Kiahuna Plantation Condo - ¡Tan cerca de la playa!

Hermosa plantación de Kiahuna se encuentra en la mundialmente famosa playa de Poipu. Disfrute paseando por 35 acres de paraíso tropical con jardines de orquídeas elegantes y cactus inusuales. Los edificios son de estilo plantación con persianas en las ventanas y ventiladores de techo que circulan por la brisa del océano en todo el condominio.

Nuestro condominio, # 167 ubicado en el Edificio 26, es una planta baja, unidad final con vista parcial al mar y un lanai semiprivado, ¡a menos de un minuto a pie del océano! Disfrute de un ambiente relajado mientras cena o cena a la parrilla en una de las dos barbacoas junto a la laguna a solo unos pasos. La cabaña de playa, que ofrece toallas, sillas y equipo de snorkel para alquilar, también está a solo un minuto a pie del condominio. Hay varios campos de golf y muchos restaurantes a poca distancia. Una vez reservado, daremos acceso a nuestro paquete de información sobre el condominio, Kiahuna y Kauai.

Somos miembros del Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Nuestros huéspedes tienen acceso completo al club, incluida la piscina con tobogán, canchas de tenis y equipo de entrenamiento sin cargo adicional.

Mantenemos el condominio actualizado! Nuestra reciente remodelación en 2018 y 2019 incluye la actualización de la ducha, el piso de baldosas, la alfombra de la habitación y todos los muebles nuevos de sala y comedor. Los electrodomésticos pequeños se cambian anualmente o según sea necesario.

¡Kauai es un sueño para los amantes de la naturaleza! Spouting Horn es un fenómeno natural a solo 2, 5 millas de distancia de Kiahuna Plantation. Disfrute de un recorrido panorámico por el cañón de Waimea y disfrute de las vistas panorámicas de la costa de Na Pali. Hay muchos lugares maravillosos para bucear en la isla, incluso justo en frente del complejo. El surf, el boogie board y el body surf también están ahí. Las rutas de senderismo también son numerosas en la isla. El Heritage Trail está justo en frente de Kiahuna. Super comfortable bed, and plenty of nice dressers to store our clothes, well stocked kitchen for pots, pans, utensils, and cookware plus small appliances so we could cook just about anything we wanted to. The shower was perfect, with nonstop hot water, and great water pressure, we didn't miss having a tub much. The location near the beach was very convenient too, plus a shopping center within walking distance. The TV worked perfectly, fans and air conditioning were very much needed and worked well. The grounds outside were just beautiful, with grass and flowers and tropical plants everywhere and so many birds singing, we really enjoyed having some wine or a cocktail in the afternoon and sitting outside on the lounge chairs looking at everything, although the "partial ocean view' really wasn't a thing unless you were in an upper unit, because you couldn't see the water like we hoped to. The only reason for giving 4 stars is because the parking was truly an issue we didn't expect. We felt like we couldn't even go out to dinner much because if you returned after 6 pm there was zero parking nearby unless you parked way up at the top of the condos by the main street and walked quite a way. The other inconvenience was laundry. I don't expect to do a lot of washing but planned to do it once. It was a very far away drive, and cost over 10 a load for wash, dry and soap. Too much trouble plus a huge waste of vacation time to watch it. An in-unit machine would be so much better!

Lovely and cozy apartment. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only thing that we didn’t like was the mandatory cleaning fee that came on top and was nowhere mentioned during the booking. And for that finding little plastic bags under the nightstand (most likely from earplugs) that fee is even more ridiculous. We missed Salt & Pepper. But other than that, the whole Kiahuna Plantation Compound is lovely, the beach is awesome.

Kiahuna Plsntstion gardens

The unit was clean, conveniently located to our favorite beaches and restaurants, and we loved sitting on the patio overlooking the garden. We will come back again when we visit Poipu.

Perfect location, needs some spiffing up

We love the Kiahuna Plantation and have stayed in many different units over the years. This unit is in need of some TLC. It has not been update like most of the other units we've stayed in. Having said that we love the location of this unit, we just wish it was a bit less shabby.

