Perfect Mountain Retreat!

The views are amazing and the balcony was perfect for viewing the incredible July 4th fireworks show.

Perfect Unit for a family ski vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place for a family ski vacation. Everything was well maintained and functional. Its certainly not fancy, but the beds are comfortable, it feels clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Some items to note, Parking is a bit of a fiasco. We had to wait in line nearly an hour to check in and unload our car on a Friday night. Also, you have to take a shuttle to and from the front desk to the parking or to connect with the ski shuttle. Overall, we would stay here again, but the parking situation was definately a drawback.

Old dirty building.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo building is way up on the mountain. You have to get a shuttle from parking lot to car, which takes 20 minutes total. No restaurant or little store there. It is an old carpeted building, old carpet, it killed our allergies. It was all-in-all an unpleasant stay. The rental company would not return my call or reply to my email whilst we stayed there. The pool was great, for sure

Would Not Recommend

Upon arriving we had to go back down the mountain to pick up our key to get into the room instead of them just having it in the lobby. We then walk into a dirty room, dirty towels, trash on the balcony, and dirty dishes in dishwasher. They sent housekeeping back up and they did not do much. That night we tried to shower. The hot water lasted 2 minutes. They said to wait 30 minutes and try again. Still no hot water. We complained about the hot water and how dirty the room was. They did send another housekeeper the next day. She did a much better job but still the hot water only lasted 2 minutes each time. There were 4 people and only one person could barely shower. The property manager was very responsive and told us what we wanted to hear. I would not recommend this place.

Great condo

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo 2504 has a nice view. The furniture was fairly new. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The only downside is the parking at the lower lots and having to take the shuttle back and forth to our car, which was a slight inconvenience that became a major hassle on check out day when everyone was waiting for an hour.

Pay attention to the details

We weren’t aware that we could only take two showers and then we had to wait 35 minutes before we could take two more showers. Parking was a problem. We went to the condo, unloaded, drive back to the parking lot, and took a shuttle back to the condo. When it’s snowing that’s a hassle. The owners need to updated.

Thanksgiving getaway

Reviewer Comments: My family decided we were tired of being stuck in our house for covid and wanted to do the holiday in a different surrounding.Pros:- Spectacular view. Seriously, spectacular.- The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans.- Wifi was strong and reliable.- Unit was very clean.- Kids loved the pool.Cons:- In addition to shuttling to parking, only five cars were allowed at a time to drive up and unload. So we waited in line at the security gate for 45 minutes before we could unload, and no one explained to us what the wait was about until we pulled up.- My showers featured about 60 seconds of hot water. If you have more than two people in your group, prepare for cold showers.- The fireplace is wood-burning.- The rental agency said check-out is at 10am, but what they meant was the key is to be returned at the office at 10am, which means that once you factor in the time to shuttle to your car, pull it up, load your things, then drive to the office, check-out is more like 9:15am.Overall, it was nice enough - the kids enjoyed the pool and we were able to cook out Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen without much trouble. And the view is truly unbelievable. But coming and going were serious ordeals.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view and even in the fog, a nice peace and relaxation. The property was in good shape and has all the comforts that you could want. Beds were comfortable. Cleanliness was 4 out of 5 but that has to do with the staff that come in and pick up after each guest. Overall, no problems and I would return.

Nice little place in the clouds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, but the cleaning could have been better. Upon arrival I noticed dust on the entertainment center and base of the floor lamp in the living room. Also, there are mirrored walls in the dining and living rooms that were streaked, nothing too major until the next morning when I went to make coffee. The coffee pot had dried coffee and coffee grinds stuck in the bottom, and coffee grinds all inside of it, as I started to clean all that out, my hands became sticky from the outside of the coffee maker, it was just filthy inside and out. The oven had some much cleaner residue in it that it smoked horribly and smelled of burnt chemicals. The check in process was very easy, and everyone was very nice and helpful with the exception of one older gentleman who was at the front desk the evening that we checked into the property, he was not very nice and came across as a bit of an a**. We never saw him again after we checked in, and everyone else was extremely nice, eager to offer advice and directions.

Great Family Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, we had a great experience with Cody & the rental company. Our check in package was ready before 3pm & we were able to get into our unit with no trouble at all.The views from the unit are lovely. The bedrooms are a nice size & the beds comfortable. The heated pool, hot tub, & sauna were all really nice to have. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few things that we wished we had known ahead of time:- We found that the water pressure & hot water would run out quickly, especially if someone else was using the other shower, or kitchen water, etc. - Parking is tricky. You pull up to the condo building, unload & then if you are one of the lucky few, you can park right there within close proximity to the front door (parking by permit only). However, we were not so fortunate and then had to take our vehicles down the hill to a 2nd or 3rd parking lot, monitored by a security guard and then ride the shuttle back up to the top where the building was located. We understood there was a shuttle, but we were under the impression that the shuttle would take us to the village, not just our car. Perhaps some clarity in that would be beneficial to future guests. It was really inconvenient with children/strollers/carseats to unload and reload before getting to your vehicle. It would have been more convenient if we had stayed a little closer to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, in one of the condo units there.All in all, we appreciated the views & the service from the rental company, but probably wouldn't stay at this particular condo in the future just because it didn't fit our needs during our trip. But we wholeheartedly recommend it as a great location with beautiful views of the mountain on both sides of the building.

Awesome views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is worth waking up at first light to see the awesome sunrises. The condo is comfortable and most of the furnishings are updated making it the most attractive units we viewed. The rental company was promp, courteous and responsive. All the folks at Sugar Top were friendly and helpful. The price posted online was very worthwhile however, all the add-ons made it much more than the base price. I didn’t like taking my own trash to the chute before departure when I was paying for maid service.
