Adorable y encantadora casa con vista a la playa en Surfside Beach, Texas. Ubicado en una calle principal de la playa con 5 a 10 min. caminar / conducir a la carretera de acceso a la playa. Christina's Heaven es un loft de 2 dormitorios con 1 baño, con vistas a la playa desde una gran terraza actualizada. Maravillosos techos de madera noble con planos de planta abiertos y paredes de ventanas para disfrutar de las vistas al océano. Cocina totalmente actualizada con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una gran isla. Encantador loft con 2 camas queen. Todas las comodidades del hogar con aire acondicionado centralizado y calefacción, asador (traer carbón) y una combinación de lavadora / secadora. Xfiinity TV, televisores de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD y cubierta frontal GRANDE para disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas a la playa. Very nice. Short drive to the beach. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of towels & great shower. A/C works great. We couldn't have been happier.

Great location, don't expect to do laundry or dishes, not very clean at all...

Upon our arrival into Surfside, I received the text message with details regarding the house - code for access, trash, and contact for questions with the property. It was prompt and offered great information. We traveled here with two families, ours with me, my husband, and our two kids ages 7 and 4 & our friends with two adults and two kids ages 6 and 4. The house was set up great for sleeping arrangements with two queen size bed bedrooms and two queen beds in the loft room. We did however encounter quite a few issues during our stay.... 1. The houses exposed surfaces were clean, but upon closer inspection there were dust bunnies everywhere - under the couches, beds, and in the utility closet. We swept and cleaned the house and yet continued to find more dust bunnies. Our friend checked the houses air filter and it was covered in a thick dust (and whatever else) allowing no air flow. So, we went and bought a replacement and noticed that we were seeing less dust bunnies as a result. As well as running a personal air-purifier. 2. The house was advertised saying there was a washer & dryer and a dishwasher. Though all weren't very functional. The washer smelled like sour mildew with stagnant water in it and was practically dysfunctional as the drying feature didn't work. The dishwasher had rust in it and we didn't feel clean or safe washing dishes in it. 3. The water in the house was described to us as nonpotable and we were told to bring drinking water, which we planned to do anyway. However, the shower water smelled so strongly of rust that it left us feeling dirtier than cleaner and showers were something that we needed having the 4 kids and 4 parents at a beach. 4. The freezer/refrigerator was complicated, the freezer worked great but the refrigerator was pretty warm and never got cool enough making us concerned that our food wouldn't keep. *when I reached out to the property manager I recieved no response. 5. The exterior cable railing on the balcony was rusting and beginning to come apart with with overall appeal looked bad and could potentially become a safety hazard. HOWEVER! There are some pros. 1. It was in the perfect location to the free public beach that we visited every day! 2. It was in its own little block so we didn't experience noisy next-door renters and it was very peaceful. 3. The air conditioning and fans were excellent to stay cool on the especially hot afternoons. Good visit. Could be better

Awesome family vacation stay!

Me & my children had a awesome stay here, relaxing, clean, felt like comfort at home, & very close to beach. We walked to the beach in 2 minutes or less right across the way & cooked out one evening. Everything we needed to feel at home. Definitely will be coming back!

Surfside beach getaway

My wife, and another couple (good friends) decided to take one more long weekend trip to the beach to end the summer. We happened upon Christina’s Heaven at the very last minute and reserved the house for our trip. The pics were very accurate and when we arrived, it was exactly what the photos showed. The house isn’t large but was perfect for four people. It was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. We rented a golf cart and were able to access the beach very easily. The access point was not even a block from the house and took us two minutes to get to from the house. That made it very easy if one of us needed to drive the cart back to the house for something while the rest stayed at the beach. We took our own groceries and enjoyed cooking our meals at the house. There was even a small charcoal grill and it gave us the opportunity to grill steaks and shrimp for some wonderful dinners! None of us had ever been to Surfside Beach before but thoroughly enjoyed our time away. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away for a nice, relaxing time at the beach.

Disappointed

3 of the 6 Deck chairs were broken. Some Dishes were dirty, Inside of some were cabinets dirty. Blankets smelled unclean, found fingernail clippings on one. Shower heads did not all work. Washer / Dryer combo left clothes damp and smelled bad. The water in the house turned my clothes and tips of my hair orange. The Water Well had to be serviced while we were there because it was water logged. Besides the water, the worst for me was the house shakes/moves even when a kid walks through the house. Good things - it does have WiFi, all rooms had tvs and it is very close to the beach.

Good beach access, perfect for family of 6

Christina’s heaven was exactly as pictured. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had easy beach access. It was also nice that this rental was further away from main tourists attractions (made the beach less crowded). Would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed this property and felt like it was represented accurately by the site. The property is clean and well-appointed. There are great views of the Gulf from the front deck, and the beach is just a short walk. Had a great time and it did not disappoint.

