Condo confortable

Bien situé, condo avec un lit très confortable et avec beaucoup de rangement. Il y a trop de fauteuils très usés au salon ce qui empêche de bien circuler et bloque la vue. Le ménage est fait rapidement il y avait beaucoup de poussière derrière les meubles et les bas de portes...Nous avons fait un ménage et nous avons passé un très beau séjour

Great apartment in a great location

I come to Hollywood, FL annually for a business conference and have stayed at The Tides previously in a different unit with a different property manager. Previously, I had my wife and daughters with me, so we required a larger unit. This trip, it was just me, so I opted for a one bedroom unit. The property is in a great location and the unit was just as listed. Once in the apartment, outside of the internet not working for a period of time, everything about the apartment was as advertised. It was clean, had ocean views from the balcony and was spacious. Checking in and the lack of communication from the property manager was a big issue. There was no communication from the property manager before I arrived with the exception of the confirmation of payment response two months prior to my arrival. I reached out multiple times for check in procedures with no response. In fact, once I arrived at the building, even though the property management company had my reservation and checked me in, nobody had the code to the apartment door. Therefore it took me three hours of waiting, stressing and trying to reach the property management contact to get into the apartment. After three hours, I received the code and got in the apartment. The internet stopped working for a few hours during my stay, but other than that, the building and unit are fine. I tried to message the property manager for check out procedures (where to put garbage, recycle, etc.) but did not receive a response. To summarize, a really nice apartment but literally zero communication from the property manager. Check in was about as bad as it could be. For a while, I thought I was going to have to get a hotel and fight for a refund. It took me being on hold with VRBO's help line to finally get through to the person who had the code for the apartment door. It is a shame that communication was so poor, as I've stayed at this building before and would do so again. The unit was really good, but I wouldn't stay at this unit again simply because the property manager for this particular unit is very difficult to reach and doesn't provide you with even small details - like the code required to enter the apartment! We Slhall Come Back!

We are snowbirds from New England who have traveled to Hollywood Beach for the past four winters to escape the cold, ice, and snow. This was our third time at The Tides, although our first in Unit 15A. We enjoyed our three month visit and have reserved this unit for next year. Fabiana, the rental agent was fantastic! She checked in with us before our stay giving us necessary instructions and called shortly after our arrival to see if we needed anything. The unit was just like the pictures. It was well-furnished and the kitchen had most everything that we needed. The balcony awards a beautiful view of both the ocean and the intracoastal waterway. The Tides itself is an older complex of two buildings that is clean and well-maintained. It has two large heated pools. They do need to purchase more chairs in the pool area. It has excellent security and the staff is friendly. The elevators can be very busy at times. They have three passenger and one freight elevator. They have been working on installing new elevators for over a year now and there are never more than three elevators working at one time and sometimes only two. In the whole scheme of things, that is just a minor nuisance because 15A is a beautiful unit and you will enjoy your stay. We most certainly did and that is why we shall come back!