We loved everything about our stay. The location, the condo, the area and the host. We asked if we could come a day early and they checked for us , it was available and they did not charge us any extra. Wow, we were amazed and appreciative. 10 out 0f 10 all around

Perfect Location!

We love the Kiahuna Plantation property and especially loved this location--steps to the beach and with a semi-private lawn out back. The condo was clean and had tons of beach toys. We really appreciated the extra blow up bed too. One thing to note with a floor unit is that you can hear your neighbors upstairs in this complex--the floors are thin. But it's a nice trade-off to be able to walk out the back lanai to the beach. The dishwasher was also broken, but otherwise, it was a great stay- we would stay here again! Thank you!

Spring break with the kids

Had a great time. Location and how close it is to the beach hut, beach and Sheraton is ideal. Ground floor is convenient, though sprinklers are pretty loud early in the morning. Condo size is great for a family of four. Beach chairs are super convenient.

Explore From the Door

Comfortable and cozy with a lovely patio for dining and relaxing any time of day. Every day there's a short or long walk to speical beaches. Green Turtles and Monk seals rested on the sands. The surf was too rough for swimming, but the weather was warm and partly sunny. We love eating in and the food trucks fed us many eveings. A new spot for us was Grandma's Kitchen in Hanapepe...a real treat. We bought fruit at roadside stands, shopped for groceries in Koloa as always. I Love Kauai and Poipu.

Great stay!

Ray and Mary’s place was fantastic! The location in the complex was an easy walk to the beach. About as close as you could get without being in one of the oceanfront units. We walked around the point each night to watch the sunset over the ocean. Beach was calm enough to swim in the ocean in February. Unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay! Fantastic cross breezes kept everything the perfect temperature. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Stay!

This property itself is beautiful as well as the surrounding grounds! It is so close to the beach which is so convenient and a short walk there from the condo. We loved the beautiful coastal decor and the place was stocked with everything you need for the beach. We loved our stay here in Kauai and would definitely recommend to others and stay here again in the future!

Great stay

We had a great stay in Mary’s condo. The no a/c was a non issue (stayed in February). All the windows are without glass so you get constant breezes. The kitchen had everything we needed except salt and pepper. The fridge had an ice maker which was great. My kids said the sofa bed was comfortable and the king bed was comfy as well.Loved the location close to the beach. The condo also had all the necessary beach equipment like chairs umbrellas etc. We drove across the street to the pool twice and the kids enjoyed the little slide. Overall would recommend and stay again (not in the summer tho-I’d need a/c). But loved the overall property of the Kiahuna .

Loved the location

Such a great spot for our getaway to Kauai. We loved being so close to the beach so we could walk and enjoy our morning coffee listening to the waves. Being across the street from shopping and dining made it an easy to walk for anything needed.

Kauai Paradise

We have stayed in this Kiahuna Plantation unit a couple times previously, so we knew we wanted to stay in it again. This unit is in a prime location, with a beautiful view from the ground level lanai, very short walk to the beach (1-2 minutes, tops), and close to everything in Poipu, Kukui'ula and Koloa. The layout and furniture are wonderful, and the kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, dishes, mixing bowls, baking dishes, etc. It is always so relaxing! And the new key code locks are great - you no longer need to worry about taking your key card with you.

Pleasant Unit for a Couple

We have stayed at this unit twice and it suited our needs. It’s nothing fancy, but very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and communicated with us immediately. There is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans were all we needed with the breezes. We do not visit Kauai during the summer, so the three floor fans might be needed then.

We are a family of four originally from the east coast and have been living in the Seattle area since 2002.

We love the vintage feel of Kiahuna, the sounds of the ocean that we hear from the condo, the privacy of the lanai, the smell of the tropical flowers and the amazing grounds and gardens. It is a peaceful, special place that our family has enjoyed coming to every year for almost 20 years.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The closeness to the beach! Early morning walks in either direction provide expansive views of the ocean as well as sea turtles swimming in the surf, dolphins and whales (seasonally). The preserved ancient sacred grounds add to the unique feel of this very special island.