Great Family getaway!

This property was perfect for our family. 7 of us stayed here and never once felt crowded. Everyone had plenty of space. The house is stocked with all we needed for cooking. We stayed for 7 days and made every meal at the house. Added a couple of kitchen utensils for the next guests as well. :) The beds are so comfortable and we loved all the themed rooms. The big loungers in the family room are so comfy. The grill was a huge bonus for nightly meals. The shower is amazing with all the jets. The well water was not an issue for us at all. The view from the deck was amazing and so relaxing. The location is perfect and so quiet. Just a 2 minute drive to the beach and we just left all our beach gear in our truck. We will definitely stay here again.

Great house!

Really enjoyed the house. Awesome view of the ocean. Loved sitting on Adirondack chairs on porch. Bringing your own drinking/cooking water was no big deal at all. Would stay here again!

Charming older home with modern upgrades! Quiet, clean, close to beach! Kid friendly, family friendly-we had a wonderful time! Laura and the property manager were easy to work with and quick to respond!! Highly recommend!

Nice relaxing place

Wonderful Stay at the Beach

We couldn't have been happier with Christina's Heaven. The house was exactly what we wanted. There was more than enough room for the four of us (Me, My Wife and two teenage children). The Kitchen was well supplied, the living area was roomy, and the bedrooms more than accommodated us. The house is across the street from the beach, which suited us just fine, with a deck that provided a fantastic view of the Gulf. There aren't many stores around so make sure you bring all of the provisions that you will need, including water. Having spent enough time on the Texas coast, it is always advisable to bring plenty of drinking water. The only time we drove was the 2 minute drive to the beach to setup our little camp for a full day of sun, sand, and waves. It was a fantastic stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back soon.

Spring break from snowy Michigan

This was just perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teen daughters). Actually, we did not even use one bedroom. We called ahead to find out where to get the key since we were going to be late. We were there the first week of April and God provided beautiful weather all week. How can you complain about sunny and 75. The water for drinking/cooking was no problem. It is free in Surfside for filtered water. Just bring a few jugs. We enjoyed some jogs on the beach each morning and explored the area. Of course the girls enjoyed the sun and driving on the beach. Having a license was great for them. Access is just a touch down and across the road. This time of year it was not busy at all. We felt we had the area to ourselves. (Not sure what traffic would be like in the summer.). The thing to do for the locals is hang out at the beach for the day. There was even an ice cream truck that drove down the beach. We enjoyed the Sea Center in Lake Jackson, Brazoria Nature area, the Boot Barn, but the highlight for my husband and one daughter was night pig hunting with Joey using night vision scopes. If it had rained, the house was big enough and very comfortable to hang out in. We cooked all our meals. The kitchen supplies were adequate. Relaxing!!! We would definitely return. It is so much better than Florida if you just want to get away. No touristy stuff.

Cute place

The house was cute and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time. The owner and management company were easy to work with and made it possible for us to stay on fairly short notice. When there was a leak due to rain, the management company helped us out very quickly. There was plenty of seating in the living area for our family of 6 and the kitchen island was perfect for playing games. The beds were comfy and the sound of the ocean was peaceful. The deck provides a beautiful view of the ocean. We will not return to this home, though. A major omission in the listing is that you have to provide your own drinking and cooking water. We did not find this out until we had already paid for the rental. After a frantic call to the management company, we did find out that the water was not unsafe; it did, however, have a bad odor and a salty taste were you to drink it or use it for cooking. It was fairly unpleasant with sensitive children. Also, the kitchen was not well equipped for true cooking. There were not enough pots to be able to cook a full meal all at once so we had to cook a couple of the items and then cook the other parts of the meal. And we don't make fancy meals. I am talking about making pasta, cooking sauce and cooking a couple of vegetables. Also, there was no teapot so we had to use a cooking pot to heat water to make tea. For only having 6 people in the family, this was not good. A third disappointment is that the listing implies that this home has ocean access and is on the same side of the road as the ocean. It is across a highway from the beach and you have to walk along the highway to get to the beach access road or you have to drive. All the homes immediately across the road from this house have no trespassing signs so you cannot use their beach paths. This was a huge disappointment to us as this was something we worked hard at finding for our rental. Don't get me wrong - the beach is right there, not 100 yards from the home but "you can't get there from here." This really was a lovely home and we had a great stay. I just would not return to this home due to the above issues.

Great Place

I must say that when we drove up to the property we were disappointed as to the location, being that it was on a major highway. But, once we settled in we were very pleased. The home is very nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We will recommend it to all our friends and family and will make place for our next stay.
