best to rectify the situation, but with Covid, etc on island it was difficult to find someone to come and fix it. We went a couple of nights with no shower so we used pitchers and pots to get clean. Not ideal, but I know they were trying. We were compensated two night's lodging, which I think was fair.I have viewed other units at this property and I feel like this unit had really nice furnishings overall. It was nice to be cooking in the kitchen and be able to see out to the ocean. Oh, and bonus for future guests, the shower is newly upgraded!The beach next door had a reasonably sandy entrance and although I didn't make it out very far, it appeared many people snorkeled quite a bit from there.Location was good for other activities. Grocery stores, Smiths, Foodland and Kings were all within a reasonable distance. I would stay here again

Spectacular Views!

From the Kitchen thru the Living Room thru the Double Sliding Door out to the Lanai and the Grass and then past the property Sea Wall...the fabulous views of Molokai and Lanai...and the Sea Turtles (along the Sea Wall) and most importantly...the Whales!

Perfect location for our family. Great view with a short drive to Lihana and northwest beaches. Also, nice smaller beach feet away. Would recommend to others.
