Incredible views and great location

The condo was excellent -- we loved the location, the spaciousness, the hot tub. but more than anything the breathtaking views from the family room and hot tub. We also appreciated being ski in/out. great place!

For the most part the stay was pleasant but if you list it as a Luxury Apartment there should be a few things better. Fireplace in the Master Bedroom had a "gas" leak that caused a horrific smell and we had to sleep in the bedroom that night. Only to find out there was a problem the day before and we were not told about it. Fireplace in the living room was finicky and took a minimum of 3 times to get it started with a "pop" every time. Some of the jets in the hot tub were not working and the hot tub from the floor above us was leaking, creating ice and a dangerous path to get into the hot tub. Bathrooms: in the hall by the entrance the bowl would run for a long time and one of the handles on the second bedroom was falling off. Again - if you are listing this as a Luxury Apartment then there needs to be an attention to details - especially at the price we were charged. Suggestion: When you are a ski on ski off house you should have a detailed instruction on how to get back to the house. Written instructions on what lifts to take and what trails access the house. It took us several tries and were not successful to get back to the house since we didn't know the name of the trail behind the house. The iPad map does not help a great deal, (moonlight basin is right in the way of the trail names and paths on it plus you don't know what set of houses you are) a paper one would have been better.

This place is absolutely amazing! The sunrise views from the living room are some of the best Ive ever seen! The customer service and communication were perfect and the check in process was seamless. Would absolutely stay here again, in fact cant wait to book our next stay!

Lovely Unit 6A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful views from huge windows. The condo is in great shape except for the door going onto deck which doesn’t close properly and that door’s window shade doesn’t go up/down. Kitchen is perfectly stocked with all items you’d ever need to cook. The “ski out” is simple as it’s directly behind the unit. The “ski in” is difficult and confusing on the way back in but once you find the slightly hidden magic turn you’re home free. Mgt was very attentive. Definitely recommend!

Luxury Suite Unit 6A stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We honeymooned in moonlight basin during our stay at Luxury Suite Unit 6A. The customer service and management company team were very professional and always helpful in helping us find activities and getting arranged properly. The scenery is like nothing else I have ever seen. Absolutely gorgeous. The only downfall was they did not inform us they would be painting the front of the building so we had construction workers outside of our window all day and still were charged full price and not notified. I would return again.

Fabulous Stay

Our stay at this property couldn't have been better. This location has everything you need and want. The views are amazing from the large wrap-around deck and the deck furniture was fabulous. There were 3 couples who stayed for 4 nights and we had more than enough room. I absolutely loved this spot and would return again and again. It was well appointed - the only thing we were missing was salt! which was an easy fix. I highly recommend this location to anyone - anytime of the year.

Luxury Suite not luxurious

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Luxury Suite 6A. The house is beautiful, but many of the amenities that we chose this house for didn’t work or apply. We thought we were splurging on a home with bells and whistles, but this home, or the upkeep of it, fell short. The gas grill had so much grease build up, our steaks caught fire the first night; we didn’t try using the grill for rest of our stay. We were provided six pieces of wood for the outdoor fireplace. I called on the second day and s/w Hayden to get more wood to enjoy the outdoor fireplace, who said there might be a charge for the firewood... he would check on it and call me back. I didn’t hear back. Definitely surprised to hear I’d be charged for replacement firewood. We only discovered the Ninja blender didn’t work after it was filled with ice and piña colada mix for the kids dessert. :(No towels provided for hot tub. There are only 8 bath towels in the home (but they were the softest bath towels I’ve ever felt and wish I had written down the brand). We used the hot tub the first night, and it worked great. Then next night we tried to use it, the water was only half full. Security responded quickly but said there was nothing he could do because it was after hours (7:30pm). I told him how disappointed we were in all of the things that didn’t work, and he told me I should receive a credit back, and management would call me in morning. Hayden called in the morning and I relayed my disappointment, (him not getting back to me included) and he apologized and said management would reach out. Still haven’t heard from management, 10 days later. We rented the house for our family of seven, to enjoy after long days of exploring national parks, but we would have been better off in a hotel, as the perks of this house weren’t working, and Moonlight Basin management didn’t care.

Those views!!!

Stayed here for Spring Break with my husband and 3 children (ages 16, 14 and 10). Plenty of space! Home is meticulously maintained and cozy. Kitchen well stocked and easy to cook for a large family. The hot tub was our favorite! Soak after a day on the slopes and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains. I’m not sure you could find a better view anywhere on the resort! Home was perfect for ski in/ski out. All green trails to Derringer Lift, 6 Shooter lifts and back to property which was important to me as an occasional skier. My only complaint (if you’d call it that) was the noise level from the unit above. We could hear footsteps/thumping and furniture being moved the entirety of our stay. Didn’t really bother us but something to consider if you are sensitive to things like that. Otherwise, a perfect and relaxing vacation! Would absolutely rent property again.

Wonderful vacation home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home that had everything we needed! We loved the personal touches like the welcome basket, fully stocked outdoor fireplace with kindling, and lotion in the bathrooms. The only thing I would recommend is to have a newspaper for fire lighting (although we made due with the welcome information) and softer sheets in the bedroom. They were a little starchy. Overall we LOVED the place and will definitely be back!
