Perfect location!

Cool house with plenty of space for friends and family. Not super decked-out and minimal amenities but clean and tidy and comfortable. Great customer service too.

Very nice location, great property manager

House was nice and spacious. Great location. Giorgia, the property manager was absolutely wonderful. She answered all our questions, made shuttle arrangements, was very attentive, responded very quickly. So pleasant to work with. Matteo gave us great recommendations, especially for the cenota. We had a great stay.

Excellent location and host

The property is lovely! Exactly as advertised! And with the beach so close by, you can walk right up. It was also a very clean beach because it is located near a hotel that maintains the area every morning. The host was also very responsive over email and resolved questions within minutes. Do rent a bike so that you can get in and around town from the private gated community.

Amazing place lovely Staff

at the time of booking we had some doubts reading a bad review that the house had but I must say that nothing we have read is true. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, we spent wonderful hours in the pool and in the hall. The rooms are spacious and furnished exactly as seen in the photos. The 2 terraces are very welcoming and also in this case we have not noticed any differences with the photos. The customer service is immediate and present at all times of the day, for anything there is a dedicated staff who solves every little problem (we had a little problem with a shower and it was solved by Luis, the maintenance man, in 10 minutes). This house is absolutely recommended to spend unforgettable moments.

The house is simply wonderful, even better than in the photos.

The living room and kitchen are very large and welcoming, we spent wonderful family moments on the large sofa or eating at the large Mexican-style table. We will carry the evenings spent talking on the terrace on the ground floor or on the large terrace with swimming pool upstairs listening to the sea (which is very close) in our hearts forever. The upstairs suite was a very pleasant discovery of comfort and space. Everything perfectly functional, excellent customer service with Giorgia always ready for any of our needs, small or large. Matteo came to advise us on how to get around the city and in the Mayan Riviera in general, his support was very useful. What to say? An unforgettable experience that I absolutely recommend. The hosts take care of you and support you from arrival to when you are at the airport to go home, truly a fantastic organization. The house is splendid, with all the comforts and really a step away from Playacar beach, a beautiful private beach. We will definitely be back soon my family and I. Thanks again and congratulations for the house and the service you offer to guests

I thought this would be a fabulous property. The photos are vibrant and beautiful. The reality was not the same. Owner said the photos vs reality we’re because of the “rainy” season. They state recently remodeled in the post… I asked them to detail what was remodeled. The pool area has no railing or seating. The side porch has no curtains or furniture as pictured. There is a bed in the living room. And while I am “new” to the beaches of Mexico… you can not flush ANY toilet paper…. Regardless of one’s intestinal distress. If I could rate Zero for the property, I would. They are responsive to emails, but not to acknowledgment of the difference between the posting and reality. Email me for photos…. Wonderful time in Playa!

I recently stayed at this property as a much-needed beach escape. The location to the beach, cannot be beat. We packed a small cooler to go to the beach every day but could easily run back and forth to the house for snack/drinks/etc. The house itself was alright (a few cleanliness issues -- but it is an older house so they are understandable), but to the credit of the hosts, each issue was addressed quickly. The house was adequately stocked with necessary kitchen appliances and linens. I just wish that there were more beach towels to accommodate for a multi-day beach stay. The AC was powerful and great for a warm day. The location is about a 20-min walk to the main downtown area for bars and restaurants but the house itself is settled in a tranquil private community. I felt incredibly safe in the neighborhood and it also provided a quiet and relaxing stay. I would say the absolute best part of this property (with the location to the beach being tied) is the customer service. Not only were the hosts responsive during my stay and provided continuous check-ins to make sure everything was going well, but they worked with me in the months leading up to my trip to not only set up an Airport shuttle, but grocery deliveries and excursions. It made the trip incredibly easy to plan and so much more relaxing. Gio and Stef truly go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful and I cannot thank them enough for all of the efforts that they do. The house itself has plenty of space and I would recommend this for families traveling for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

HARD PASS

Giorgia was great communicating and making sure we got to the house okay. The neighborhood was beautiful quite and safe, security guards are very nice and helpful. Days before our arrival I was reading the recent reviews and I asked for updated pictures to confirm some things, she didn’t send pictures saying the house looks like it does in the pictures. It didn’t look like the pictures. There was missing furniture off both patios the pictures were taking with a wide lens camera to make it look like the house was more “open” than it actually was. There weren’t chairs or an umbrella to take to the beach, no broom to clean up sand and daily messes no access to the laundry room and limited towels. They provided a clean/ new towel day but with a big group of people in and out the beach a pool it wasn’t convenient. The nice maintenance man was there all the time in the laundry room which he left the door open and let mosquitos in which we tried hard to keep out! Love playcar and the cool neighborhood just wouldn’t stay at a house with no daily amenities ie broom , towels , floor mats , beach chairs and umbrella. It’s hard to bring those things on a plane and travel with.

Wonderful Beach location, house needs some love!

My family and I, a total of thirteen people recently stayed at this property. We had booked this trip back in August of '22, we looked at the pictures multiple times on this website and I am sorry but the pictures are not true to what the place looks like. There is no décor anywhere in the house, the patio furniture is not the same, no curtains on the terrace and the living room has been closed off to make the Terrace bedroom. TAKE NEW PICTURES- the comments about them obviously bothers you or the pictures being true wouldn't be on the rules list! This house could really be an amazing place if it was maintained better and updated! You say it was RENOVATED! When? The plumbing needs updated, all of the toilets leak! Put up a how to flush the toilets sign instead of " If we have to call a plumber you will be charged $1000 Pesos". -We weren't told until the day we arrived that a lady comes in daily except for Sundays to clean. We declined this service, we wanted our privacy. Put a broom & mop in the kitchen for guest to use, the refrigerator leaks & it's by the beach. -Also, not told about maintenance man there every day but Sunday. So when you come back from the beach and find a man sleeping on the front patio...it kind of scares the crap out of you! You ask him to leave because you have NO idea who he is and suddenly you have no water! or he climbs a ladder to the pool level to clean and you notice him looking into the window while your still in bed. -The sheets were dirty when we got there and they don't fit the beds. BUY NEW ONES! Also, put blankets on the beds or have enough for all guests. -Amenities List- it has toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, & Pantry items. We got 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, half a roll of paper towels & when I asked about them I was told we had to buy our own. Shampoo and Pantry Items- Absolutely NOTHING! So we took everything we bought. Beach chairs and towels- Not one chair and give enough towels so everyone has one since they are only replaced every 7 days. -There were dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom upstairs when we arrived. In the downstairs bathroom there is black mold around the sink faucet & the shower had no water pressure. The bathroom by the kitchen the showerhead was broken & sprayed towards the wall, put up towels racks that aren't broken. The house needs to be sprayed for ants. It's the little things- decorate, put down rugs, fix things & actually update. Ruthanne

Excelente Costumer Service

Aún no me hospedo en la propiedad , necesitamos cambiar la fecha de nuestro viaje por el Covid-19. Llegamos en 10 días, pero aún sin estar allí se merecen cinco estrellas, por la comprensión y ayuda en todo este proceso. La comunicación del propietario fue muy profesional, clara y flexible !! Claramente se ve que no solo le interesa rentar su propiedad , también se preocupa por sus clientes, gracias Luca

We immediately fell in love with seeing this house; it's 100% Mexican but with all the American and European facilities, located in the most beautiful part of the Riviera Maya. Living in this house is relaxing, pleasant, and comfortable. You are close to the beach and the Caribbean sea inside the fantastic Caribbean jungle. The place is relative to all commodities, commercial centers, and hospitals, but when you close the entrance door, you enter a fantasy world isolated from everything else.
